What happened?
Did you eventually reconcile?
Did They try to hurt you?

One of my enemies tried to hurt me once. Revenge usually simmers but it all comes out in the wash with God.
What kind of prayer do you think would help someone who envies another?

I like Ephesians 1;18 NASB : I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, or 2 Timothy 2;25 with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,

Yes.
Twice I've been told: "I want what you've got." (As in peace of mind, contentment, patience and so forth.)
One was a spiritual healer, my best friend of 10 years.
I told her about Jesus a few times & the dangers of witchcraft & spiritualism.
I chose to end the friendship as I had to choose between Jesus & herself.
No repercussions to mention, no hurt effective. Lots of warfare but one with God is a majority, be that a fellowship or a person.

The second time was a member of my family a long way away. We emailed each other & as a new Christian I was telling her about what Jesus had done in my life (sorted me out, basically). I'm not sure if she was jealous but after she said she wanted it, too, I just told her to go to church.
She and her family were saved and now attend a wonderful church. Her husband's a carpenter so makes beautiful furnishings for the church, she and her daughter are in the choir & her son is one of the church's drummers.

Pray as you want. Love your neighbour as yourself, even those neighbours who are your enemies.

Is it emulations we are to avoid in the Bible which means copying or coveting one another?

If we are to emulate anyone, its Jesus not each other.

I have been told by others they want what I have or they want to be like me, or what your secret...its no secret, Jesus is no secret.

If they talking about appearance well, Its flattering that people might want my body or clothes and look like me but I try to dissuade them cos I cant give my body away to them or make anyone look like me. Besides why would they want to I have enough problems looking after my own body and clothing it!

In character and temperment its unique to us but the Holy spirit is the one who inspires us, so, if someone asks and believes they can receive. They dont necessarily need to go to church like its the answer to all ills but it really helps with spiritual development.

As we are conformed to the image of Christ, we should find some experiences of this sort. People can identify the things in others that they value, but lack. God often uses such events encourage us and provoke others to action.
One of my brothers had an extra vehicle, and I was very much in need of transportation. So he very benevolently filled my need. During our conversation, he said I had something that I possessed he wished to have. I was at a point in life where my economic situation was rather dire, and couldn't imagine that I possessed anything that he, or anyone else, would desire. But given his charity, I was happy to depart with anything he requested. What was it? He said he wished he had the peace that was in my voice. I never desired so earnestly to depart with something for another's sake.

Howdy and welcome to the forum.

Are you talking about envy or jealousy? They are often confused with each other, but one cuts you up inside like razor blades and the other one does not. Also, jealousy is the one that results from breaking the 10th commandment.

I don't know anybody who has been jealous of me. If they have, they haven't told me.

Envious, that happened just recently. I told the church I was going to be going on vacation the first week in november. Somebody in the youth group expressed envy about my vacation plans, which consist of holing up in a motel room and not opening the door until my vacation is over. "When you came back last time you were like on a whole other level."

That is the most beautiful thing i've read today. I feel so much better reading it. And Which has now installed in my mind this scripture;-

Romans 8:2;8 AMP
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

I suppose I could have used jealousy, as I didn't know the difference.

And I am not sure how now how to actually respond to the rest of your post now come to think of it.
My initial reaction was sad, but there is definitely room for humour.
Hope I'm right because after the second reading, I laughed. Very witty.

What, the part about being a recluse for my vacation? Nah, that's not sad. I love it!

Multiple guys have said it sounds like an awesome way to vacation. I don't know why they don't do it themselves.

I take everything I might possibly need with me - cans of food, loaves of bread, laptop full of videos to watch, backup laptop just in case, nail clippers, ibuprophen, extra toilet paper - even a (clean, new) toilet plunger just in case. I do not want to open that motel room door until my vacation is over.

I heard a comedian on youtube validate it too. He was talking about when he did a comedy set in a town where he knew somebody who lived there, his friend would call him up, "Hey you wanna go out for lunch? How about barbecue?" And he'd be like, "Ooooh... no, I don't think you understand how much I like just staying here. I could go eat lunch with you, but I just gave the Uber Eats guy an extra tip to deliver the food right to my bed, so I don't even have to get up and open the door."

Ya know, all the time. It's hard being so wonderful (and so humble about it).

No, not that I am aware of.
