God sometimes uses a giant fish to take you where you don’t necessarily want to go but exactly where God needs you to be.
Metaphorically the giant fish has come in many different forms within the testimonies of Christians.
Peter was warned by Jesus of this very truth,
John 21:18-19

18 Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.” 19 (This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, “Follow me.
Peter would be carried to a place of execution, a place no one wants to go. But we know from historical sources, Peter was crucified upside down because he felt unworthy to be crucified the same way as Jesus. His death would glorify God as a martyr's message is often heard more profoundly than those of others.
We may or may not be carried into execution as Peter was but one thing about a faith that promises trials and difficulties, there will be moments when God carries you to where you do not necessarily want to go, but it will be exactly where God needs you to be. In these places, it is often where our will begins to align with His will.
For the Christian even in trials, the alignment with God's will can be a place of joy, hope, courage, peace, and love.
But so often like the soldiers in boot camp, we must be conditioned, disciplined, and in compliance to surrender our identity to align with Christ.
Hebrews 12:11 ESV
For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
