I had a child outside wedlock and the dad wants to stay in touch with me but never really reached out to the child. He does try to contribute by buying her clothes and things. I feel that God is telling me he needs to be out of our lives and it's very confusing for me because I do love him. I just don't have peace from God. When I stop talking to him I do feel better but then sometimes if I fast I feel drawn back to him. So I do not know what to do. Please help me.

"I hope and pray you come to know and learn what is needed in your life, and perhaps
that being a sense of peace within. Let us hope to know peace often requires accepting things we can't change.
And to know our own willingness to change often requires a closer spiritual connection

with the spirit of our Lord. Let us look away from undesirable distractions, and hope and pray to focus
on our own peace and wellbeing...in all our coming and going."
"Amen"
