2 Timothy 4:4-5 (NKJV), “…and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil your ministry.”
We were created to overcome! The Bible says we have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness, by God’s divine power, through knowing Him! (2 Peter 1:3). God intended for us to live above fear and stand firm in Him, refusing to be tossed about by every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:14). He has given us His word of truth and His Holy Spirit to teach and lead us in it.
When we invest our time and effort into studying the word and fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit - in His Presence, we are able to know God and His ways so well that we immediately recognize what is not of Him - no matter how close to the truth it seems to be. Then, when we know the truth and walk in it, it will always lead to life, blessing, increase and supernatural favor!
God doesn’t expect us to be strong in ourselves (Ephesians 6:10; Philippians 2:13), but to be strong in Him and in the strength of His might. God has equipped and empowered us to overcome every challenge and serve Him effectively for the advancement of His kingdom! Remember, knowing God is our pursuit, loving Him is our empowerment, and walking in Him is our victory!
Thanks,
JESUS IS LORD.
