Do you feel the end times are here now? Do you question your role or are you just waiting to be taken up? Do you know that all the calamity happening around the world is Yehovah's works of wrath on a disobedient, rebellious world? Do you know it is prophesied to just continue to get worse and worse? Are you ready? Don't call the calamities Mother Earth or Gaia. Don't blame it on Satan. Blame only yourselves and for your rebellion.

Isaiah 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold,
the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Isaiah 33:22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written,

We have been in the last days since Jesus walked this world.
Jesus Foretells Destruction of the Temple
Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Mat 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Signs of the End of the Age
Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The Abomination of Desolation
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mat 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mat 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Mat 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.
Mat 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
The Coming of the Son of Man
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
The Lesson of the Fig Tree
Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
No One Knows That Day and Hour
Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Mat 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Mat 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Mat 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Mat 24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Mat 24:47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
Mat 24:48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
Mat 24:49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
Mat 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
Mat 24:51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

If this is true...

What do you make of this...

Gal, 5:4 You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.
The problem was that false teachers were saying that one could be “justified by the law.”

They were teaching that God’s grace could be earned through rituals/religious conversion.

The problem was a misuse of God’s Law, not God’s Law itself.
Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

I've said if before and it is worth saying again. Salvation through Yeshua/Jesus is the root of our faith. Being obedient to the Torah/being obedient to God/YHWH is the fruit of our salvation.

Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

While many torah-observant folk say what you're saying but Scripture makes it clear that Jesus fulfilled all the Law... not just rituals and such. The whole law.

Jesus said in Matt. 5:17:
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Have you tested the word "fulfill"?

G4137
πληρόω
plēroō
play-ro’-o
From G4134; to make replete, that is, (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (figuratively) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.: - accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply.

As a Rabbi, Yeshua gave clarity to the law. He said a man who looks at a woman with lust, has committed adultery. Before that, the law of adultery was an act of sexual intercourse by married persons. That is just one example. Another example is Yeshua/Jesus said:

Matthew 5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.
41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

“...But Jesus fulfilled the whole law of God so I don’t have to.” This statement clearly makes the mistake of not realizing that it is a blessing to keep a law of God. There are many places in the Bible just to prove this. See Psalm 119.

Paul also teaches in Romans 8 that it’s the fleshly minded that think this way, but those who are spiritual love the law of God.

Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

So, what if someone implies that it is a good thing that the law of God was removed by our Messiah? So, what are we to do with such a response from professed believers?

Sometimes Matthew 5 is cited in this belief. The word “fulfilled” and Matthew 5:17 are either interpreted as being fulfilled in the sense of fully preaching or teaching the law of God, or fulfilled in the sense of no longer making the law of God applicable. Those are our choices.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Interpreting fulfill as meaning that the law is no longer applicable makes absolutely no sense in light of the next two verses in which it is stated nothing will change until heaven and earth disappear. Then, Yeshua/Jesus, even goes on listing consequences if anyone practices and teaches even the least of the commandments are no longer applicable.

Matthew 5:18-19 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever, therefore, breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

So, if we choose for the word “fulfill” in verse 17 to mean that the whole law of God is no longer going to be applicable to believers, here’s what we have Yeshua/Jesus saying:

In verse 17, “I come not to destroy the law but to make it no longer applicable.”

Verse 18, “but until heaven and earth pass, every jot or tittle of the law still stands.”

Verse 19, “Even though the law of God is no longer going to be applicable as stated in verse 17, anyone teaching that the whole law of God is no longer applicable will be least in the kingdom.”

That definition of fulfill in verse 17 just doesn’t seem to work in any way possible. This means that “fulfilled” in Matthew 5:17, the Greek word “pleroo,” must mean to fully preach or fully teach the law of God and cannot teach that any part of the law of God is no longer applicable because it would then render verses 18 and 19 as irrelevant or even contradictory.

Obviously Yeshua/Jesus did not say in verse 17 that He intends to fulfill the whole law of God that it is no longer applicable and then immediately proceed to tell us that it is applicable to us, at least until heaven and earth pass away.

And then, as if that was not enough, then proceed in the very next verse to say that there are eternal consequences to the believer for teaching and practicing that even the least of the Commandments are no longer applicable. That would make either Yeshua/Jesus schizophrenic or insane.

How could the law of God be removed and not be removed at the same time? And, if the law of God was removed by Him fulfilling it, then why would there be negative consequences that would result if someone teaches and practices that some of the commandments no longer apply?

Obviously, that does not make sense, so the answer is clear.

This is about as easy as it gets, despite what one might believe about Paul and we already know that Peter said that Paul is perhaps the most difficult teacher to understand as it relates to matters of God’s law. Yet, how many want to run to his writings thinking they understand Paul taught the whole law of God is no longer applicable?

Meaning this, Yeshua/Jesus did not come to destroy the law or make it no longer applicable. Instead, He came to fully teach us the law of God. This should make much more sense considering the fact that Yeshua/Jesus spent His whole ministry teaching and practicing what Moses already wrote as the Father’s Word. Even teaching in Mark chapter 7 that nullifying what Moses wrote is a very bad thing to do. But let’s suppose we ignore all that and that verses 18 and 19 of Matthew 5 no longer exist. How else would we
know that it does not make much sense to believe that when Yeshua/Jesus said in Matthew 5 that He came to fulfill the whole law of God in the sense that He did not mean that we no longer have to do it anymore?

Well, one clear reason beyond all the context offered is the fact that Yeshua/Jesus did not do the whole law of God. And, He never will. Yeshua/Jesus did not fulfill the whole law of God in the sense of actually doing the whole law of God. That is not possible. There are commandments that are only for women. And Yeshua/Jesus , He will never do those. There are commandments that are only for farmers, and Yeshua was not a farmer. There are commandments for the judges, the Sanhedrin, and Yeshua is not part of them. There are commandments for the Levites, and Yeshua was not a Levite.

Yeshua/Jesus did not come to fulfill the whole law of God by doing the whole law of God so that we don’t have to. Yeshua did not do the whole law of God and He never will.

The only thing “fulfill” can mean in Matthew 5:17 is that He came to fully teach the whole Word of God as truth. This is the exact same word used Matthew 3:15 “But Jesus (Yeshua) answered and said to him permit it to be so now for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.”

So, if Matthew 5:17 means that Yeshua/Jesus fulfilled the whole law of God so that we do not have to, does that mean that Yeshua/Jesus also fulfill practicing all righteousness so that we no longer have to practice righteousness? Obviously not.

1 John 2:29 “If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.”

1 John 3:7 “Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous just as He is righteous.”

1 John 3:10 “In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest. Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God nor is he who does not love his brother.”

G1343 dikaiosunē
From G1342; equity (of character or act); specifically (Christian) justification: - righteousness.

Actually, the word fulfilled means fully satisfied and it is referring to the law.

Take, for instance, the law concerning adultery. It has both a positive and negative aspect. There are both things we are not to do and things we are to to. In fulfilling the law, Jesus always did all the law required and never the things that would transgress the law. In this way, He kept the righteousness which is of the law and fulfilled it.

(from: Pleroo Meaning - New Testament Greek Lexicon (NAS) (biblestudytools.com) )

  1. to make full, to fill up, i.e. to fill to the full
    1. to cause to abound, to furnish or supply liberally
      1. I abound, I am liberally supplied
  2. to render full, i.e. to complete
    1. to fill to the top: so that nothing shall be wanting to full measure, fill to the brim
    2. to consummate: a number
      1. to make complete in every particular, to render perfect
      2. to carry through to the end, to accomplish, carry out, (some undertaking)
    3. to carry into effect, bring to realisation, realise
      1. of matters of duty: to perform, execute
      2. of sayings, promises, prophecies, to bring to pass, ratify, accomplish
      3. to fulfil, i.e. to cause God's will (as made known in the law) to be obeyed as it should be, and God's promises (given through the prophets) to receive fulfilment

I think that we are shown by many other Scriptures in the N.T., that these more common usages of the word are how Jesus was using it. And they all show us that the Torah is obsolete, passing away, were a shadow of Christ, and were fulfilled in Christ, and replaced with a better Covenant. You can keep digging for nonsensical answers, and they are nonsense given that Scripture not only informs us that the Torah is obsolete, but also warns us not to go back to it in that verse from Galatians given earlier.

You claim that you believe that Jesus is the root of your faith, but you preach the Old (obsolete) Covenant... when Scripture has told you not to?

"O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?" Galatians 3:1-3

So, what if someone implies that it is a good thing that the law of God was removed by our Messiah?
You simply do not understand why the New Covenant replaced the Old Covenant. So unless you are prepared to do your due diligence and study the matter very carefully, you will simply go round and round. Your handle should be "Law911".

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity = G458 ἀνομία

Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Isaiah 33:22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written,
KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. < Who is this? Yehovah or Yeshua?

This is exactly why we need to get dead serious about our walk with him and why we need to spread the kingdom with every word every post every action every deed the kingdom of God is at hand and a chosen generation will bring it here people will know why he is God.

Be prepared stand your ground steel yourselves because calamity comes first before the blessing and we are going to have to trust him utterly to be our provider to be our protector and to stand with him and not just pray or be lazy in what he commanded us to do.

We were commanded to serve him to go and make disciples to obey every word he has spoken. He requires children who chase after him diligently refusing to accept anything but the truth forr he is the truth

I myself can testify death has almost had me many times this year but Jesus would not allow it, I have personally seen how he defends his children with afeiry wrath against the forces of hell. he is the answer and we need to understand what it actually neans to seek the truth because the truth is going to be required in order to survive what is coming.

Pick up your pen my child for things must be spoken to the chosen generation. Listen well and put forth your rod to embark on what is to come for it is the glory of God to conceal but the honor of kins to seek it. An anointing of my spirit is ready to be poured it shall come upon them in those days a s a rain of liquid fire a single drop shall fall upon their heads and they will be endowed with my spirit the likes of which this world has not seen. my beloved fear not what you are to write for you are my spokesmen to the chosen generation, fear not the role you have been given for you asked to have great faith and great faith will it require to write what is to be written.

Fear not the ridicule and accusation that may come your way for I am with you and will hold you safely in my arms. A prophet knows not what they speak at the time a word is given but they follow the flow of the spirit and my chosen ones that I have made for myself are waiting they can feel inside a calling an urgant sense of something on the horizon and they will see that day and will do mighty works they shall see my wonders and live in the conform of my haven that I have set apart for them. Comfort one another with these words and be encouraged bring that spark back into your weary hearts and ignite that fire that once consumed you for your time is coming a time I have set you apart for and great honor and treasures await those who have been called for such a time.
For the Lord has created for himself a new generation a mighty warriors an army of his love and salvation .

The day is coming when you shall taste the fruits of my domain your lips shall never tremble your tongue never parched your belly never empty neither shall you be inflicted by the sickness of the flesh and neither shall you know the pain that this world has brought to you. Cry out in unison for revival speak of the wonders that shall be your footstool come together as one heart and in accord together for you know it in your spirit you feel it in your bones a surging of my chosen will be as lightning coursing through your veins

My cherished ones you have no clue as to how grand this will be, you have only a mere idea of the level in which you shall walk in my spirit. Wait only a little longer my children forI am coming quickly and my reward is with me.

#1) Bible Principles - if you do not believe Moses and the prophets - you will not understand or believe Yeshua/Jesus.

Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he (Yeshua/Jesus) expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

#2) Bible Principles - John 10:30 I and my Father are one. Jer_3:23 Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD/YHWH our God is one LORD:
6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
John 5:42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
1 John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Jonah 2:9 Salvation H3444/Yeshua is of the LORD/YHWH. H3068
Isaiah 52:10 The LORD/YHWHH3068 hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations;/Gentiles H1471 and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation/Yehsua H3444 of our God.
Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
#3) Bible Principles - The New Covenant is for the House of Israel and the House of Judah and for any Gentiles who join with the commonwealth of Israel. (Jeremiah 31 and Hebrews 8)

#4) Bible Principles - The LORD changes not and Yeshua/Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

#5) Bible Principles - You cannot add or diminish from the Torah.

This is a commandment that Yeshua pointed to those who keep their man-made traditions (paradosis=666) and make void the Word. of God Christians cling to a man-made tradition "the law is done away with and we don't have to read it, know it, or cling to that - we are lawless and no not we are condemned"
1 Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

These five Bible Principles are not my man-made idea, but is straight from the Bible, both Tanak and New Testament. If you read a verse and take it to mean something that contradicts these FIVE PRINCIPLES i've outlined here - then you need to keep studying and quit pointing to those who do understand and walk in these Principles.

Psalns 119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Proverbs 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

What is Torah?
By Jeff A. Benner

The Hebrew word תורה (torah, Strong's #8451) is usually translated into the English word "Law". Because of this translation there is a great misunderstanding of what "Torah" truly is. "TORAH IS NOT LAW". When we use the word "law" we assume a certain meaning and concept of the word that is not present in the Hebrew Scriptures.

Let us start by looking at the Etymology of the Hebrew word Torah so that we may better understand its true definition. The word Torah comes from the Hebrew root word ירה (Y.R.H, Strong's #3384), a verb which means "to flow or throw something".

This can be a flowing of an arrow from an archer's bow, or the flowing of a finger to point out a direction. Nouns are derived from the verb by making one or two changes to the verb root. For instance, when the י (the letter yud) is replaced by a ו (the letter vav) and a מ (the letter mem) is added to the front of the word, the noun מורה (moreh, Strong's #4175) is formed and means "one who does the flowing".

This can be an archer who flows an arrow, or a teacher who flows his finger to point out way the student is to go in the walk of life. Another noun is formed the same way except that a ת (the letter tav) is placed at the front of the word instead of a מ (the letter mem) and we have the word Torah. Torah is "what is flowed by the Moreh". This can be the arrow from the archer or the teachings and instructions from the teacher.

A hebraic definition of Torah is "a set of Instructions, from a father to his children, violation of these instructions are disciplined in order to foster obedience and train his children". Notice how the word Torah is translated in the New International Version translation in the following passages.

"Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching [Torah]." (Proverbs 1:8)

"My son, do not forget my teaching [Torah], but keep my commands in your heart". (Proverbs 3:1)

The purpose of a parents Torah is to teach and bring the children to maturity. If the Torah is violated out of disrespect or defiant disobedience, the child is punished. If the child desires to follow the instructions out of a loving obedience but falls short of the expectations, the child is commended for the effort and counseled on how to perform the instructions better the next time.

Unlike Torah, law is a set of rules from a government and binding on a community. Violation of the rules require punishment. With this type of law, there is no room for teaching, either the law was broken with the penalty of punishment or it was not broken. God, as our heavenly Father, gives his children his Torah in the same manner as parents give their Torah to their children, not in the manner as a government does to its citizens.

"Blessed is the man you discipline, O LORD, the man you teach from your Torah" (Psalms 94:12)
