is it a suprize?

There are people who do not hear God for years, or never. (One such here). Is it a surprise that in such a situation people go to the devil? Like a parent who doesn't treat a child and then he meets bad people who do treat him. I feel lost, start to doubt. Asking for help from fellow Christians. Tips, advice?

Jesus is the Word. The Word is living. If you want to hear from God, He will speak to you through His Word, the Bible. You need to read/hear Him every day.

As your name implies, Jesus will look for ALL His sheep UNTIL He finds them.

The whole world hears and listens to the devil.
Children of God listen and hear Jesus, through His Word, guided by the Holy Spirit.

Is this a question of belief?
If you don’t believe in God why would you go to the devil?

Because even Paul himself was praying to God to relive his foot pain and God didn’t allow it and said “my grace is enough for you”
Have you looked at all the miracles since the time of Jesus to give you some comfort that God is here with us but only intercedes according to His will and plan?

So if this is a question about suffering then join the millions who take comfort in the fact that Jesus came here to join-in our suffering and didn‘t come as a military leader as some would want.

My advice to you is to learn about Jesus. Get to know Him and learn from Him.

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

What do you mean exactly by "hear God?" What are your expectations?

That sounds like ""God personally answer me or i will go and worship satan.. Like trying to force Gods hand.. Like putting God to the test..


I don't know about you but i never expected God to audiably talk to me in my life.. So God not talking to me was the normal situation..

Don't expect God to give you a peronal audiance.. Read Gods Word and Believe it and trust in the Atonement Jesus secured on the cross that pays the penalty for all your sins..
