I kind of see both sentiments here. Yes, it's a silly marketing ploy designed to get a buzz, and therefore, customers. But, the last thing we need is making a joke out of something that will enslave billions, and make life very difficult for the rest.

As interesting as it sounds, I won't be going to a Carl's anytime soon.

Unbelievers think it is all a bit of a joke. One of my neighbours has a personalised number plate with 666 as the last 3 digits. It grates on me every time he goes past in his car. Some people delight in the shock value they imagine they have by embracing symbols of evil. There is little new here. It is coming out more openly, that is for sure.
