That’s great. What did you study together?
We studied sexual sin but we didn’t really fight it after we finished the devotional. Im not sure how to help when he gets turned on. I only know that when a guy gets hard, it can be very uncomfortable if he doesn’t do anything about it for a while.

this is a red flag. He doesn't sound ready. You may have to give him some space and get on with your life and see if he returns.
Neither of us are ready to date rn. That’s why we want to wait

One of the reasons it's better to marry than to burn.

If he's not ready for marriage (which he doesn't sound to be), suggest a cold shower or keep a bucket of ice water on hand. Seriously, though, you've said you haven't met in person yet, right? In which case, if you DO decide to meet this player in person, bring along a chaperone.🤷‍♀️

As an aside, my husband was 25 and a virgin when we met and married. Nothing wrong with sexual attraction but a real man can control those urges, despite the discomfort, be a godly gentleman, and WAIT for the appropriate God-given time for sex.
If he's pressuring for it...run.

We were gonna plan on meeting in the summer but we kinda realized that we need to work on our sexual desires first so we’re thinking winter break cuz it’ll give us more time to strengthen our relationship with God.

Can you bring someone who can act as a chaperone?

For you know what commands we gave you through the lord Jesus. For this is God’s will: that you become holy, that you keep away from sexual immorality, that each of you know how to possess his own body in holiness and honor, not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God (1 Thessalonians 4:2-5).
