We just need to do our best to love people and not hint or say that we judge the soul of a person or child or even unbeliever to hell and eternal damnation. ANYONE WHO JUDGES SOMEONE TO ETERNAL DAMNATION, THE PERSON DOING THE WRONGFUL JUDGING WILL BE JUDGED HIMSELF.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit cannot be committed by "fellow believers."
I agree that you are correct.
i have been taught that it is a national sin, not an individual one; that the reference is to the nation of Israel, that because she corporately rejected her Husband, the LORD takes us as His betrothed bride.
not to say that she will not be reconciled to Him, but.. this is not the same tack that usually presented with these verses.

We tend to think the Bible is about us when we read it, but it by and large isn't: it's about Christ, about God reconciling His creation with Himself and judging sin.

I see both when looking at examples like the 5 cities of the well watered plains where Lot chose. He would have spared them for a remnant of believers.

There was a small window that God gave to Nineveh when God was going to destroy the nation. We know that Jonah reluctantly preached to them and was severely depressed when God repented and spared them.
God almost started over with His people when Moses descended from the mountain after receiving the 10 Commandments.

Many times the LORD hated individuals too.
Over 40 times He used terms like abhor and other synonyms.

Anymore I try real hard to be on God's side with these matters because I don't want to mistakenly bless or love those who hate God.
That's counter to what I was taught by the world and worldly churches, but it is what the Bible warns His people of. Some teach that God was different in the OT, but changed in the NT.

We know of large portions of N.T. like Romans 1 where God gives some people over to a reprobate mind and rejects them for rejection of Him. Those are individuals, just like the Pharaoh who was a reprobate and opposed Moses.
If anything, God's judgement in the NT was the harshest of all.

It's nice what you believe and express in some regards.

It's also good that your off-loading your pain, and sharing your personal grief.

This is the first step to recovery.

How along have you carried this scar and how long since your friend gave up his life.

Where did he first be consumed he was going to hell and for what sin ?

I'm worried by this.

There seems to be some involvement of demonic activity going on here,
for your friend to give up his life this way, he must have been getting attacked from spiritual wickedness.

Your Judging Christians for something that no right Christian with common sense would do.

Your even pushing Judgment your self on anyone here by saying God will judge you and refering that to anyone.

Why won't you acknowledge that there is no such thing as a Christian being a Christian who uses Judgement this way 🤔

Surely you see that logic.

Why should we go down that road, where will It take us.

You've invited a challenge on intellect and invited challenge on a discussion that is for God alone.

Where is the sense in that. Other than to bringin discord or inviting it.

No Christian wrote the scriptures, not all Christians understand it.

And you can't put every Christian in the anyone field.

And come across as far super.

So just acknowledge your error that your argument is with Satan.

You've come to wrong place if you think your request will be heard by all.

Because the world is full of people who need help your help and our help.

So I think you should go into detail more about your friend.

I believe that the Gospel of John was written to unbelievers as it was believers when I read it to chapter 20.
It tells the world exactly how to get saved.

30And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

In all honesty the entire Bible is written to us although some of it doesn't apply to us, like the unpardonable sin, the sacrifices (Hebrews, Galatians), carnal ordinances, lunar and weekly sabbaths as it describes clearly in the new testament 3 times.

The moral laws still apply and a righteous government will be instituted by the Lord again.

One rule of interpretation is to whom is the passage speaking?
I think we agree on that. That's a big one.
🙂👍

It was a close boy in my Father's side of the family, related to me. He had a buddhist dad and a buddhist mom. Buddhists grow up going to a temple and have sometimes monks come and do funerals and chant, and do witchcraft miracles when someone needs to be cursed or healed.

My aunt was healed of a coma in the name of Buddha... do Christians even know that is possible? And she was in a coma.

That is why this boy thought he committed the unforgivable sin, he said that Jesus does it by the power of the devil or maybe by the power of Buddha and not by the Holy Spirit.

Then after he witnessed loving miracles of healing cancer and blindness, and muteness in a local workshop revival, all in the Name of Jesus... he confessed Jesus, accepted JESUS as his only Lord and Saviour and that God raised Him from the dead, and became a baby Christian.

But when he read the Bible and got to the part that most Christians don't care about enough, he read the part of the unforgivable sin.

And he seriously read it verbatim and admitted he said that Jesus did his miracles by the power of the devil or Buddha before he knew better or believed JESUS with all of his heart.

But the verbatim words of JESUS the boy was terrified about, because JESUS seem to plainly say and mean: say that Holy Spirit is the devil or His MIRACLES are the devil, and you will never be forgiven, not in this age or the age to come.

Jesus didn't say "deliberate" or "not deliberate". Jesus never said anything that most websites and pastor assume blindly that he was talking about the Pharisees doing it knowing better and knowing that it was the HOLY SPIRIT but just rejected it.

Read JESUS" words. That is what this boy did. And all his pastors and my own pastors and christian leaders at the time, could not prove to the boy that JESUS' could forgive him.

The pastor's would say, "Oh, the pharisees knew better and they committed it but no other person can commit it... except unbelievers.

And the boy said, "I said it while I was still and unbeliever... am I doomed?"

Then the pastors would say, "Um.... You did not know it was the Holy Spirit, so you are not guilty of the unforgivable sin.

And the boy would say, "That is not what JESUS' said. JESUS said, "Anyone who speaks against the HOLY SPIRIT"

And the pastors say, "Jesus didn't mean you."

And the boy said, "I literally did it! and Jesus says ANYONE who does this, is not forgiven."

And the pastors said, "They were pharisees, and you are not, they were ministers of the law and word of God, and you are not, so JESUS didn't mean you will never be forgiven."

The boy was confused and worried and says, "That is not what JESUS said, he said ' ANYONE '. He didn't say just pharisees, or just leaders, or just those who know better, the BIBLE says JESUS said, 'ANYONE'. And I looked it up in an english dictionary, and it reads"
anyone (noun): any·one ˈen-ē-(ˌ)wən. : any person at all.
"

The boy then said, "Why would JESUS say anyone if he only meant a specific group of people? JESUS CAN'T LIE."

The pastors say, "We studied this in seminary school and read books about it. Jesus didn't mean "anyone" literally."

The boy then says, "It is written in the Bible, "Let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4)" So, pastors, you are probably lying to me and JESUS never lies. What you say does not line up with what JESUS says."

And the pastors could never find a scripture of JESUS' words that would prove the boy was not eternally doomed.

ALL OF THE PASTORS' STORIES AND EXPERIENCES, AND KNOWLEDGE, AND CHARISMATIC PERSONALITIES, AND EDUCATION, AND SERMONS, AND INTERPRETATIONS COULD NOT COMFORT THE BOY BECAUSE IT WAS THEIR STUFF AGAINST THE WORDS OF JESUS... AND THE BOY TRUSTS JESUS THE MOST MORE THAN ANY HUMAN.

What would you do to help this boy? He was not a Christian when he blasphemed. And JESUS DID SAY "SPEAK against" AND THAT PERSON WILL NEVER BE FORGIVEN. JESUS didn't say whether or not you are a believer or not, and leader or pharisee or not.

Do you see why this boy was paranoid of fleshly humans who "are liars", and only wants someone to explain what JESUS SAID.

So, 3 and a half years go by and the boy is depressed and takes mental illness medicine, and is suicidal at times but fears eternal damnation, and can't finish school, and can't get a job, just spending his time crying in tears to God who the boy is afraid doesn't hear the boy anymore because the boy has committed the unforgivable sin.

At the end of 3 1/2 years, the boy writes a note: "I fear I have committed the unforgivable sin. And I am afraid of eternal damnation and hellfire. But if I live and sin more, It will be worse for me in HELL and JESUS will be more unhappy. So I want JESUS to be happy, even though he can't forgive me. Goodbye...."

And before the parents read that note, he hanged himself before the day was over, professional medical people have told us after they dealt with the body.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PASTORS AND CHRISTIAN LEADERS DON'T KNOW THE WORDS OF JESUS, AND DONT' LIVE BY THE WORDS OF JESUS, AND DON'T PROVE EVERYTHING THROUGH THE WORDS OF JESUS.

Had any of these pastors cared to know the original greek language, and grammar, and can point that JESUS meant CONTINUALLY BLASPHEME (WHICH VERBATIM IS ABSOLUTELY WHAT THE SCRIPTURE SAYS!), then my dear family member would have been ALIVE TODAY and lived a much more fruitful Christian life. If you believe suicide is a sin then you might condemn the boy to hell and say he is burning in hell forever... because WEAK and LYING, UNSCRIPTURAL CHRISTIAN LEADERS DON'T USE SCRIPTURE AND JESUS' WORDS TO INTERPRET SCRIPTURE AND JESUS' WORDS.

It is NOT the boy's fault for loving JESUS' and accepting JESUS' PLAIN WORDS.

IT IS BECAUSE TOO MANY CHRISTIAN LEADERS HAVE THIER OWN DELUSIONAL INTERPRETATIONS AND IMAGINARY UNDERSTANDINGS ABOUT SCRIPTURE INSTEAD OF TRUSTING JESUS' WORDS ALONE.

IF YOU DON'T ACCEPT JESUS' WORDS 'AS IS', THEN YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT JESUS SAYS. THAT IS FACT.

AND BECAUSE EVIL CHRISTIAN LEADERS DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT JESUS SAYS, BUT CARE MORE ABOUT THEIR UNDERSTANDINGS OR INTERPRETATIONS OF SCRIPTURE, OR WIFE OR MONEY OR POWER OR SECRET PERVERSE SINS AND HYPOCRISY... THAT MY FAMILY MEMBER DIED. WHO KNOWS WHERE HE IS?! IS HE BURNING IN HELL FOREVER FOR COMMITTING SUICIDE?!

PEOPLE AND THEIR THEORIES ABOUT SCRIPTURE ***angry now***, HOW ABOUT JESUS' PURE WORDS, EXACTLY AS HE SAID THEM, GRAMMAR, VOCABULARY, ALL OF IT?!

Sorry to get so heated and passionate. I lost someone dear to me, and some Christians dare to even say because he committed suicide, I have lost him forever.

Who will pay? For not being able to save my family member... who will pay?

That is why, I think usually that Christian leaders are truly evil if they even hint at not receiving JESUS verbatim words. IT IS WHY I STRESS AND AM PARANOID OF IT SO MUCH.

YOU SHOULD BE TOO.

IF JESUS' WORDS AND GRAMMER ARE NOT ENOUGH, no one can help you.

So I gave my heart's cry. Probably someone will say I am wrong for feeling this way.

IF YOU NEVER LOST A LOVED FAMILY MEMBER BECAUSE OF THE ACTIONS AND WORDS OF A HYPOCRITICAL CHRISTIAN, JUST DONT TALK TO ME IF YOU WANT TO ARGUE. YOU DON'T DESERVE TO CORRECT ME IF YOU HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED THE HEARTBREAK AND SEARING PAIN AND HAUNTING NIGHTMARES.

FOR THOSE HYPOCRITE WHO DON'T CARE AND WANT TO ARGUE AGAINST THE TRUTH: "THE LORD REBUKE YOU!!!"

What I've been taught is that that rejection of Him as King, Husband, Messiah and God is exactly the blaspheming of the Spirit.

individuals could be forgiven of this, for example Saul of Tarsus, but not the nation as a whole.

70AD had to happen. similarly in Jeremiah 14-15 God says to His prophet not to pray for tge people, that He will not listen when they fast, won't accept their offerings, that even if Moses and Samuel plead before Him He would not relent - yet He would preserve a remnant. the captivity had to happen.

Just putting the idea here.

Well since God the Son (also called the Son of Man) is distinct from God the Holy Spirit, you have been taught falsely. Indeed the words of Christ in that incident make it clear that the Holy Spirit is distinct from the Son of Man.

The "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" is mentioned in Mark 3:22-30 and Matthew 12:22-32. This case of blasphemy is a specific one, called "the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" in Matthew 12:31. In Matthew 12:31-32, the Pharisees (who were not Christians), having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by the demon "Beelzebub." (Matthew 12:24) Notice in Mark 3:30 that Jesus is very specific about what they did to commit "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit." These Pharisees were obviously not believers to commit this unpardonable sin. What is unpardonable for us today is the state of continued unbelief. (John 3:18)

This has become your argument,

If you feel I am arguing with you, it's because your haven't let go of strong feelings you have over this matter.

The fact that the pastor teacher had told this boy he was not doomed and the boy still took his own life, is enough to tell me that the boy was being oppressed by spiritual wicked forces,
You do know about Christians suffering persecution from unclean spirits I take it ?.

The boy you say, would not take the pastor's word for it that he wasn't doomed.

How can you hold the teachers fully accountable for the boy taking his own life 3 years later.

The boy was not being told he was doomed, by the teachers.

The whole scripture you speak about is explained in metaphor and reality.

A demon will not drive out a demon.

And a demon will not perform any healing.

Jesus said the word if a demon drives out a demon.

He was talking metaphor.

Which means
Hypothetical.

the part about blasphemy of the holy spirit was a separate matter, Which was aimed at the Pharisees for not believing him.

IF a member of your family was healed of any illness, it was not by a demon or a budda God

or by any demon leaving a person.

Because a demon would not leave a person unless by the holy spirit.

Your family member may well have said a silent pray to Jesus or God or the holy spirit to be healed of sickness. Because a budda God can't do it.

If your boy turned his life to Jesus then he was saved.

If he then stayed around people practicing budha or even in close proximity to someone practicing that.

There a good chance the boy was under constant attack of spiritual unclean spirits. Because they attack Christians this way.

Those spiritual forces of wickedness would have made your friend not take no for an answer not the teachers.

Not any teacher or pastor who told him no your not doomed.
The teachers who have not identified your understanding of an answer, they should have given your friend is not there fault.

How did the teachers know to give your friend, your answer.

Why would you hold the teachers accountable for not giving them an answer of one type.

There is numerous answers the teaches could have given him.

How would the teachers know he would take his life.

Your grief is the reason your annoyed

And untill your grief passes which I hope and pray it does.

You will not change your mind untill then.

But write to the church leaders and tell them they to change all translations.

Because PAUL WRITES: "PROVE ALL THINGS"

AND THESE PASTORS COULD NOT PROVE THAT THE BOY WAS NOT DOOMED BY USING THE SCRIPTURES IN GREEK.

THESE SAME PASTORS SAY AND CLAIM OUT OF THEIR OWN MOUTHS THAT THEY OBEY GOD, AND CAN PROVE, AND HAVE ANSWERS.

THESE SAME PASTORS SAY (AND BRAG SOMETIMES) THAT THEY WENT TO SEMINARY SCHOOL AND BIBLE COLLEGE, WHERE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO LEARN ABOUT GREEK GRAMMAR AND GREEK MANUSCRIPTS. IT IS LIKE "ANCIENT MANUSCRIPTS 101" IN BIBLE COLLEGE.

THEY KNEW ABOUT THE GREEK GRAMMAR AND GREEK WRITINGS. BUT THEY NEVER TOLD THE BOY ABOUT IT. I GOT A CONFESSION FROM SEVERAL PASTORS THAT THEY KNEW THE GREEK GRAMMAR AND DEFINITIIONS FROM BIBLE SCHOOL, AND I QUESTIONED THEM AFTER THE BOY DIED.

I then asked why DIDN'T they tell the boy about JESUS saying in PROPER GRAMMAR that the boy did not commit the unforgivable sin?

THEY ALL SAID THEY DON'T BELIEVE JESUS MEANT "CONTINUALLY" BLASPHEME OR "CONTINUALLY" SPEAK AGAINST. THEY WANTED JESUS TO CONDEMN GUILTY PEOPLE FOR SAYING IT JUST ONCE.

I WAS FURIOUS! THEY WANTED SOMETHING SO FALSE AND NOT SPOKEN, NOT WRITTEN, NOR MEANT BY JESUS, AND WERE WILLING TO DENY PLAIN FACTS IN THE SCRIPTURES IN FRONT OF THEIR VERY EYES (JUST BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO CONDEMN THE PHARISEES!!!).

I ASKED THEM, "WHAT IF ALL OF YOU PASTORS ARE WRONG ABOUT YOUR INTERPRETATION OF WHAT JESUS MEANT?! BECAUSE THE FACT IS: LITERALLY, JESUS SAID ACCORDING TO GREEK GRAMMAR, "CONTINUALLY SPEAK AGAINST," AND "CONTINUALLY BLASPHEME.""

THE PASTORS GOT ANNOYED THAT I WAS TARGETING THEM AND THEY SAID, "IT IS NOT OUR FAULT THAT THE BOY COMMITTED SUIDCIDE."

I SAID, "IT IS YOUR FAULT THAT YOU COULD NOT SAVE THE BOY WITH KNOWLEDGE YOU ALREADY HAD AND YOU ALL REFUSED TO SAVE HIM BECAUSE OF YOUR PERVERSE HYPOCRISY, SELFISHNESS, DENYING THE WORDS OF JESUS, DENYING JESUS, STUBBORNESS, AND PRIDE.

IT IS WRITTEN, "EXCEPT YOU REPENT, YOU SHALL LIKEWISE PERISH!!!"

AND I NEVER LET THOSE PASTORS, LEADERS, AND CHRISTIANS INTO MY PHYSICAL HOUSE EVER AGAIN!

PEOPLE WHO REALLY DON'T RELY AND CARE ABOUT THE VERBATIM WORDS OF JESUS, ARE FULL OF CRAP!

Dear Fellow Believers Who Worry About The Unforgivable Sin OR The Unpardonable Sin OR Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit,

I have posted this link before but THIS HELPED SAVE TWO OF MY BEST BUDDIES PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL LIVES RECENTLY!

This helped SAVE their LIVES FROM MENTAL-ILLNESS DRUGS, SUICIDE, AND A LIFETIME OF BEING TRAPPED BY PSYCHIATRISTS AND HOSPITAL STAYS (MORE LIKE BAKER'S ACT MEDICAL KIDNAPPING)

I found this great resource that details and answers many worries about the unforgivable sin and unpardonable sin.

For those who don't want to look at the resource, I'll summarize part of it in this forum post as best as I can for those needing immediate help.

[SUMMARY]

The is a website of the article is called: UnforgivableSin.org.

The article is: "What is the Unforgivable Sin?"

What is most refreshing about this article as opposed to most of the other sub-par, inadequate answers that other websites, shepherds, prophets, pastors, teachers, and scholars preach and promote is that THIS ARTICLE uses scripture to interpret scripture. EXEGESIS AT ITS FINEST!

This article also uses scripture and plain original GREEK (original language that the Gospels were written in) grammar and meanings to get to a point where the writer's main MESSAGE is that it is DEFINITIVELY, SCRIPTURALLY IMPOSSIBLE for any sincere person or any sincere sinner to commit blasphemy of the holy ghost or Holy Spirit, or SCRIPTURALLY IMPOSSIBLE to commit the " unforgivable or unpardonable " sin.

The article writer's visuals and quotes and emphasis are really helpful to drive this point home, but I'll try to summarize without plagiarizing:

1) The word for "Blaspheming" the Holy Spirit is in present tense in the Bible.

2) Greek present tense verbs often also mean CONTINUALLY AND NEVER STOPPING A VERB ACTION.

3) Thus blaspheming the Holy Spirit (what JESUS meant) is CONTINUALLY AND NEVER EVER STOPPING: BLASPHEMING/CURSING/TALKING BAD/DENYING SUPERNATURAL MIRACLES/DENYING JESUS. If you repent, you can always be forgiven. If you NEVER repent, obviously you can't ever be fully forgiven completely.

DONE!

The website article above quotes the bible verses, has infographics, bolds important words of emphasis, and lays it out in a super elegant way. They go out of their way to prove, using the scriptures like a BEREAN, that the scriptures define and literally say and mean that it is impossible to commit the unforgivable sin.

All the website content is ALL FREE. Such a gem for me that came in a desperate time for my buddies.

May you all be blessed too!

Sincerely,

Well the first thing is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit was attributed to unbelieving Jews.

It wasn't addressed to believers.

So that's the first part of the context.

So it's more about rejecting salvation to begin with than a believer giving up the faith.

1) I'm not sure how the op proves that you "can't commit it"...

2) if someone couldn't commit it, then why would Jesus being it up?

3) if the same word is used of "continually" blaspheming the son- then either you are wrong, or it breaks the verse; because if you continually blaspheme the son; that's not going to be forgiven.... that's rejecting Christ, and you'd die in your sins.

So, just checked the biblehub lex... it's "lego" for both; so I don't see how this linguistic theory works out.... unless you want to argue that you can continually blaspheme Jesus and it will still be forgiven.... good luck with that.

PEOPLE WHO REALLY DON'T RELY AND CARE ABOUT THE VERBATIM WORDS OF JESUS, ARE FULL OF CRAP!

you told me the pastor's said this to boy.

It looks like the pastors gave the boy good advice to me ?.

As I learned in seminary, that article is absolutely correct:
1. If you're concerned or worried about committing it, you haven't committed it, because only unbelievers commit it.
2. You're right that the unforgiveable sin is a long period of unbelieving rebellion against the Holy Spirit and, by the same token, the Father and Jesus, since they are one God.
3. Sadly, at some point known only to God, he says, "Have it your own way." He lets them have their rebellion and its sad consequences.
