More likely they would just throw him off a roof.
Under playing? If you want me to get graphic I’ll be happy to do so. He would indeed be thrown off a roof, but not before he was raped to the point of bleeding out, set on fire and beheaded. But we’re the bad guys. 😌

Did I ask you to get graphic? Um, no, I did not. But saying it would be an insult to Islam
is certainly underplaying why a gay man would not fly a rainbow flag on a Muslim production.
The barbarism of present day Islam does not seem that far gone from OT times.
They have little to no understanding of the NT, and deny who Jesus is.
They also have very little freedom to make choices that stray from
what is prescribed to them through the Koran and Hadiths.
All on/under the threat of death.

'The Chosen' is full of lies?...wasn't it you who in another Thread tried to shake down well-known Preachers and then when asked couldn't name one you listen to. You and your team 'anti-Chosen' are in the wee minority of viewers and when I think it through, who would have interest in slamming what will be the most watched series on Jesus ever, obviously.....the deceiver. Btw it's God's Word I posted you disagree with, not mine.
I'd be the last person to tell anyone not to pray for someone they want to pray for. However, I think people are sadly mistaken if they're hoping Trump can reverse the course of events. He might be able to slow them slightly and temporarily, but it's way too late to stop or reverse the progressive agenda. It would really be to everyone's advantage to acknowledge reality instead of entertaining pipe dreams that Donald J. Trump can be anything other than a stopgap. It might make people feel better if Trump gets elected; they may feel vindicated for what they feel was a stolen election.
But this is a sorry substitute for what really matters: bringing
the gospel of Christ to a desperate world while there's still time.
It really matters to bring the gospel of Christ to a desperate world while there is still time, while he endlessly carps about it being done.

They have made a virtue out of their vices, but I have yet to see you point that out. You have failed to see what a serious threat the LBGTQ agenda is to everyone, particularly children.
This is the real problem.
The ongoing indoctrination of children over the past ten years, or so, which is easy to verify.

The flag is representative and a symbol of this group there is absolutely now way around this fact.

Christians supposedly hold themselves against the highest standard, Jesus, but it seems to me the reality is their standard are those much less seemly so that they can view themselves as having surpassed the standard. I once had a dream about having a kiosk (I won't go into the details and the symbolism that represents my personal ministry/private practice but) that served chicken breast prepared to perfection (meat of the word), and a gay man approached it and, warily looking over at my mother sitting at the counter (representing the disapproving church) who pretended she didn't see him (unrecognizing?) and asked if he could have some, but, though I normally served it in a boat lined with gingham parchment paper, I was at a loss at how to serve it to him, so I thought to wrap it in the parchment paper and gave it to him without the paper boat? Why? Idk! Why should I not 'be seen' offering him chicken in a boat like everyone else? Because he has not met that 'higher standard'?... Well, actually I did not offer him a boat because I had no boats, even though I was aware that I should have. So, really I couldn't serve anyone chicken in a boat, and now it is because there is no one can achieve that Highest standard, so you're all getting chicken wrapped in gingham because you all might as well be just as gay.

I welcome gay people into my life but not militant radicals. IMO the individual who brought that flag was too busy proselytizing their views on sexuality to receive the Gospel.
Stop with your incorrect projections already. I don’t distain anything; I’ve never seen the show; not one season, not one episode, not one minute, not one second. As for the rest of your blathering diatribe I didn’t even bother reading it. Life’s too short.
First post shows exactly how little you know about Jenkins, everyone hired is expected to give 100% to their job. This is one of your incorrect projections.
As for the insulting remarks, yuk:sick:

Well, I've been away for about two and a half hours, and I come back and I see that we're still at it!!
Sadly you're right, but I am stopping here. The vast majority of viewers are fans and to let a minority of critics try to put a damper on this beloved series on the Gospel of Jesus, is a losing cause. Like someone on another Thread called my Pastor Greg Laurie 'Mr Hollywood' trying to degrade him. He has a Harvest Crusade every yr touching and saving thousands of souls.I was watching the K-LOVE Fan Awards Red Carpet and the movie about him 'Jesus Revolution' was up for an award. The producers were saying how great the movie has done and is making Hollywood take another look at what a lot of people really want to see. Now they're releasing another movie "Ordinary Angels' a true story with Hilary Swank.
Btw,I do intend on finding out more clearly the protocol here on claiming lies against members and at what point a slur against another calls for disciplinary action. I have been caught in the combat zone myself here and confess I caved a little too, lol.

@TabinRivCA : Sister, from what I've seen, there's nothing wrong, at all, with your comments and posts: so please try not to worry: If other people want to be narrow-minded in their beliefs, then that's their problem: But meanwhile, of course, you shouldn't have to cop insults!! I reckon that we could probably report people who seem to like to continually insult people, and, if, after you tell them that you're finding them to be offensive, and they don't stop, then sadly it might be time to report them to the Administration of this Group.

Take care.

May the Lord Bless you always,

Admittedly, I am not a fan of the show. I didn't like what I saw so I don't plan on watching it. But if others wish to watch it, that's between them and the Lord. I just pray they use discernment and study Scripture regularly and intently.

I'm sorry, but if you're "happy" to describe in detail the kind of things that the sin nature of mankind brings out and Satan revels in, then that tells me all that I need to know.

I've posted Scripture in context in this thread regarding certain folks' behavior, but that seems to get ignored. And I see attacks like this in more than just this topic here. This board has a reputation on the internet, and frankly, it lives up to it.

(That's not a compliment)

Don't even bother trying to reply to me: not only are you on ignore, but even your "reactions" are blocked by my adblocker.

You don't get the last word. Ever.

And with that: Magenta, TabInRivCa, thanks for the chat in here folks. Same for you as well, OLDMANBORNAGAIN. :) See you folks around.

Do you think that guy would display that flag on a Muslim set? You know full well he wouldn’t because that would be correctly deemed an insult to all of Islam.
This is an important point. Christians have been very permissive, have confused dealing with caring for individuals with being very permissive with the greater movement. The flag is a symbol of the movement.

It is a more profound insult to Christianity, the rainbow is spoken of twice in scripture and neither time does has to do with pride in sin. This is God's gift to humanity and part of how God displayed His throne.
I think most people who are not defensive about this show get your point and understand its validity.

A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne. Revelation 4:3b

I know zip about the program the Chosen. But it seems similar to the issue with the Passion of the Christ. Mel Gibson clearly has issues with the Jews, I doubt he believes the Holocaust ever happened, which is what his father believed. I didn't realize his true beliefs until after I had seen the movie. And I would say the movie did a lot to touch people with the Gospel, even though it was couched in Catholic rhetoric. And so as Christians, should be have been so gung-ho to support the movie? This is the issue with some of these tv/movies. I recall a whole thread on The Shack, that got just as heated. Some loved it, some were dead against it. Some time later I watched it and looked up the author of the book and realized he was a universalist. It's billed as a Christian movie though. So as Christians we need to be very careful of what we support.

Gay people need the Gospel. But they need it without compromise. Tolerance and inclusion are not words in the Bible. It becomes a very difficult task then to bring the Gospel to gay people. There are special ministries to prisoners. There are special ministries to drug addicts. And I think there needs to be the same outreach to gays. It's a very fine line to walk, but we cannot ignore them either. I think it should be made a great matter of prayer of how to reach out without compromise. So many are in bondage and looking for a way out. But we need to be very careful and make sure we are keeping our children safe at the same time so they understand how serious a sin homosexuality is.
