A must see video is:
" A Biblical Response to the Transing of America." by Pastor Gary Hamrick.

As I watched this video I found it riveting. I believe every professing Christian needs to see it.

Wokeism is attacking the very fabric of our society. No clearer is this than the transgender movement. One of the greatest challenges facing the church today is how to respond to the transgendered community.

How should a congregation respond to a transsexual male or female who wants to partake in worship? Should the person be quietly ushered to the back of the church or worse asked to leave? Should the congregation be "accepting" of the individual yet whispered and murmuring? Does one allow one's young ones to interact or do we play the avoidance game?
More practically speaking, what bathroom should the person be permitted to use?

What if the person wishes to be baptized, become a member, or offer to teach Sunday school.
How should the church respond to a young couple walking into the sanctuary holding hands. A couple who are lesbian or gay?

There are biblical responses to such questions and unfortunately such issues can be divisive.

If you choose to respond to this topic please keep to the topic which is how to respond to the transgender movement as it pertains to our churches. If you quote scripture by all means but please choose one or two and not post reems and reems.

An excellent find Magenta! Good for you.👍 Many points were raised that were discussed on the other forum.
A compassionate response for sure but as responsibility to defend God's word as it is written.
I liked the way the speaker made the point that the LGBTQ transgender movement is totalitarian in nature.
Thanks for posting it.

We had one once come through the doors. Security showed them the door.

He was hanging out in several of the women's bathrooms by the children's area.

He's lucky he didn't get disappeared.

The church is the church. I'm against the idea that the church should welcome everyone. There should be a separate meeting for those who are seeking truth and are open to the gospel. The church is the living temple (1 Peter 2:5). Who would use a mix of marble and mud to build a palace?

Paul told the Corinthians to excommunicate the adulterer. So if a member of the church becomes trans or homosexual, they need to be warned to repent. If they refuse, they need to be disciplined by separating them from fellowship. Sin is contagious.

Paul said to twice warn a divisive person (1 Timothy 3:10). Sometimes Satan sends such people to churches to caused strife. I was a member of a church that was brought down by one divisive man.

If a transgender individual is sincerely seeking help, then every effort should be made to counsel him/her, including deliverance from demonic oppression. Love must be the basis of all our actions and reactions, no matter our personal attitudes to transgenderism (Jude 1:23).

Proselytizing should happen naturally as an extension of the relationships the saints have with those in the world. Typically, the meetings should be for the saints only.

Attendance at church services should not be prohibited, in my view.

I believe it prudent that someone astute and reliable keeps a close eye on such people, similar to as one would deal with a suspected pedophile or sodomite, so that innocents are not harmed. Such people should not be trusted with children, or into the bathrooms of the opposite gender. And certainly physical displays of their perverse attractions for the same sex should not be tolerated or entertained.

Acceptance of such people as church members should only be entertained once the sin is repented of and demonstrably overcome for some time, via the blood of Christ.

You are welcome! I am still making my way through your video, and certainly agree with their approach.

I definitely would not start off with you're going to hell as someone tried to tell me
I should the other day. Yeah, they posted a slew of lies about me and then tried to
present themselves as being a wise person. Their level of delusion attests to the contrary.

Are you referring to the post where someone criticized you for providing a certain scripture to the young female suffering from an identity misalignment?

If someone came into the church openly exhibiting any other flagrant sin, they would be pulles aside and talked to about their behavior and the gospel and given actions to take.
If it were a woman in seductive underwear the pastor wouldnt be saying, oh just give her sometime. She would be pulled aside and given other clothes to wear, and if she refused she would be trespassed from the building. (Rightfully so) But some dude in a dress its, "just give him some time".
