there is NO bilical numerology, yes there are numbers with meaning in the bible but not to be used for prophecy not the same thing at all divination is forbidden.

Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Yes you highlight divination but again where does it say that studying how God speaks through numbers is Divination As I said in an earlier post there are exactly 20 dreams and 20 visions in the bible 2020 perfect sight.

Not to mention that hebrew language is the best example and also the fact that God uses certain numbers abundently like 12 7 6 and he never does anything without meaning or purpose.

Why would he use numbers in the way he does if he knew we would read it and if his word is truth then if you think the way he uses numbers in scripture is just numbers your not taking it seriously.

It is the word of God all of it including numbers the written and spoken word so if he uses numbers and isn't speaking to us then how can we say it is the word of God if not all of it is?

Nowhere in the verse you posted did it mention the study of numbers you cannot just put a label on something to make it say something. Again where in the word of God does it say he doesn't speak with numbers and that it is evil to study them?

Don't man to offend anyone, but when a person tells me God reveals things to them in dreams, I tend to ignore all he says.
The Scripture is given to reveal all we need to know and I will rely on it, not dreams.
Acts 2:17 says, "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams". The verse continues, "Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy".

What has God revealed to you in your dreams that cannot be found in Scripture?

It doesn't matter because those dreams can be found in scripture it just takes a lot of digging and studying. Dreams from God will always in one way or another point to him if it dooesn't it is just a random dream.

Your disbelief in God giving dreams is not what the scripture says you can take him at his word or not.

Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, oran observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Deu 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
Deu 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

if you persist using numetrology you will be in deep trouble with the Lord, to him it is a detestable practice, I am certain of it. You have free will it is your choice. What you had was simply a dream with no particular meaning.

Blessings.

Seems like I hear a LOT of people saying "Oooh, you're gonna be in deep doo-doo with God for that." Everything from sodas to tennis shoes to facebook to talking on the phone has come under that heading. (I'm not even kidding. There was once an evangelist who preached against tennis shoes. We never invited him to come a second time.)

I mean I'm not saying you're WRONG about numerology. It seems to be a lot of straining to find meaning in coincidences to me. All I have seen is God really likes 7 for some reason. And I agree that the dream was just another random dream.

But still, "God's gonna get ya for that!" is WAY overused, and a bit out of place here.

Again nothing about studying how God speaks with numbers, you highlited abomination you but again nothing about the study of numbers. you can't slap a label on something to make it what you want if you cannot provide the scripture that says God doesn't speak through numbers and that it is evil then you have no basis and labeling it using words that have nothing to do with it doesn't cut it

He and I have a very intimate and close relationship and I know his voice well if he was against it he would let me know I sit and wait upon him. Tell me where did you learn that studying how numbers have meaning messages and that God speaks through numbers your church your family friend? it couldn't have been from the bible as you cannot seem to produce the scripture that says that you just try to make words like divination and abomination say that but that isn't numbers you just label it as such when that isn't what I asked for.

NUMBERS not divination or abominations numbers.

Are you saying your dreams can be found in Scripture?
Maybe I misunderstood you.
I thought you were saying your dreams were revealing something new.
No nothing new but a message to me. When I had this dream I was in great despair life had beaten me down to the point where I just stopped trying it didn't seem to matter what I did which way I went it was as if some unseen force blocked my path every step of the way I couldn'teven have my medicine for about a week so I was very sick weak and in a state of hoplessness.

The night time is when I lay in bed and listen and speak with him the still quiet place and I asked him when was this going to end if it would at all was I cursed to always suffer and and was I failing him the guilt of upsetting him if I did anything wrong if I made him sad the thought of it was to much.

That is when I had that dream in a pure white place a female angel appeared and asked me if there was anumber that I felt related to me what would it be. I said 88 and when I woke up I had no idea why I said that I have neevr thought of that number before.

That number meant something and all I did was ask for help understanding it I didin't know a reliable source as there so many fake ones and wierd angel numbers these people are all over youtube as well they never stop talking about engels pseaking and protecting providing divine blessings nothing about God at all.

The actual term for it is not numerology it is actually gematria the jewish study of numbers their language has a number assigned to each letter and a symbol these symbols can speak a message all on their own but they also calculate the numbers assigned to each letter.

instead of people disregarding it and calling it evil has anyone botherd to look through the scriptures seeing how numbers are assigned in it? God speaks a lot on numbers he is very precise and if a number appears in a verse there is a reason for that.

And yes if a dream is from God with enough studying you will find it in there if it is not from God you likely won't even try to find in the bible dreams from him are compelling not just random things.

And just now I had the inkling to see what the 88th verse in the bible was, with what I was going through at the time I recieved it the meaning of 88 along with this . O LORD, the God who saves me, day and night I cry out before you. May my prayer come before you; turn your ear to my cry. For my soul is full of trouble and my life draws near the grave. I am counted among those who go down to the pit; I am like a man without strength.

That is exactly how I felt when I recieved it.

People have no fear of GOD today, no wisdom. I said what I said because it is the truth. I do not like to write what I did but if it can wake up the man why not try. I always try to help even when it is not wanted.

Peace

my dear, you know the verse numbers are man made, right? men put the chapter and verse divisions into the Scriptures.

and since i'm in mom teaching mode, lol, here's another cool fact:

in the Psalms, the Bible publisher will give the psalm a title. it's not inspired, either.

for example, Psalm 75 in the BSB is titled "God's Righteous Judgement". that's not part of the inspired text, but the superscription reads "for the choirmaster: To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A Psalm of Asaph. A song."

that IS part of the text of the psalm. :)

Just a bit of information about numbers and the ancient Hebrew alphabet. I believe it carried on through other languages through the Roman empire.

Each letter was assigned a number that was used by the scribes making copies of ancient text to ensure that they made no errors when copying a line, column or page of text. There was never any other real significance of letter numbers.
