Gen 1: God ""said"" & God saw it was good, 9 different times!

Ps 103:19-21 His angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments "hearkening unto the voice" of his word

Gen 1:3-4 And God ""said"" and there was light. And God saw that the light was good
(MY NOTE: (He "spoke" & His mighty angles went into motion "hearkening at His voice" at the commandment of His Word)

Pro 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the "tongue" and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

(MY NOTE: Our SPOKEN words are seeds & we will eat the fruits of our speech.

God changed Abram (meaning high exalted father) to Abraham (meaning father of a multitude of nations) Gen 17:5. He did it by inserting the 5TH letter of the Hebrew alphabet H ("Hei") & the symbol for the number 5 = (Grace)

God changed Sarai (meaning my princess) to Sarah (mother of nations) Gen 17:15. He added "H" (Hei = Grace)

After 15 years of silence by God, while Abraham himself tried to make a seed for God. He became too old he GAVE UP.

One yr after God changes their names, Sarah is with child

Why? Their SPEACH confessions were changed. Every time they or anyone else SPOKE their NAMES. They declared: Abraham Father of a multitude of nations or Sarah mother of nations! SPOKEN words are SEEDS!

Jericho an unconquerable, walled city. Walls 11 feet high, 14 feet wide. The top a smooth stone slope, angling upward at 35 degrees for 35 feet. Its walls were thought to be impenetrable

Joshua 6:2 & 16 says, God had given the city of Jericho to them before they even began to march around its walls

God gives Joshua a two step plan to conquer. Have the people to march "silently" around Jericho for 6 days, & then on the 7th day, to blow trumpets & SHOUT.

On day 7, Before they blow & shout. Joshua Declares via the SPOKEN word: The Lord has this day given you this city. They blow & SHOUT & the walls tumble down

Why " march silently"? So, no complaining/negative WORDS/SPEACH couldn't get in the way

Luke 1:11 & 13 An angel comes to Zacharias & Elisabeth. Telling they will give birth to John the Baptist. Verse 18 Zacharias "Speaks Words of Doubt" & angel causes him to become dumb until the child born

Why? To keep Zachs negative WORDS of UNBELIEF from getting in the way!

Psalm 16:8,9- "in have set the Lord always before me, i shall not be moved, therefore my heart is glad, my glory rejoiceth, my flesh shall rest in hope." Mark 16:18 can be applied.

Of course they have power, but they don’t have divine power.

You can’t speak and command things into existence by speaking words. That’s the domain of God. Only Satan suggests we can BE LIKE God to that type of extent.

I wouldn't be so sure about that ------

God Spoke Faith words and created this earth and all in it -------Are we not made in God's image -----God called those things that be not as though they were ---------and we are made in God's image as per scripture ------

God's Faith creates ------we confess our Faith by speaking words that we are Saved -----and then believe we are saved -----your Faith words bring the unseen into this seen realm --------

Hebrews 11:1 ESV
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

I say -----Jesus understood the power of words -----He spoke to a thing ---a tree --fig tree and killed it dead ----and then said to the Disciples ---if you have Faith you can SAY __to this Mountain go throw yourself into the sea and if you believe ---it will be done ------so you can move mountains by speaking faith words ------

there is creative divine power in words folks -----positive words bring positive results ----negative words bring negative results -----

You’re severely hyper-extending the created in God’’s image idea. Might as well say we can blow on dirt and create life. After all, that’s what God did and we are created in his image.

You’re taking some scripture out
In your previous reference to Elijah, he accomplished that because God directly told him to. He couldn’t have done that out of the blue without God directly telling him to. Hey if God directly tells you to command the weather, have at it. If you truly think you can do that on your own, please keep the weather channel on live stream 24/7 so you can make the blasted hurricanes and tornados and floods go another direction from civilization.

Also why didn’t you speak those wildfires in Hawaii and Canada out of existence? Not very loving of you.

Also there are huge droughts around the world. Could you PLEASE speak some plant life into existence, possibly some cows too, if they like beef. Or pizza if they like takeout.

The fact you do none of this, proves my point, and proves the point even you don’t believe this nonsense.

Also there are probably some hospitals and nursing homes in your area. No they won’t let you in to personally pray for them, but get this, in scripture Jesus healed people who weren’t even expecting it. So please do the suffering in hospitals near you some good, and speak their mass healing into existence. Jesus did it even when they didn’t expect it or think he could. You’re made in his image, please do the same.

Again, not done out of the blue without GOD’S direction. It was GOD’S direct word, not the prophet snagging a verse out of the blue, and using it to manipulate reality without God’s direct say so.

I challenge you to also please, stream the weather channel 24/7 so you can speak dangerous weather away from harming people. If that IS what you truly believe this power can do.

Depends on what that means. Does it mean you can snag some divine revelation from scripture and manipulate a chosen reality with it? Nope.

If that’s what it means I know plenty of verses one could apply to bad weather. Something even the Apostle Paul didn’t do.

That's not what is being said. And if God does impress a particular verse upon your heart or brings understanding of a particular situation, it will come to pass.
But again...I was just jesting. Most of the verses I read were using life and death as a metaphor for blessing or hurt.
