wasnt referring to you

John DB often writes questionable things on here that need to be questioned.
its is very rare for any woman to be engaged from age 2 these days most women are encourgaed to have lots of boyfriends just as many men go round asking out every women they meet. Anyone in their 20s who has been out and about is fair game thats the way it is in the world and even in workplaces. Married or unmarried, it doesnt seem to matter, many men just do not respect women.

the sad thing about the fiance is she is interpreting what actually may be innocent to be a come on or pass to other women by her fiance.

This does not mean that the fiance is a town bicycle. ?!
And according to you you ALWAYS are respectful of men?
While you are actively disrespecting them?
And arguing with Paul who tells women to respect their husband's as if they usually do?

Actually the reverse is extremely true....women usually do not respect men. They usually keep secrets from their men they should share and blab things about their men they should keep secret.

it is a stupid analogy anyway there are no such things as town bicycles in my town. I dont like the innuendo on here.

also that is not helpful to the OP or his fiance, who really needs assurance that he has chosen her and her alone.

Jealousy can be a good thing but it can also ruin relationships when people become suspicious of each other. When you are engaged you do need to show a bit of restraint towards others of the opposite sex. Because the vow that you may make is 'forsaking all others' to focus on your spouse.

Lets have a reality check. Noone who is married should be 'checking out' anyone other than their spouse.

give it a rest John..stop projecting.
Dont be bitter, be better.

You cannot control a woman. It is clear women have minds of their own and you dont like that.

I'm not bitter....
I am enthusiastically happily married to a wonderful woman. She is me and I am She and each of us is a "We".

In Oz things may be different from the US but not extremely so. The modern "Women's Empowerment " movement has destroyed the family from starting and is actively seeking to destroy the existing families.

Just because you or I am not involved in such things doesn't mean that it's not been happening and is currently happening. Or that women have temporarily have decided that they want a traditional relationship instead.

And that's the real question to be answered.
Does a person have a track record of being capable of participating in a stable relationship? (desire does NOT count)

Guys do more often than women. Not all guys are "dogs". Men who are "dogs" account for less than 25% of all men. Most just want stable relationships if they want a relationship at all. (Despite the press otherwise)
Many have decided they just don't want the hassle and have given up on finding a decent woman.
(Maybe a few on this site)

And unless things change drastically here soon....there's not going to be a next generation.

oh dear slut shamed on CC

whats new?

How about put yourself in a females shoes for once guys and maybe have a bit of empathy

How many women here have been harassed by men from the age they start menstruating? How about 100% have been taken for a ride that we did NOT initiate.

How many have been sexually propositioned IN CHURCH by predators?
I agree. Some men should try imagining what it is like living in a body which is significantly smaller than the one they have whenever they’re being out of line towards women. It’s not much fun being in a cab and the driver starts asking for your number and then wants to meet you afterwards. What can you say? You don’t want to insult him nor make him mad, but you’re stuck in that car with him. I think it’s a violation of my privacy.

i was a touring rock drummer in the 80's & 90's & it could be said that musicians have the biggest chance to misbehave. you've heard of it before from musicians about the girls, alcohol & drugs. as for me, hhhhmmmmmmm! was i a good guy about it or did i partake of every opportunity? i'll keep you waiting. why not keep the suspense alive? hahahahaha! the truth is i almost always behaved. out of all those years only 1 week did i totally misbehave. after 1 week i said to myself, "this isn't right" stop doing this. & i did have the strength & quit after 1 week.

This is fascinating!

John loves to stereotype single people and women while declaring his marriage and being married the bestest ever, certainly heads and tails above us single people. Lanolin is always stereotyping men and talking about marriage as legal slavery.

A match made in... Something. Not made in Heaven, but it seems destined to be.

I don't care about rock drummers or what you did @Karlon

Lord knows if He has saved you - then you know what the right thing to do is.

I was reading this book written by Private Investigator, and he said that he was always investigating rock bands and gigs for women who were trying to find out how to trace the fathers of their love children.

It takes no great talent to drum really...anyone can bash a drum with a stick and keep the beat. They even have automatic drum machines these days so there's no really no need for a human drummer. I don't quite understand why women would be attracted to one lol

Regarding the drummer part. I think women, especially young women, are drawn to the men dominant in the particular setting. At a place where a band is playing that band will be their center of the universe. Same goes for college football, NASCAR, university, motorcycles, flashy cars and whatnot.

On several occasions I’ve heard men say they don’t understand women because we are so complicated. I think men would be mighty surprised if they were aware of how simpleminded most of us are.

You've never been to a church and heard a drummer playing poorly? Not everyone can play the drums well.

But yes, there seems to be a lot about women you don't understand...

Fortunately drumming is not the only thing that is automated. With smartphones and internet, we don't need librarians anymore either.:sneaky:

Note to self: If you ever think of asking for relationship help on the board, get your head examined.

If you ask for relationship advice you will probably get at least two hundred completely different answers. Sometimes its better to figure it out for yourself with the help of the Holy Spirit.

I find her seeming contempt for men oddly attractive.

I THINK I AM IN L:love:VE!

lol.
Hmm... Good luck with that.

In the meantime I'm on amazon.com selling antacids and ibuprophen in bulk lots. I can cut you a good deal when... er, if you need some.

After one date with me, she would transition from being a librarian to a best-selling author.

I can see the title of her book before my eyes...

I used to hate men...and then I met Prince Charming.

lol.

its because they sitting down in the middle of the stage and have two big sticks perhaps. The drumkit is a massive operation that they have to lug from place to place.

If they dont have a drumkit that makes a headache of a noise, it will be the noisiest, biggest car that attracts simpleminded women lol

Im like its ok, I can walk.
also, most songs dont actually really need a drummer, people can just clap their hands or stamp their feet

I'm a little convinced if more women knew how to drive, or were more savvy about how to get home, they wouldnt get themselves in stupid life or death situations where they had no choice but to rely on a drunk or stoned male driver.
