Oh yes, if he defected to the Democrat Party all of a sudden his support would vanish instantly.
Does that mean you personally? Are you a Trump supporter? If so, may I assume from your answer the only reason you support him is because he's Republican?

As I predicted, a lot of people will attempt to dodge the question.
It's real simple, those who voted for Trump feel like they got shafted. They feel that there are one set of laws for Dems another for Trump supporters. They see it every single day, they're tired of it. It's not complicated.

I've never been married. Your turn.
I think it would be helpful if you gave us the line that Biden or Hillary would have had to cross that would cause you to not vote for them?

Trump's the only guy who ran for office who earned my vote while he was in office. It's unlikely that he would do something that would cause me not to vote for him. In 2024 he's the only one I'll vote for for President. I don't see any alternative candidates who aren't already bought and paid for. Even if they manage to lock him up I'll vote for him, even if I have to write his name in on the ballot.

I don't even get the idea of "supporter" this early before an election. I have no idea who I'm voting for, and won't make that decision until well into the primaries.

Mammon worship, cheating workers, self idolatry, abandoning the poor sick and foreign, and embracing lies and hypocrisy are not Christian values. trump embodies all of these, and thus does not get my vote.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit are love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. trump embodies none of these, thus he does not get my vote.

Matthew 24:4-26, 1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Timothy 4:2, Romans 16:7, 2 Peter 2:1, and Mark 13:5 all say false prophets will come in Jesus' Name to deceive the elect. trump claims to be from God, yet is drawing believers away from God's Truths. Thus trump does not get my vote.

Republicans are the false prophets the Bible warns us about. Democrats are how satan gets us to buy into their deceptions. THUS NIETHER MAJOR PARTY GETS MY VOTE.

2 Timothy 2:3 Join me in suffering, like a good soldier of Jesus Christ. :4 A soldier refrains from entangling himself in civilian affairs.

Christians glomming onto trump to usher in a Christian ruler is akin to the Jews asking God for an earthly king. That didn't work out so well for them, and it won't work out well for us.

Democrats deceive the world. Republicans deceive believers.

THAT IS WHY NEITHER PARTY GETS MY VOTE.

I dont live in your country but it is beyond me why so many christians worship the guy. No man is going to fix any country. They are all the same, all corrupt in some way. The only time we are going to have someone perfect in charge is when Jesus returns and with the way the earth is heading it's not too far away.

Oh, I can explain that. The Main Stream Media who now wants to be referred to as the legacy media is terrified of a populist movement. They have worked tirelessly to discredit a populist movement.

Hillary called them "deplorable and irredeemable" that didn't work.

When Trump was President they had the Russia hoax and a 3 year Mueller investigation that concluded this was all a matter of dirty political tricks from Hillary Clinton, but they immediately switched from the "where there is smoke there is fire" proof that allegations of Trump now means he must be guilty to two impeachments. Both of those also failed. But they have some of the most cunning and subtle consultants who know how to spread poison. One of the things they tell people who are too lazy to go see for themselves what is really going on is that these people "worship" him. Obviously such a pathetic and clearly transparent attack on him only works on the laziest people.

The real question that any person with a brain would ask would be "if they found a bag of cocaine in the Whitehouse when Trump was president would they have come back a few weeks later and said we can't figure out whose that is?" How about if they found a bag of cocaine in any of the deplorable's houses, would they say "can't figure out who that belongs to"? If they had Don jr.s laptop a year before the election would the FBI have kept the numerous felonies secret?

Some Trump supporters would disagree with you.
who? I listen to Steve Bannon's Warroom pandemic, he is about the strongest supporter of Trump in the media. He has made it very clear he is aware of Trump's shortcomings, and Trump is not in any, way, shape or form a "savior" figure. The only thing he or Trump claim is that they are bringing vengeance, not salvation.

What are we electing then?
We're electing a President. This is the stated religion of the declared GOP candidates (most are Christian):

Donald Trump - Non-denominational Evangelical
Ron DeSantis - Roman Catholic
Mike Pence - Evangelical Catholic
Nikki Haley - Methodist
Tim Scott - Non-denominational Evangelical
Ryan Binkley - Non-denominational Evangelical (Pastor)
Doug Burgum - Unknown
Chris Christie - Roman Catholic
Larry Elder - Christian (Calvary Chapel)
Will Hurd - Unknown
Asa Hutchinson - Christian
Perry Johnson - Non-denominational Evangelical
Vivek Ramaswamy - Hindu
Francis Suarez - Christian

Saying "X is a Christian" doesn't really reduce the field much. We don't need a President to be "a Christian", but to support and pursue Christian principles (pro-life, anti-child mutilation) and defend freedoms for Christians which is the ability to live out our faith through worship AND work.

Democrat candidates are summarily excluded because they because they, by nature and practice, are militantly opposed to Christianity.
