I think Paul was pointing to the more. There is more to the Christ life here and now than salvation. Paul’s focus was pretty much…yup your saved, great! now live like your saved. You are now citizens of the Kingdom so live in that reality today . There is more available for us today than just being saved. There is redemption available to us.Access to a transformational life through the life of Christ. Being saved was meant to be the initial step into the Kingdom. Individual Salvation was not meant to be the primary objective of our faith. Salvation is the reality the believer lives out of. Eternally secure I now have access to a redemptive life and Kingdom living today that goes on into eternity

The faith of Jesus Christ justifies the believer. Christ's work on the cross was enough.

The Lord will provide, Faith and the works of obedience goes together.

There is more than the cross through Jesus and the justification . The cross was important for justification . Now that we are justified there is more available today.

This verse tells us if we do not know the Lord Jesus Christ is in us, we have failed the test.

This verse tells us that Paul knew the Lord Jesus Christ was in him and, therefore, Paul had not failed the test.

We are still saved by faith and not by works (Eph 2:8-9).

Salvation is a gift, given when we choose to believe the gospel (Eph 1:13; Rom 10:9).
Rewards are earned, and may be lost.

Doing the things that are pleasing in His sight.

So we have faith plus works = salvation

Nice dodge. Those things that are "pleasing in His sight" include keeping the Sabbath, obeying the Ten Commandments, and keeping other Jewish customs. If we don't do this things we can't be assured of salvation. Nice.

The fruits of the spirit is a separate manifestation to what you reçieve later on.

The fruits of the spirit Jesus, refers to a manifestation here and now.
But salvation refers to a manifestation in a future event.

It's not confusing friend that you can only know that your saved, by what you've been told.
