About nz music...May is NZ music month and we are always chuffed when others hear us sing/dance/perfom hence pride when the All Blacks do their haka and in our national anthem 'God defend New Zealand'

God does defend NZ by making it islands far far away from everyone else and surrounding it with ocean...
Nuclear power is banned (despite Ernest Rutherford, a nzer, splittng the atom)

In regards to scenery yes watching whales now is a pastime (instead of what people used to do, which was hunt them down and kill them)
or just walking on the beach, sailing, climbing a mountain or seeing a volcano erupt
Though many nzers drive way too fast to appreciate scenery. Unless they are stuck in Auckland traffic. The you have scenic views of the Auckland harbour while queuing with all the other cars on the harbour bridge. Now they are building more tunnels for trains to go underground, so that you dont see any scenery at all.

If you love scenery the thing to do is head to Milford Sound (also via a tunnel) and wear plenty of insect repellent cos the sandflies will bite you. You may not be able to see that much because it rains nearly every day though but on a good day the mountains reach the sea because this part of NZ is called Fiordland where NZ mountains drowned in the flood.

Scripture in song was one of NZ's best exports. I still sing those choruses around the house.
As for Hillsong, not in the same league. Lite on theology.

Ive been listening to spiritual combat scripture in song. Its on tape in my car. The CD player doesnt work lol

I had the 50 year anniversary album but I think they over produced it so it just became a perfomance, I could hear the difference. It wasnt anointed...soulful, but not spiritual.

I borrowed a book from the library its called $-&! towns of New Zealand tiki tour.
It a listing of all the terrible tourist traps NZ is known for. I dont really know what to say.....

But its all true, you CAN visit a world famous public toilet in nz. But why? I suppose if you need to go, you need go to go.

Hundertwasser toilets in Kawakawa.

People of New Zealand is a book with pictures of People of New Zealand, which is semi-interesting if you like character studies.

Otherwise if you are holding any world cup sporting event, like Womens football, gumboot throwing, marathon running, round the world yachting, Sheep shearing or car racing, NZ is the most far away destination you can find.

We'd be happy to host you provided you spend lots of money coming here.
