Rev 17:9
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (KJV)

Below we see that this woman sits upon the peoples, all the peoples (the sea — the waters = the peoples):

Rev 17:15
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. (KJV)

Mystery Babylon is that woman:

Rev 14:8
8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication [religious adultery]. (KJV)

Scripture then tells us that the woman is the great city (Jerusalem):

Rev 17:18
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. (KJV)

We see Jerusalem referred to as that great city even in the Old Testament:

Jer 22:8
8 And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city? (KJV)

Finally, Scriptures nails down, without any room for doubt, the exact location and thus the identity of the great city:

Rev 11:8
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. (KJV)

And after the end of this age, after the great Judgment Day, after the old things are done away with, after all evil and evil doers are cast into the Lake of Fire (commonly referred to as 'going to hell'), the new Heaven and new earth (commonly referred to as Heaven) is identified as the great city Jerusalem (rejuvenated and with God present):

Rev 21:10
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, (KJV)

America is not Babylon! America is the greatest Christian nation existing, had not God so blessed America (and her brother nation Great Britain) the world would not have any Christian nations left. This was done by God's good pleasure and His design, we are strong and feared militarily worldwide, and because of that, Christianity has been allowed to exist globally. if you remove Great Britain and America from the history of the world, Christianity would have long ago become not. But God was and is always in control.

Sadly though, the end-time Jerusalem shall be Babylon, God's holy city wholly trodden under and defiled; for it is there that the antitype to the 'King of Babylon,' i.e., (antichrist/satan/dragon/serpent/devil/son of perdition/man of sin/ &c. — many names, same entity — see Gen 3:15, Rev 12:9, Rev 20:2, &c.) shall sit and rule the world:

II Th 2:2-4
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ [the Second Advent] is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come [the Second Advent], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition [the antichrist];
4 Who [the antichrist] opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (KJV)

There is only one place on the planet that would contain the "the temple of God," that is Jerusalem, that great city. For satan shall sit there imitating the Lord (as the antichrist, the instead-of christ), no other place would do, for satan is vain and proud and shall seek to become as God; he will not set up some cheap temple in some second-rate city anywhere else in the world, he will reign (falsely) from Jerusalem, that great city, "shewing himself that he is God."

In prophecy, America is Manasseh and Israel, as Britain is Ephraim and Israel in prophecy — they are brothers who received the blessings from their father Joseph (by God's approval & design), see Gen 48:8-22. Israel is wherever the Israel peoples are.

In prophecy, 'Jerusalem' and 'Judah' and 'Zion' are the location of modern day Israel (in Palestine). The reason being that the Israel peoples are not now in the modern day Israel of the Middle East, they (true Israel) are in the places whence they were scattered (America, Great Britain, &c.). The people currently in the modern day state of Israel are not the Biblical Israel peoples, they are mostly (not all!) impostors of the house of Edom (Esau & Kenites & Khazars &c.), mixed in with some of true Judah. They are mostly (not all!) the people spoken of below:

Rev 3:9
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. (KJV)

Rev 2:9
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. (KJV)

You are partially correct.

"Babylon" is Jerusalem.

You are way off though in regards to America and Great Britain. Far from being godly nations, they are the two horned beast of Revelation chapter 13.

Isaiah 59:21, “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” said יהוה: “My Spirit that is upon you, and My Words that I have put in your mouth, shall not be withdrawn from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” said יהוה, “from this time and forever.”

America, is merely part of an unwritten form of Prophecy fulfilled in the era of the Gentile Reign. It will crash and burn because it will separate herself from God, which, she already has. But, America, was just part of God's Plan by Spreading the Gospel of Christ and having a Nation with religious freedom. It's just completing these final days before the Gentile Reign ends, and Israel, will be on the cusp of Coming to Christ.

Hello.. But what if America is Israel….
Replacement Theory, is a grave error in judgement, to begin with, knowing that God is going to "Restore Israel."
America, will be no more, because, once the Jews cry out to Jesus as their Messiah, the end of this world is destroyed.

Grant it, a New Sky and Earth will be created and have the landmass configuration as the old. But America, will never be restored like Israel will be before the End of this Age.

You're taking these verses out of context to prove your point. The great city on seven hills, Babylon, in Revelation is Rome, for example. It is symbolic, I think, of the evil empire or governmental structure that influences people to depend on it instead of God.

Jerusalem and Rome are both a part of it

But what or who am I replacing? History shows that Israel came out of Assyrian captivity, went north over the Caucus Mountains settled Europe then the America's.
But I understand that here the Bible has the final say so…(and it should) So may I ask you, what race of people fulfilled these prophecy's? It could be you are replacing true Israel.

1. Israel to be great and mighty nation. Gen. 12:2; 18:18; Deut. 4:7,8.

2. Israel to have multitudinous seed. Gen. 13:16; 15:5; 22:17; 24:60; 26:4, 24; 28:3, 14; 32:12; 49:22; Isa. 10:22; Hos. 1:10; Zech. 10:7,8.

3. Israel to spread abroad to the West, East, North and South. Gen. 28:14; Isa. 42:5, 6.

4. Israel to have a new home. 2nd Sam. 7:10; 1st Chron. 17:9.

5. Israel's home to be north-west of Palestine. Isa. 49:12; Jer. 3:18.

6. Israel to live in islands and coasts of the earth. Isa. 41:1; 49:1-3; 51:5; Jer. 31:7-10.

7. Israel to become a company of nations. Gen. 17:4-6, 15,16; 35:11; 48:19; Eph. 2:12.

8. Israel to have a Davidic King (a perpetual monarchy within Israel). 2nd Sam. 7:13,19; 1st Chron. 22:10; 2nd Chron. 13:5; Psa. 89:20, 37; Eze. 37:24; Jer. 33:17, 21, 26.

9. Israel to colonize and spread abroad. Gen. 28:14; 49:22; Deut. 32:8; 33:17; Psa. 2:8; Isa. 26:15; 27:6; 54:2; Zech. 10:8,9.

10. Israel to colonize the desolate place of the earth. Isa. 35:1; 43:19, 20; 49:8; 54:3; 58:11, 12.

11. Israel to lose a colony, then expand, demanding more room. Isa. 49:19, 20.

12. Israel to have all the land needed. Deut. 32:8.

13. Israel to be the first among the nations. Gen. 27:29; 28:13; Jer. 31:7.

14. Israel to continue as a nation forever. 2nd Sam. 7:16, 24, 29; 1st Chron. 17:22-27; Jer. 31:35-37.

15. Israel's home to be invincible to outside forces. 2nd Sam. 7:10; Isa. 41:11-14.

16. Israel to be undefeatable - defended by God. Num. 24:8, 9; Isa. 15-17; Micah 5:8, 9.

17. Israel to be God's instrument in destroying evil. Jer. 51:20; 51:19-24; Dan. 2:34, 35.

18. Israel to have a land of great mineral wealth. Gen. 49:25, 26; Deut. 8:9; 33:15-19.

19. Israel to have a land of great agricultural wealth. Gen. 27:28; Deut. 8:7, 9; 28:11; 33:13, 14, 28.

20. Israel to be rich by trading. Isa. 60:5-11; 61:6.

21. Israel to be envied and feared by all nations. Deut. 2:25; 4:8; 28:10; Isa. 43:4; 60:10, 12; Micah 7:16, 17; Jer. 33:9.

22. Israel to lend to other nations, borrowing of none. Deut. 15:6; 28.12.

23. Israel to have a new name. Isa. 62:2; 65:15; Hos. 2:17.

24. Israel to have a new language. Isa. 28:11 (The Bible, by means of which God speaks now to Israel, is English not Hebrew).

25. Israel to possess the gates of his enemies. Gen. 22:17.

yet the city of Jerusalem and YHWH's mountian is within Israel, that never changed.

Still your seeking and understanding of the word is impressive.

Genesis 15:18, “On the same day יהוה made a covenant with Aḇram, saying, “I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Mitsrayim to the great river, the River Euphrates.”

You're taking these verses out of context to prove your point. The great city on seven hills, Babylon, in Revelation is Rome, for example. It is symbolic, I think, of the evil empire or governmental structure that influences people to depend on it instead of God.
Hey… well I’m short, Rome doesn’t is not old

I agree, Psalms 46:4
There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
I just don’t believe the people who occupy that land at the moment are of the descendants of the Israelites of the Bible. Thanks for the kind words! I come from a place where these conversations don’t exist.

You are clearly seeking truth, He guides for sure

Daniel 10:12, 12 And he said to me, “Do not fear, Dani’ĕl, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself before your Elohim, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words."

Psalms 46:4, 4 A river whose streams Make glad the city of Elohim, The set-apart dwelling of the Most High."

There are 11 other Tribes besides Judah, and they did not vanish, their identity has been lost, they don;t know who they are, well most don't but Yahshua made a great point

Matthew 3:9, "and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Aḇraham as father.’a For I say to you that Elohim is able to raise up childrenb to Aḇraham from these stones." (The only difference in Hebrew between children and stones is the first letter of the word. Children-banim. Stones-aḇanim.")

John 8:33-42, 33 They answered Him, “We are the seed of Aḇraham, and have been servants to no one at any time. How do you say, ‘You shall become free’?” 34 יהושע answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone doing sin is a servant of sin. 35 “And the servant does not stay in the house forever – a son stays forever. 36 “If, then, the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. 37 “I know that you are the seed of Aḇraham, but you seek to kill Me, because My Word has no place in you. 38 “I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have heard from your father.” 39 They answered and said to Him, “Aḇraham is our father.”c יהושע said to them, “If you were Aḇraham’s children, you would do the works of Aḇraham. But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has spoken to you the truth which I heard from Elohim. Aḇraham did not do this. 41 “You do the works of your father.” Then they said to Him, “We were not born of whoring, we have one Father: Elohim.” 42 יהושע said to them, “If Elohim were your Father, you would love Me, for I came forth from Elohim, and am here. For I have not come of Myself, but He sent Me."

Revelation 3:9, 9 “See, I am giving up those of the congregation of Satan, who say they are Yehuḏim and are not, but lie. See, I am making them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you."

Acts 10:34-36, “And opening his mouth, Kĕpha said, “Truly I see that Yah shows no partiality, but in every nation, he who fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. He sent the word to the children of Yisra’yl, bringing the Good News: peace through יהושע Messiah! He is Master of all."

YHWH will seperate the wheat from the tares, and we can know them by their fruits

Matthew 13:24-30, “Another parable He put before them, saying, “The reign of the heavens has become like a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel (tares) among the wheat and went away. And when the blade sprouted and bore fruit, then the darnel (tares) also appeared. And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? From where then does it have the darnel (tares)?’ And he said to them, ‘A man, an enemy did this.’ And the servants said to him, ‘Do you wish then, that we go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the darnel (tares) you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I shall say to the reapers, “First gather the darnel (tares) and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary.”

Also Gentiles were allowed since the beginning:

Exodus 12:47-49, “All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the Passover to יהוה, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. One law shall be to him that is nativeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourns among you.”

Isayah 56:1-7, "This is what YHWH says: Keep the judgments, and do justly; for My salvation is near, soon, to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; who keeps the Sabbaths without polluting; defiling, them; and keeps his hand from doing any evil. Do not let the son of the Gentile, who has joined himself to YHWH, speak, saying; YHWH has utterly separated me from His people. Nor let the eunuch say; Behold, I am a dry tree. For this is what YHWH says: To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose those things which please Me, and hold fast to My covenant: I will give to them, in My House, even within My walls, a place and a Name equal to that of sons and of daughters; I will give them the Name of The Everlasting: YHWH; which will not be cut off. Also the sons of the Gentile who join themselves to YHWH, to serve Him, and to love the Name of YHWH, to be His servants--everyone who keeps the Sabbaths without polluting; defiling, them and who holds fast to My covenant--I will bring them to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My House of prayer…"

Could someone summarize the two sides of the debate? It seems to be revolving around whether America is either Babylon or Israel, except the reasoning employed by either side is that it can or cannot be because one is figurative and the other is literal... but I can't seem to follow which is which. It can't be Israel because it is literal but can Babylon because it is figurative? Or is it the other way around? And how can we know when the figurative is applicable and when it can be disallowed?

Hebrew people of the 12 tribes have dispersed throughout the Earth, but that does not make those places Israel (Yahsharyl)

Genesis 28:14, 14 “And your seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall break forth to the west and to the east, to the north and the south. And all the clans of the earth shall be blessed in you and in your seed."

Israel (Yahsharyl) is bound to a location, containing Jerusalem (Yahrushalayim) and YHWH’s Holy Mountian

Genesis 15:18, “On the same day יהוה made a covenant with Aḇram, saying, “I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Mitsrayim to the great river, the River Euphrates.”

Babylon has a headquarters, 3 of them in theory, but it is not contained to a certain location

Revelation 17:

17:1, "And one of the seven messengers who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying to me, "Come, I shall show you the judgment of the great whore sitting on many waters, (Rev 17:15)

17:15, "And he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and crowds, and nations, and tongues."

Revelation 11:8, “and their dead bodies lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Seḏom and Mitsrayim, where also our Master was impaled,”

I believe Babylon is two fold.
1) It is a literal place… it is a city.
Rev 14:8
8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication [religious adultery]. (KJV)
Where is this city located?
Rev 11:8
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. (KJV)
Rev 21:10
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, (KJV)
-So know we know Babylon is physical location, and it is Jerusalem.
However; it spiritually called Sodom and Egypt. Which gives us spiritual implication.
So what is the spiritual implication? In my opinion Babylon (or mystery Babylon) is false religion… A place and a belief that will usher in the antichrist… This place is obviously not America…. And I believe America is modern day Israel… Not really a debate.. unless one materializes.. just throwing discussions out there… and boy do I got a lot of questions.
