"The Chosen" and the "Pride" flag

Some Christians have gone into a meltdown because they saw a rainbow flag on a picture of the set of "The Chosen". I've learned enough in my 72 years to seek for more information before reacting.

It appears that a contractor came on set with a rainbow flag. And that's all there is to it. It is illegal to discriminate on the basis of sexuality, so the producers could not refuse the contractor's services. Personally, I have no problem with it. The individual whoever or whatever he/she/it is, was witnessed to. That is always a good thing. A link to CBN's report follows.

Also, the two ACTORS' were reacting to some hostile posts and they have since reposted. Jordan Ross said he loves the fans. He works with the person and was mad over some bullying comments to fire the crew member . This show will soon reach close to a billion watching/viewing and some who like me didn't even notice the flag and have gotten closer to the Lord and/or accepted Jesus. The series is expected to be the most watched faith-based series ever. It's amazing to see the comments fly by so fast from people all over the world who love the episodes. I also think a behind the shot of a pride flag is not worthy of ranting against a show that shows the water turning into wine, leper & lame healed, the woman with the issue of blood, Jesus walking on water and so forth. It's not a church it's a production set producing an amazing series.

That may apply to hiring practices but nothing else. And sometimes what is legal is evil and immoral and must be rejected (like abortion). However let's say someone came on a Christian set with a Nazi flag or a Communist flag. Would you say it is illegal to discriminate on the basis of evil ideologies? The rainbow flag represents an IDEOLOGY which is in fact a rejection of God's natural order. Christians and conservatives are being bullied and intimidated by the sexual perverts. In fact the whole world is being bullied by them and nobody is standing up to these bullies. All of a sudden the "rights" of sexual deviants are trumping the rights of normal and sane citizens. So it is high time someone drew a line on all this evil nonsense. Which is really to target little children and thoroughly corrupt them.

As this is a movie set, there should be zero tolerance for ANY group trying to promote a political viewpoint.... unless the movie is designed to be a political statement.

Makes me wonder if the movie is a cover for the political statement, reveal a bit and then do damage control, see the reaction and over time push the envelop a little further.

I just thought ppl can be a bit precious over flags. Not just gay flags but any flags.
