If many local governments would purposely continue raising property taxes so high, most people would have trouble affording to stay in their homes, do you believe people should keep trying to pay these high property taxes to the point of draining most, if not all, funds, from their bank accounts?

At some point, I no longer allowed the banks to steal so much of my money; I came out financially better than those who allowed the banks to continually steal so much money from them.

Oh I see... we're back in third grade again! View attachment 257483

When the Teacher tells us to quit misbehaving, we reply "but they were doing it too!"

Real Christians understand that when we give our word... we are supposed to keep our word just like Jesus does.... cause we are called to be conformed to the image of God's Son (Romans 8:29) and then follow Him as dear children (Ephesians 5:1).... You need to up your game! View attachment 257484

Sadly you have sinned and apparently claim you have not and as such have refused to ask the Lord to forgive you for lying and being involved in fraud..

Sure it may be a tough situation where you don't have a good enough job to pay it all back but at this point you should ask the Lord to forgive you so He can cleanse you of this unrighteousness and then don't enter in to any more contracts in the future. (don't take money promising to pay them back and then refusing to pay them back later)

Proverbs 28:13
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If one doesn't confess and forsake their sin, they still on the hook for their sin!
This means there's no hedge of protection around you and the demons are circling like vultures! View attachment 257485

Also... God is not mocked, what we sow is what we reap.... so, since you have stolen from others... others be gonna steal from you which explains the financial quandary you are in now not being able to get ahead financially.

You were saying earlier to had to protect what little you have now... since you reap what you have sown, there's an open door to the devil to take some of that from you so... brace yourself!

Or, you could confess and forsake your sin and get the hedge of protection back... you're call.
This is the laws of the country and state. Are you telling me those laws don't matter?

Apparently some people put the laws of man... above the laws of God.

I would never do business with someone like this... making promises, giving their word... then later deciding to become a liar and not honor their word.

Why not just go to Seattle Washington and snort coke, drop acie, and take magic lunchrooms while you are at it?

It's legal there, so it's all good right?

The banks and credit card companies are the ones who make the rules. I just followed the rules they setup. If they give me the option to default, I will default if I have to. The GOD is also against usury laws.

Exodus 22:25 ESV
“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him.

Then you were in sin to go get the loan in the first place!

In known opposition to the will of God... but went out and did it anyway. clueless-doh.gif

No, it was government that allow bankruptcy

If it were up to the bank, those that could not pay their bills would be put to slave labor to work off their debt which is how things used to be.

They take onb financial loss due to bankruptcy so that wasn't the bank's idea.

I'm not the one charging usury.

Matthew 22:17-21 We are to submit to the nation's laws and regulations as long as they do not conflict with the commands of God.....if the law gives people a break from paying debts they cannot pay, the people have a right to use those laws. My being not able to continue paying credit card debts was not planned .Unexpected changes in my life circumstances happened. You think people do this on purpose.

Yeah, you were just the one paying it and becoming in bondage to the lender.

Proverbs 22:7
the borrower is servant to the lender.

By doing so you were not only getting under bondage but were participating in their usury

Giving your word to repay... and then deciding not to later becoming a liar... is a conflict with God's commands . . ."as long as they do not conflict with the commands of God "

If you need to see some passages about lying and deception being a sin, let me know

You should #1 not be talking about this publicly (it's really not the world's business)
and #2 humble yourself before the Lord and ask Him to forgive you for making a promise and deciding later to not keep that promise thu making yourself to be a liar and a deceiver...

But, it's your life... you have to decide if you're going to honor the Lord or honor what man's laws "allow"

Just because man's laws "allow" something does not mean it's the right thing in God's eyes.

Around 2008 when the market crash and people were losing their homes, many people filed for bankruptcy. I remember some banks posting that debtors had a moral obligation to pay their debt, no matter what the law said. My answer to them were, banks are not moral. The law gives exemptions to protect people's income. I believe Jesus would say....."What does the law say?" You follow the laws. The banks have to follow the same laws we do. There is no moral obligation to the banks. How say you?
Nice way to say you believe in situational ethics.

If banks could bring back debtor's prison and poor house, you would be for that?

It has been along time since you and I have spoken and it seems you have not grown from your understanding since then. you are far to involved with the physica. Do you know that I myself after the first half of the month do not have money to be able to eat? I go through weeks of being hungry only able to rely on others or food I find on the ground?

Yet I do not ascribe to you constant view? Do you have the bility to eat? to hyave most of your needs met? you have money I do not have yet look at how different our views are I know more than many how unfair how cruel this life can be I cannot egven afford to live and only make it by the grace of God and the genrousity of others but my main purpose my reason for existance is to know the deepest depth of his heart even daring to know him more than anyone has or ever will know him

I have been under sich severe spirityual battles not mental thoughts or things going wrong but physically appearing making you feel so sickj and close to death you have no clue the truth and depth of all of this I deal with it all yet I do not ascribe to your way of thinking when I have more than enough rteason to

Enough with your ways you are on the path of the physical the demonic the power money is said to have you are wrong and tyhis is coming from one who is more poor than you one whp cannot afford for the health care they need yet what do I say instead? just sit back and watch what my God can do.

I have almost died seven times this year because I cvannot afford the health and help My body needs can you say the same? Yet even so I say what I say you are of the physicall you care to much the illusion of the pwer money has but telly me have gone through what I have spoken and if you have why do you and I have opposing views?

Some people have no idea what swearing to your own hurt means...

Psa 15:1 A Psalm of David. LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?

Psa 15:4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the LORD; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;

There are people who have great jobs, keeping up on payments and suddenly they are hit with a life changing event. They get sick or a family member gets sick and they cannot work. They drain all their savings and still cannot keep up with bills. What do you say to them?

In 2008 when the housing market and stock market crashed, many people who played by the rules, had great jobs, income and savings, lost everything because the banks crashed the system. Banks got a bail out, home owners did not.

By the way, you know nothing about me. You never asked how I got into this situation. You just assume people default on debts because they PLANNED to defraud the banks and credit card companies.

No I do not assume that. What I did was answer your initial question. If we make a debt we should pay it. There are many agencies available that will help people work out debt problems, help them set up payment schedules etc. I did not assume that you personally intended to stiff the bank. If you think that of if I came across that way, I sincerely apologize.

No I don't know you personally but I know that you need to be more dedicated and more serious with God money is something that has far to much power in this world I myself cannot afford to eat after the first half of the month I am well aware what it is like to be lacking being poor I cannot even afford the ey drops that my eyes need to be healed meaning I remaining legally blind. I survive on ramen and anything cheap which greatly affects my diebetes in doing so makes my eyes become worse. I don't assume anything I know the struggle I know how corrupt and unfair this system is what would I say to someone who struggles with this? I would say perhaps this is a phase where God's blessings where his faithfulness his provision is put to the test money is just a toll it comes and goes God doesn't.

Believe me I know all to weel the struggle with money but I refuse to allow it to have power and whatever money I do have if anyone needs it I give it even if it hurts me in the end. You say I don't know you you say I assume but this is exactly what you and others have done to me you all call me delusional a false prophet you only cling to your own understanding you have no clue how much spiritual warafere comes with serving God my health my life and my mental state are constantly being affected and money has been more than a problem for me I have been in the er so many times simply because I could afford to eat

Yet even so in my eyes money is not the issue it is the spiritual state that matters.
Why should banks why should debt why should money have any say or power? is he not far more than this? is there not lessions we can learn from all this? Do you know what it is like to be almost homeless not being able to survive because of all your health issues? can you eat can you live without the fear of all of this?

Don't tell me I assume anything I know and I deal and bare all of this yet my stance is not on money I take it as a lesson asa growing experience so if this makes you or anyone else else weaker falter subdued to the power money holds then you need to recheck what and who you believe in will you allow money to reign or God make your decision

I get food stamps but not much and I don't have a ride or anyone who can take me to the food bank plus because I am legally blind I don't have a choice but rely on others to go to the store for me and I have gotten my bank statements and my rromate who doesn't help finincially at all is using my money and food stamps I couldn't even get groceries this month because she used it all on herself people know I am meek that I have memory isses that I am always willing to help or give even if it hurts me and they ise it all my my life people have done this they have no remorse no guilt and see me as a someone to use for themselves.

But because of my health and my limitations I have no choice but to rely on others and clearly I cannot trust them I am used taken advantage of and honestly I cannot comprehend how anyone can do that to someone with no remorse no guilt whatso ever.

People seem to see kindness as a weakness to exploite and yet I do what I can for people regardless it is just my nature but I cannot afford to live anywhere else I cannot walk to the store or get a ride to my doctor appointments my roomate uses my money with no remorse but I don't know what I can do about it.

But even so instead of letting it affect me I dive deeper into God's grace his promises I believe things will eventually get much better even though I have no reason to do so.

This is the point I am trying to make
