Hello everyone!! I'm back... View attachment 252217 I have some news to share. Back in December, I had to have kidney surgery to remove some very large stones from my right kidney. All went well although it took awhile for me to bounce back to 100%.

Then last month on May 4th, my Daddy died. He was in a nursing home for the last year of his life. He was depressed, discouraged, and pretty much just gave up. He wanted to go back "home" for a long time so it's a blessing that he's finally out of his suffering and misery.

We had to put Mom in an assisted living facility. She has full blown Alzheimers.

I found out on Thursday that I have skin cancer, a basal cell carcinoma in a mole on my right leg. I go in for surgery removal on July 19th.

The last 7 months have been very hard on me but I'm trying my best to stay positive. View attachment 252218
Hi, @blue_ladybug … It’s nice to meet you. :) I’m new here, but in exploring the forums, I happened to see this post. I’m sorry to hear about your troubles of the past year, but it’s obvious that our ever-merciful Father is giving you grace day by day to cope with it all.

I just wanted to tell you not to worry at all about that basal cell carcinoma surgery. You’ll barely even know you had it. Recovery is just a matter of taking care of a few stitches—maybe a few more than you might be expecting from a tiny spot—but not painful. I’m sure it will seem nothing compared to what you’ve already been through. May God continue to bless you and your mom. I’m sure many here will be praying for you both!

Hi Bee, nice to meet you also. If you click on the link in my signature below, you can read my other testimonies of all that I've previously been through and overcome. :)

Yeah, the sting from the numbing is the worse part. Plus I have a needle phobia so I won't be watching the procedure. LOL

Thank you for your prayers, I greatly appreciate them all. Laughing.png

Something I've wondered about for quite awhile:

Is Rainbow Bridge real? Or is it just a nice story we want to believe in order to comfort ourselves after our pets die??

Thoughts? Opinions?

Supposedly it's a bridge that pets cross when they die..

I hope it is true, I know some people do make a case from scripture.

My cat used to walk with me to work everyday until I reached a busy street and then he would be waiting there when I returned home at the end of the day, so maybe now he is waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.

Every cat is so unique, I would love to see him again, he was a tuxedo cat.

So glad to hear from you. My mom died 2 weeks ago. She was 93, also wanted to go. But not a Christian. I have left that in God's hands.

Praying your surgery goes well, and they get everything.
