We cling to all of this while upholding false prophets.

Read Galatians real quick and you will see that Christianity was never supposed to be this way.
yeah I don’t know friend that I uphold any false prophets myself or anyone else I know does Galatians three is a great chapter there are a lot of great chapters in the Bible

but there’s no other teacher who replaces this guy

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:45‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and nothing or no one replaces or changes this word it’s life

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

sits bekief of the gospel that’s already preached and established in the earth that saves people we aren’t creating and altering just believing and sharing the saving and eternal message that Jesus spoke forth for life everlasting to all believers just basically pointing people to Jesus and what he had to say and what he did saves people who hear it

trying to re create and soften or add to and make harder the message won’t help we should make sure the preachers re preaching the word of God he ordained for life

God is a Spirit which His substance has no association with physical matter, and all other things have an association with physical matter, and was created.

God is an omnipresent Spirit that fills all space, and made nothing out of the substance of His Spirit.

Angels are considered spiritual, and the saints will receive a spiritual body, and although it is invisible to the human eye it is still made up of physical matter for God created everything from physical matter.

God is the only being that is truly spiritual with no physical connection.

The Bible says all spirits go back to God who gave them which is our connection to Him but it is still made of the physical although transparent to the human eye.

Saturday 7-22-23 7th. Day Of The Weekly Cycle, AV 4 5783, 32nd. Summer Day

Colossians 1

Paul's Greeting To The Colossians

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul's Thanksgiving For The Colossians

3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

7 As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

8 Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

Paul's Prayer For The Colossians

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Christ Is Preeminent In Creation

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Christ Is Preeminent In Redemption

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Christ Is Preeminent In The Church

24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Tuesday 4-25-23 3rd. Day Of The Weekly Cycle, Iyar 4 5783, 37th. Spring Day

Jesus’ declaration that “God is Spirit” is the conclusion of his continued attempts to lift her vision off the physical. Off her gender limitations. Off racial divisions. Off religious conflicts. He goes from the unseen within her, her own heart, and her failed attempts to have a secure and loving relationship, to the unseen reality of who God is.

Why did Jesus say that God is spirit?Jesus said this to a woman who thought that physical locale has a bearing on proper worship of God. The fact that God is spirit means that God the Father does not have a human body. God the Son came to earth in human form ( John 1:1 ), but God the Father did not.
What does it mean that God is spirit?
The teaching that “God is spirit” is found in John 4:24: “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” Jesus said this to a woman who thought that physical locale has a bearing on proper worship of God.

The fact that God is spirit means that God the Father does not have a human body. God the Son came to earth in human form (John 1:1), but God the Father did not. Jesus is unique as Emmanuel, “God with us” (Matthew 1:23). Numbers 23:19 emphasizes God’s truthfulness by contrasting Him with mortal men: “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind.”

Some question why the Bible sometimes speaks of God as if He has a body. For example, Isaiah 59:1 mentions God’s “hand” and “ear.” Second Chronicles 16:9 speaks of God’s “eyes.” Matthew 4:4 puts words in God’s “mouth.” In Deuteronomy 33:27 God has “arms.” All of these verses are examples of anthropomorphism—a way of describing God with anatomical or emotional terms so that humans can better understand Him. The use of anthropomorphism, a form of figurative language, does not imply that God has an actual body.

To say that God is spirit is to say that God the Father is invisible. Colossians 1:15 calls God the “invisible God.” First Timothy 1:17 praises God, saying, “To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.”

Even though God is spirit, He is also a living, personal being. As such, we can know Him personally. Joshua 3:10 speaks of God in this way, saying, “You will know that the living God is among you.” Psalm 84:2 declares, “My heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God” (ESV).

Philosophically, God must be a spirit in order to be infinite. Also, if God was limited to a physical body, He could not be omnipresent (in all places at once). God the Father is not limited to the dimensional restrictions of created things but can exist in all places at one time. God is the uncreated First Cause that is the power behind all other beings.

Interestingly, in John 4:24 Jesus makes the connection between God being spirit and worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. The idea is that, since God is spirit, people must worship Him accurately (in truth) and in spirit (with their soul or heart), as opposed to relying on traditions, rituals, and physical locales.

Is God spirit or truth?God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth" ( John 4:23–24 ). Jesus was a person with a physical body, and He was God on earth ( John 1:1 ).
God is spirit – What does that mean? - Christian Truth

Anthropomorphism is "the attribution of human characteristics or behavior to a god, animal, or object." The Bible frequently utilizes this approach, ascribing human-like physical qualities to God. It mentions his eyes (2 Chronicles 16:9), mouth (Matthew 4:4), arm and hand (Psalm 89:13), and ear (Isaiah 59:1). This frequent use of anthropomorphism does not imply that God has a physical body, but it enables us to better understand His character and actions by viewing them through a lens that makes sense to us.

Love, Walter and Debbie
Thanks Walter and Debbie for reminding the believers "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. " (KJV) This is a very important message, since many persons interpret scripture in a very physical way, when it is really meant to provide a picture of the spiritual. They think of Jerusalem as a physical city like you could find on a map, rather than as the group of true believers. They think of Jews as physical cultural Jews, rather than as believers generally. They think of the mountain of the Lord's house as being a physical mountain rather than as the kingdom of the Lord, and so forth. That is why Jesus had to explain to the Jews of his day about his body being the temple, not the physical temple made of earthly stone. They were looking for a very physical type of king and kingdom. But Jesus said, "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. " In other words, he was speaking of a spiritual kingdom. Most importantly, God makes connection with us, as you have pointed out, by the spirit, in this spiritual kingdom.

I notice that you mention a few times about God's hand, and mouth, and eyes and so forth. You say, "Some question why the Bible sometimes speaks of God as if He has a body. The use of anthropomorphism, a form of figurative language, does not imply that God has an actual body."

While I can see your reasoning, it is important to remember that God uses language in the Bible very specifically. For example, God's 'hand' in the Bible is usually or always talking about Jesus. We read, "Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. " Jesus is the one who is effectively God's right hand: "But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? "

I will not say that this is not describing God the father because Jesus said that he and the father are one. However, to only attribute this term to God the father is to miss it's emphasis on Jesus, I think. The same might be said for the term 'mouth', which emphasizes the word of God, which is also Jesus. And so forth. It is a bit of a moot point if you consider that God is one, which is the case. However, we wouldn't want to miss the fact that Jesus is the method God is using in such scriptures, and it is Jesus in these cases who is being referenced.

The fact that God is spirit means that God the Father does not have a human body.
"Spirit" should be capitalized. God is BOTH "A Spirit" (a spirit being) and simply "Spirit" (not limited to one location, and yet seated on His throne). At the same time God the Father seated on His throne is shown to have a Spirit body. And one could rightly call it "a Spirit body" since angels also have spirit bodies. He is called "the Ancient of Days" in Daniel 7, and Ezekiel 1 in Revelation 4 & 5 we also see His Spirit body.

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. (Dan 7:9)

And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. (Ezek 1:26)

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals... And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. (rev 5:1,6,7)

While these visions may seem anomalous, we need to remember that this is God, who has no human limitations. So He is BOTH (a) Spirit, (b) A Spirit, and (c) one with a Spirit body.
