The pound

With you lord my waters are still. Calm are the waves. The brightest of sun warming every drop that is contained. What peace you bring, with joy by its side.

When the winds come bringing havoc and chaos, they pass and yet the waters remain calm as if the winds were never there to began with. As forceful as they may be, as much destruction that can be caused, the waters remain. They pass, and the water is calm. Never moving, full of peace and joy by its side.

Rocks that fall into the water causes ripples. Ripples that come then fade. They disrupt the surface but the ripples fade. No matter how the rocks fall and disrupt the surface, they fade and the water is calm. The waves fade, there is peace and joy by its side.

Lord my pound is calm. Lord there is wind. The wind has caused the rocks to fall and make waves, lord there seems to be distruction and the water should be disrupted. Lord because of you the water remains, because of you the water is still, because of you the water is calm, LORD.........because of you the water has peace. There is peace and joy is by its side.

Lord this life can be hard like the wind. Lord life can be sinful, having sin fall in our lives like rocks.These things can disrupt us and can bring distruction in our walk with you. Lord because of you we have been forgiven, because of you the debt is paid, because of you we have a way into heaven, because of you and your sacrifice.

Lord please remove our rocks, may we remain in your ways when the wind is blowing. Lord I have never known such a love. I have never heard such a truth. I have never seen such holiness.

Lord you keep me calm, you make me still. I don't want rocks in my pound, I don't want to let the wind bring distruction. I want you and only you, mind , body , and soul. You bring my peace. There is peace and joy is by its side. I love you lord❤️

Dear heavenly father,
Thank you lord for placing this poem on my heart. Thank you for your love and forgiveness. Lord I pray that we always are focused on you, not letting temptation to over come in our lives. Lord I pray that no matter what we may experience in life that we remember that you are by our sides. That you are with us. Keeping us at peace, showing love and forgiveness. I pray that we show the same love and forgiveness to others no matter who they are. I pray that we are faithful in sharing the good new of our lord and Savior Jesus. I thank you and I love you.

Very nice. My thought about the rocks...they do fall and make ripples and sometimes a splash. But they are swallowed up in the water and always sink harmlessly to the bottom. It reminds me of Psalm 23...the valley of the shadow of death. It's only a shadow that disappears in the light. It's only a ripple, dispersed in the peace.

Thank you brother. When we are focused on the lord, the rocks in our life crumble. No matter how strong the winds blow, the lord keeps us at peace. I'm thankful it reminds you of Psalms, that's encouraging to me. I have not read all the Psalms but a good handful and I really enjoy reading them.

Amen, I pray it will help you in a time of need. We must always be focused on the lord and resist sin when it is trying to make us go astray from the lord. We must try to be forgiving, for he is forgiving when we sin against him. Thank you for reading and for the comment 😊
