why is the Baptist Church over all combined total of membership dropping and the Pentecostal Church increasing?

1 is doing the good works that God wants them to do so they're Producing Good Fruit
the other, is not, because their Doctrine says it is not godly

i was raised Southern Baptist and then we went to my Grandfather's Church [Pentecostal] when i was 8 or 9, so i keep tabs on what both Denominations are doing.

does someone not know Jesus is speaking in those Verses on post #489?

because, last i remember, Jesus' Words outrank His Disciples.
and the Disciples would only be verifying Jesus' Words.
never the other way around
Can you clarify please? This seems to suggest that you don't believe that the majority of the new testament is the inspired word of God.
Sorry, if thats not what you meant, but it looks like it to me from this post.

it is inspired. but not word for word as the Holy Spirit gave it.

the Holy Spirit gives me a thought and i explain it accordingly to my own understanding, like they did.

but the Gospels, it tells us like Matthew, Luke and such were taking NOTES.

so, we know what Jesus said and we read is definitely the WORDS of GOD, not of interpretation, from the Spirit.

Jesus Words are the Benchmark.
all throughout the Bible, when God deals person to person, you know those words are most definitely from God.

God, even wrote the 10 Commandments Himself.

so, we know those are as legit as it gets.

everything else is by Inspiration of the Spirit.

the Spirit tells me feed this person and say God loves them.
when you do that, you end up saying what you think is according to the situation.
so, it might not be as simple as what God instructed compared to how you end up delivering the message.
but still, you are doing it by the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
the Bible, for much of it, is written the same way.

you can only not be producing fruit by personal choice, to become, a DEAD Branch.
so people, following a doctrine, that claims obeying God is a works and not godly, are removing themselves from doing God's Works and not producing Good Fruit.
I disagree as we covered earlier. It is only the Spirit Who produces fruit.

Are people in hell separated from the love of God?

Are people in hell separated from the love of God?
Romans 1 tells us God makes Himself known through [[manifestation]]...that is God's Love being manifested to them.

19 because that which is known of God is manifest in them, for God has manifested it to them.

So, He loves them enough to make Himself known to them.
and they "still Reject" Him.
so, even though God LOVES them, they choose to reject Him and end up in Hell.

what is not producing fruit?
means rejecting to do God's Works.

God still loves you.

He just honors your choice.

Hence my earlier explanation about...in me...
Third try: are people in hell separated from the love of God?
they are not separated from the Love.
God died for everyone.
He knew most of the world would reject Him
But His Love for them will never end.

So people in hell are experiencing the love of God? They aren't. They are experiencing the wrath of God. Honestly I've never heard that hell is an expression of the love of God.

people, are experiencing the results of their own choices.
that does not stop God from loving them.

What is your take on these passages?
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:13-14).

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life” (John 5:24).

And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst” (John 6:35).

“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out” (John 6:37).

“This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day” (John 6:39).

“And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:28).

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26).

I believe the Moment we're Saved these Promises apply.

But clearly afterwards, we can become a DEAD BRANCH and be cut off or Jesus would not even be warning us of that fact.

He did Command we Must Abide in Him.

He put that on us.

Our Job to Abide.

Or He would not have made it into a Command.

I disagree with your premise, but I don't want to open up a new can of worms. So I'll just deal with the word separated. Are they separated from God?

God died for the World and taught the world hates Him and will Hate us.

So, He LOVED a world He knew hated Him.

And still Died for them.

This is not as difficult as you make it.

He Died out His Love for a World that 90% will end up in Hell forever.

That is just the facts.
