I lift my thoughts to you in prayer
Yet so often they drift away
The ache of absence made me aware
Of longing for you presence to stay

My body made from soil and dust
Grows out its prayers of only wood
In thousand ways I spoil the trust
Yet you work everything for good

Your absence too has its silent voice
It calls to follow the shrouded longing
Small light guides through world's darkest noise
Love holds to the promise of belonging

If your spirit does not enliven
Dust returns to its earthy source
Though eternity's assurance is given
My life must still run its earthly course

The ending of this poem may seem a little bit abrupt and unresolved, but I think that's also the reality of where we often find ourselves in our longing for eternity in our lives. So while I considered adding something more, I decided to end the poem this way.

Wow, what a reaction! I'm happy if the poem touched your heart. May God bless you abundantly, brother.

i see what others don't ironicly being legally blind. I don't give credit where it isn't due I am also currently wanting to write a book with him and I honestly think you should too

your words are abnormal they are strange different but remember that anyone who has ever made their name in history wasn't normal they were seen as strange and this is much with God look at Jesus see how he didn't fit what was expected how he rebelled against the norm

your words are meant for more than this site

Thank you so much. I actually just created a YouTube channel and posted this poem as my first video there. Here it is.

ooh please tell me what it is I myself have been considering this I used to do this thing where I would use a random verse generater and write write a poem based on that sadly technology is my achiles heel so I am not good at doing it but I know if I could and if I could get someone anyone to help me I could give and give abundently do you know if you could help me understand how it works?

My poems alone have almost been published except they said it would cost five thousand dollars my poems clearly affect people the word of God clearly resides in them but I have brain damage twice in the same spot so certain things I canbot do on my own I refuse to accept these poems are just for a mere spark I know I was given this gift for a reason

I used ElevenLabs https://elevenlabs.io/ to convert text to speech (used the voice called Callum). One can use it for free with a somewhat limited daily quota.

Also YouTube Movie Maker https://www.makeyoutubevideo.com/ (I used the free version). I hadn't really used it before yesterday, so I don't even know that much about how it works yet. The site (linked above) where it can be downloaded also has some kind of guide that could be useful.

I'm not sure where I got the background image, perhaps it was pexels.com

I used some other software as well when I added the text directly to images, but I don't think that was the best way to do it. Probably it would have been easier to do the text directly in YouTube Movie Maker as well. I have yet to figure it out as I'm new to that program.
