Hey Rose how are you?
I've been doing good and had a great summer.
The discussion so far here is that many people have no problem if people want to sleep or dance with their masks, although maybe one or two people do.
The problem seems to be the mandates and naturally i'm raising Second Amendment questions. It's a lot of pages but that's a recap so far.
Yeah I'm reading up here, you be a little tricky though. lol Seriously though we know much of what was done was of little to no use. I don't believe people will comply this time like they did last.

Oh, so it's like that!! Ok. Well while the Gov. of my state was telling us that we just didn't care about grandma because we were having bbqs in our backyards (wasn't true, people weren't even going to church) he allowed BLM to come into a large city near me. They were from out of state, they didn't wear masks, they met in mass crowds in the city. Meanwhile this Gov. was threatening Christians that were meeting outside, "socially distanced" with arrest. So yeah, that's when I said forget it and the mask went in the garbage.
Oh i'm with you there Rose. I don't like the Blue team any more than you do. But let's keep a sense of humor though this exchange and maybe we might get somewhere.

Don't know, have you heard that song Rich Men North of Richmond? Don't think it's about party so much now. People are fed up. I've been watching reactions to that song for a couple days now. Don't know what it means, but there is something deep in people and I think they want change. Just not sure how it will all come down.

I think the problem Rose and i've mentioned this before is the information age, mainly the Internet.
Because the internet has a large reach for any crazy idea, we are now living in a white-nose type of desensitized society where most can't tell a crazy idea from the truth anymore.
When i think of my childhood for example, it was beautiful and bliss. No crazy news, no crazy people ... just beautiful.

With this being said, i don't think the problems in USA are any problems at all compared to what some other countries have to go through.
We just have a lot of time here and we because we have a proud individualistic spirit, we want to REJECT a lot of what the others have to say.
I think the bigger problem is that the Blue team for example want to confuse our children, that's a bit more concerning but i also think it's a generational fad, but it has consequences though.
Because the other side, the red team and the flat-earth doom-and-gloom brigade don't bother me. They make me laugh in fact.

I don't know, I thought it was something I was just thinking. But as I have seen the reaction to that song by blacks, whites, Asian and Hispanics, I think there is a deep unity in America and I don't know that any politician has, or can touch it. It's a feeling of being tired and fed up. I mean I've seen grown men crying over the lyrics to that song. Was thinking of starting a thread on it. A little hard though because there is language in the song.

Good song, i just listened to it.
That song touches on an important point which the Blue team has been pushing: Progressiveness.
The Blue team in the late 90s when the Sax-Playing man was in office made a radical switch from protecting people's rights to protecting people's feelings and started pushing this new Progressive mantra.
But what turned the whole thing upside down was The Internet. It gave Progressiveness steroids.
Now anybody with a keyboard or a webcam in YouTube is an expert so let the white noise begin.

So Rose, did you like my blue mask? :D

When someone who you don't care about or even dislike (for whatever reasons) is shot by a cop the favorite response is: "Well he didn't follow commands so he deserved it".
This is the response i'm giving you now. He didn't follow commands.
1.) If this statement was intended for ZNP, you need to offer him an apology, as you're smearing him with ideas you've made up out of thin air, which you can't possibly back up with data.

2.) If you're addressing this at some particular group of people, or the country at large, then you need to apologize for smearing EVERYONE with logical fallacies and nonsense statements you cannot possibly back up. You simply made these things up, out of whole cloth, and asserted them as fact, in order to be divisive and offensive. You cannot possibly support this statement with data, as this data doesn't even exist except in the mind of God who can read the minds of all men.

3.) Over and over in this thread, you've tried to goad people (with personal accusations and illogical trains of thought) into eliciting emotional responses, about issues that have nothing to do with the topic. This is very very odd. Many of your responses in this thread have just been very very odd. You have been goading people, over and over, into talking about using their guns. It's just been incredibly odd.

4.) I suggest you apologize as appropriate, stick to the topic YOU created, and go open other threads for other issues.

He gave a few reasons:
1. Viruses that kill the hosts generally die shortly after the host dies for lack of a hosting body.
2. Viruses without a host exchange DNA with similar viruses which weaken their effects.

He did note that sometimes they will mutate and strengthen again, but would then be subject to 1 and 2 above.
Also, having sick people stay home and not enter stores favors a virus that is less virulent. A less virulent strain of a deadly virus can help boost your immune system to the deadly variant.

Fighting the Spiritual warfare

14 So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), 15 and having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]. 16 Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

The first thing any warrior learns is footwork, how to stand, how to move. My two oldest children are both black belts and 80% of their training was on how to stand, how to move forward, how to retreat. The goal is that you are always standing in a balanced way ready to be attacked. Mike Tyson and Muhammed Ali were two great heavyweight fighters. They were very different, Tyson was shorter than everyone he fought and Ali was tall with a very long reach. As a result they had two completely different styles of fighting. But in both cases they had excellent footwork. In the Spiritual warfare this is a matter of righteousness. Many think that the first thing you do is tighten the belt of truth, but you do that having already put on the breastplate of righteousness. First put on righteousness, then tie it up with truth.

If your battle in any way is not righteous you are open to a kill shot to your chest. If you play fast and loose with the truth you open yourself to a vicious attack. Consider these "christians" that try to manipulate others with lies, insults, aspersions, and all kinds of inuendos. This is not righteous. You may think you are "fighting the spiritual battle" but you are one with Satan, the accuser of the brethren. Having a "good heart" is what evil people use as an excuse for the evil they do. You don't have a good heart, you need your heart covered with the blood of Jesus. Thinking that you need to correct others is what people who do not bow the knee to Jesus who is Lord, do. You are not Lord, you need your motives covered with the blood of Jesus. And you need everything kept in place with the truth.

Prior to Tom Brady everyone agreed that Joe Montana was the greatest quarterback in the NFL. These two had something in common, they didn't look like football players and they were drafted after many, many other players. It is easy to see a great runningback, receiver, or linebacker, but the skills which make a great quarterback is very different. I remember when people first started to realize Montana was great they talked about his 2 1/2 step drop. That is what quarterbacks are supposed to do, but very rarely ever do because it is very hard. Montana's dad said he bought a book on how to play quarterback, it said to do a 2 1/2 step drop and so he trained his son from a very young age. As a result Montana was able to release the ball before being hit and to be set before any defenders could surprise him. He had great footwork. Why didn't the scouts see that? Why didn't they appreciate that? I watched a video of Peyton Manning, another great quarterback, training in the off season. It was all about footwork.

Third you need to be wearing the gospel of peace. If you are not consistently preaching the gospel then you are out of training. You are like a piano player who hasn't practiced for a week. Also, it isn't the gospel of salvation, or the gospel of condemnation, or "hell fire and brimstone". It is the gospel that we have peace with God due to the sacrifice Jesus made. All these ones who think they are in the spiritual warfare but are instigating war, and hatred, and suggesting using guns? That is not the gospel of peace. That is not the message. We are not here to condemn "Democrats" or "MAGA" or anyone else. We are here to preach to everyone that the way of salvation has been opened by Jesus and all people regardless of what you think or where you live or how you were raised can enter into this salvation. Any other message that you bring is a perversion of the gospel or worse, evil.

Now above everything lift up the shield of faith. Everything you say and do needs to be hiding behind the word of God, our shield of faith. If the word of God does not agree with what you want to say or your opinion of what to say, then ditch your opinion. The word of God is an impenetrable shield that the enemy cannot get through. This is the wall that we can safely hide behind or the tower we can run into.

Not only so, but what is getting into your mind? Are you watching TV? Are you allowing Satan to play with your mind? Put on a helmet that will protect you from all that. If you discover that some show is occultic, cut it off. Are they talking about demon possession? Cut if off. Are they lying to you? Cut if off. Did this show give you nightmares? Cut if off. You need to protect your mind. The enemy is trying every which way to poison your mind.

You can't simply cut something off, you have to replace it. If you spent two hours watching harmful TV you need to replace that with two hours in the word of God, in prayer, in fellowship, in worship. So you put on the helmet of salvation by cutting off many ways Satan would get into your brain and you replace that by taking up the sword of the Spirit, the word of God. This means you are focused on the word. There are a hundred ways to take up the word.

For example about two weeks ago I wanted to read through the book of Revelation each day. I soon decided it was better to listen to someone else reading it, and that took 1 hour and ten minutes. However, after three or four times I decided to speed it up and soon I was listening to it at 1.5x the speed, taking about 43 minutes to go through Revelation. Then I put on the headphones and while washing dishes or cooking a meal I could listen to the entire book of Revelation. This is called "redeeming the time because the days are evil". I have probably gone through Revelation 20 times in the last two weeks by doing this.

I’m going to start with your point number 4.
Every thread on this forum and in the internet usually derails to something else. It just how the conversation goes so I’m not sure why you’re not familiar with this fact.
Maybe because you don’t like what I have to say?

Your point number 2 and 3 are basically similar because you’re ignoring the fact that people from your own team use goading language all the time not just here but the internet usually. If you’re specific about this forum then you need to shut down the conspiracy forum IMMEDIATELY. Perhaps contact an administrator about that?

Finally, my response about police shootings was not directed at ZNP but the red team in general whose most common response is “He didn’t follow police instructions” when someone they don’t care about is shot.

I suggest you try to be more impartial in your judgment?

This is a common tactic I see by many who try to goad others. They will say something very insulting or offensive but who they are talking about is vague. As Maxwel pointed out according to the context it could have been directed at me, or it could have been directed at all Trump supporters based on the context of earlier posts, or it might refer to a third as yet undesignated group. This way if they get called on the carpet or even threatened with a lawsuit for slander or libel they can claim "that wasn't about you".

I have found it is best to simply ignore
Hold on, let's get the perspective of Trumpists first.
Are you a Bidenist?

If you see yourself as a Bidenist simply because you voted for him then I suppose it is not insulting to label anyone who votes for Trump as a "trumpist".

But since you have thrown out this term can you define it?

I know, people on the far right do this all the time, folks like Alex Jones or the like who are also linked here in this forum.
Maybe perhaps you're not used to hearing a counter-argument and you want to hear yourself talk all the time instead of having a discussion which shouldn't be as serious as i mentioned earlier? I realize for you for example this is very difficult because you're a doom-and-gloom kinda guy but just throwing it out there.

lol. No i'm not. And you know what? I don't get very emotional or touchy if you call me that. You know why? Because i'm not invested in the Democratic party either.

If you're serious about language usage in anonymous internet forums or real life, then think about what i mentioned to you earlier in the convo about how you classify the mask mandates and compare them to Afghanistan.
So have some self-reflection when you can't take what you dish out.
