50 years ago: "It will be very soon." 50 years from now: "It will be very soon."
Revelation 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

I believe that when God the Son became human, he chose not to access or exercise every prerogative and capability that he had due to his divinity. So it could be said truthfully that in the context of his humanity during his earthly life, he did not know such things, even though he did and does know it in his omniscient divine nature.
That's the standard storyline in most Churches. I disagree.

John 10:38
"The Father is in Me and I in Him"

Infinite God is within the infinite God.

But even if you disagree, the "standard storyline" does seem to answer the "How can a Omnisicient God not know everything" question.

When you quoted John 10:38, do you mean that this text is in contradiction with this "standard storyline"? I don't see how.

Fortunately, I remain unafflicted by the commonplace malady of a total failure to comprehend Biblical prophecy as it relates to present day observations. In other words, I do in fact heed Biblical warnings with great gravitas.

BTW......the "seven times" judgment has ended. Israel has swung way right/ultra orthodox/religious and is certain to rebuild the "tribulation temple". Guaranteed. 70th week of Daniel is.....inevitable. And soon.

2 Thess 2:1 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling to meet him

Do you know when???
Well all I can say is I HAVE MY TICKET!

When? I believe we can know the season...yet its so clear the Church is still not ready. We still can't just love each other because we fight over silly doctrines. We can't just toss out pre mid post and then just believe like Sis posted Rev "Yes I am coming soon/quickly". And then all look up and be ready period.

Weeks ago.. thinking doing something else He says out of no where "I am coming". I just keep looking up.. praying more for the lost. Its the main reason I believe He has not come yet. His mercy and grace the depth is beyond what we can think. Sinners or Christians we give up on He never has. So.. I really truly want to go home..but as Christ said no my will be done but yours Father. It could be another day or another 30years.

Did you examine the contents of that link? I mean what have you got to lose other than ignorance?

John 14:9
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you do not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

And the blindness continues among those who should know and what He was teaching

More ad hominem. You aren't helping your cause.
Wisdom. You either have it, or you do not. And such wisdom is inextricably linked to rightly comprehending PROPHECY!
End-time prophecy.

Rev 13:18
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Rev 17:9
And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

cv5 Seems you are the only wise person here. We can know everything. So many pieces--The LAST TRUMP

1 Corinthians 15:51
Lo! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

Revelation 10:7
but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God, as he announced to his servants the prophets, should be fulfilled.

The Seventh Trumpet
Rev 11:15 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever.

THE KINGDOM BEGINS DURING THE LAST AND SEVENTH TRUMPET

The vial or bowl judgements continue for another 1185 days after the resurrection

Rev 14
Reaping the Earth’s Harvest
14 Then I looked, and lo, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat upon the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” 16 So he who sat upon the cloud swung his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

The rapture/resurrection happens on the Blessed day of Daniel ( Dan 12:12), 1335 days into the Tribulation. This was the understanding that was sealed till the time of the end

“We give thanks to thee, Lord God Almighty, who art and who wast,
that thou hast taken thy great power and begun to reign.
18 The nations raged, but thy wrath came,
and the time for the dead to be judged,
for rewarding thy servants, the prophets and saints,
and those who fear thy name, both small and great,
and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.” Rev. 11:17

Timing of the rapture/resurrection is also called the Day of the Lord

This is why Apostle Peter tied the Day of the lord into Pentecost in Acts 2

Prophet Joel said Great and Terrible Day of the Lord, but Peter changed it to the Great and Glorious Day of the Lord

Great and Glorious Day of the Lord

Rev 14:14 Then I looked, and lo, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat upon the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” 16 So he who sat upon the cloud swung his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

but gather the wheat into my barn.’” Mat 13:30

Great and Terrible Day of the Lord

7 And another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18 Then another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has power over fire, and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.” 19 So the angel swung his sickle on the earth and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the great wine press of the wrath of God;

Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned

You just can't let it go. What is it that drives you to insult others endlessly?

Depends on whether these "others" are truly seeking wisdom or not I guess. I would wager that Jesus was pretty hard on the Pharisees and Sadducees for similar reasons.

But hey, feel free to continue to insult me too. I enjoy the criticism. Really, I need it. And you?
