Yeah, these sneaky “certain men” were not Christians; they were fakes—wolves in sheep’s clothing. They called themselves Jews and were not even close.
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

- Revelation 3:9 (KJV)
Amen,

They did not lose salvation. They were make believers who snuck in trying to deceive people

George Sodini did not repent because he committed suicide. In his suicide letter (so-to-speak) he wrote before he murdered others and took his own life by his own gun said that he could do such things and be saved by having a belief alone in Jesus. You would think that his church would have disowned him. But they didn’t. They doubled down and said George Sodini was saved despite his murder of others and despite his own suicide. Again, George Sodini is an example of Hyper Grace.
The judgment of God happens at what is called THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT. No one, with the exception of Satan, has been been judged yet. And don’t forget about the millennium and what takes place at that time.

Hello brother. Hmmm… but did this guy repent? Only God knows the heart. Grace is grace. I’m not sure how grace can be called ”hyper.” Please explain.
Its the new term used legalistic teachers to keep people from seeing what they are really saying.

"they are not really grace, they are hypergrace"

I think they do this, because they claim they teach grace themselves.

You appear to be misunderstanding something that I said with Scripture.
I am saying that those false believers who slipped in among the real believers justify sin in some way and they do so more covertly. They are not the Hyper Grace Christians who make it obvious that one can sin and still be saved (Turning God’s grace into a license for immorality).

I am not even sure where you even stand on this issue.
Do you believe in Hyper Grace? Meaning, do you believe like George Sodini? George Sodini is a Hyper Grace Christian who thought he was saved even when he murdered some people and he took his own life. He wrote in his suicide letter (so-to-speak) that he would be saved by a belief in Jesus despite his wrong actions. Even his own church said he was saved despite the crimes he committed. Do you believe like he does?
There ain’t no such thing as a Hyper Grace Christian. That doesn’t even compute. Nope.

So do you believe George Sodini was saved despite him killing others and taking his own life? He said in his suicide letter (so-to-speak) that he would be saved despite what he did because he has a belief alone in Jesus as his Savior. Do you believe other Christians can abide in excessive amounts of sin and be saved while they commit those sins all because they have a belief alone on Jesus as their Savior?

A simple, “Yes,” or “No” would be preferable.

Thanks.

It’s not for me to say or judge. Didn’t David commit murder? How about the apostle Paul? I believe I’ve already explained this in another post to you. Only God knows who His sheep are and only God knows who is saved or not.

A Christian (Elect/saints) do not abide in “excessive amounts of sin.”

Its there go to

They have to find people that sin more than them, or sin more evil sins than them so they can excuse their won sin in their watered down law to make them continue to think they meet the mark required for salvation

Here is also a good video about OSAS that lists pertaining verses and explains between Christians who struggle against sin and those who practice it:

Is Once Saved Always Saved Biblical?
I agree with you that OSAS (Once Saved Always Saved) is not biblical. Now, as you may be aware, just because some believer states they deny OSAS does not mean they are correct in regard to the topic of sin and salvation. For example, Free Will Baptists deny OSAS and yet on the other hand, they also believe you can sin and still be saved on some level by having a belief alone in Jesus. They believe the only way to commit apostasy is if you deny Jesus; But they believe you can sin and still be saved as long as you believe in Jesus as your Savior (Which is wrong).

Anyway, I watched most of Vlad’s video. While I agree with you 100% that OSAS or Eternal Security is false, there are some things about Vlad’s teachings that I strongly disagree with.

#1. Vlad mentions Hebrews 6:4-6. Hebrews 6:4-6 is talking about apostasy. Vlad says that God would take the Christian who apostatized back if they desired to do so. But he says the person simply would not want to. That is not what the text says. The Bible basically says that those who have been enlightened, etc. cannot be renewed back to repentance. The Jewish Christians who wanted to escape persecution as a Christian by pretending to be a part of the Jewish’ religion again would in fact be committing apostasy that they cannot repent of. I know it is sad, but this is the reality of the Scriptures in how it reads plainly.

#2. Vlad mentions Galatians 5:4. It states, “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” Vlad says this is a case where if a person seeks to be justified by good works, they are fallen from grace. But this is talking about the Laws of Moses, and circumcision so as to be saved (See: Galatians 5:2). Remember, Acts 15 addressed this heresy before. A certain sect of Jews tried to convince certain Gentile Christians to be circumcised to be saved and to keep the Laws of Moses. But the apostles at a council had said that they did not have to keep the Laws of Moses. Vlad says on his website, “…we don’t maintain our salvation by doing good works. God’s divine grace saves and sustains us. The grace of God saves but it also teaches us to deny sin.” (Source). Titus 2:11-12 says, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;” So yes. It is true that the grace of God teaches us to deny ungodliness. So Vlad is correct on that point of the passage. But he is incorrect by not believing the latter half of Titus 2:12. if you were to carefully read Titus 2:11-12 fully, it also says that His grace teaches us to live righteously and godly in this present world, too. Living righteously involves good works. 1 John 3:7 says he that does righteousness is righteous. 1 John 3:10 co-mingles doing righteousness with also loving your brother as a part of being of God. There are two types of sin.
(1). Sins of Commission: These are the “Thou shalt not” type sins, like: Thou shalt not commit murder, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not covet, etcetera.
(2). Sins of Omission: These are sins that you can simply commit by doing nothing for the Lord in this life. Remember, the unprofitable servant was cast into outer darkness in the Parable of the Talents. Examples of sins of Omission:
(a) Not loving God and your neighbor (Which is the poor). In Luke 10:25-28, we learn that Jesus agrees with the lawyer that to love God and to love your neighbor is a part of inheriting eternal life. The lawyer asked who was his neighbor, and Jesus told us it was basically the beat up poor man on the side of the road that we are to help. This is the example of loving your neighbor. So helping the poor and the unfortunate is a part of inheriting eternal life. We see this even in Matthew 25:31-46. Those believers who did not help the poor were said to have not done so unto Jesus and they were told to go away into everlasting punishment. Helping the poor is a good work.
(b) Not preaching the gospel in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Jesus said in Luke 9:62 that if we put our hand to the plow and we look back, we are not fit for the Kingdom of God. This means that if we start to preach the gospel as mentioned 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 in that Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and risen the third day for a person’s salvation, and we turn back from doing so, we are not going to enter the Kingdom of God. We are not fit to enter.
(c) Not loving the brethren. We are also told in the Scripture to love our brothers or sisters (fellow believers). John says that if we walk in the light, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). This is loving your brother according to the indirect wording in 1 John 2:9-11. The opposite of not loving one’s brother or sister is hating them. 1 John 3:15 says if we hate our brother, we are like a murderer, and no murderer has eternal life abiding in them. This is why Jesus said to Peter, if you love me, feed my sheep. Meaning, Peter was to love the brethren by preaching the Word of God to them and by taking care of them physically if needed.
(d) Not providing for your own. 1 Timothy 5:8 says if any does not provide for his own he is worse than an unbeliever (infidel). Providing for your own takes hard work. This is yet another good work we must do or we will not enter the Kingdom of God.
These are all works of love. They also must be done out of a pure heart of love, as well. We cannot fake it. Paul makes it clear that if we give our body to be burned and we have not love, it profits us nothing. We must have the love of God in us whereby we will love others by our actions and not just in mere words alone.

Vlad appears to only recognize sins of Commission alone. He does not appear to see that there are sins of Omission in the Bible. Galatians 6:8-9 is Paul teaching “well doing” (good works) by sowing to the Spirit to reap eternal life. We are told to keep at this and faint not in this task so we can reap life everlasting. We are not saved by good works in our Initial Salvation when we are first saved by God’s grace through faith when we believe the gospel message in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, and we seek forgiveness with the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9, Romans 10:13). However, Vlad’s point of bringing up John 15:6 to refute OSAS is actually a refutation of his very own belief in deny Sanctification for salvation (Which involves good works). John 15:6 is proof that you need good works as a part of salvation. If we do not bear fruit which are good works, we will be cut off from the vine and cast into the fire.

#3. In another video here, Vlad says a Christian will go to Heaven if they did not confess a sin. He says we are forgiven of future sin, which is a false teaching. 1 John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. Nowhere does John say we are forgiven of sins without confessing our sins. Proverbs 28:13 says he that confesses and forsakes sin shall have mercy. Why would Jesus warn us against looking upon a woman in lust (a one time sin), and with it causing us to be in danger of hellfire if we were forgiven of all sin by a belief alone on Jesus? (See: Matthew 5:28-30).

#4. He also twists Scripture in John 10 to suggest that if a Pastor is not delivering demons out of Christians, they are just a hireling. If you were to read John chapter 10, the Shepherd here is only in reference to Jesus Christ, and not pastors. There is also no mention of casting out demons out of Christians, either. He has a whole ministry on casting out demons out of Christians for even minor things. But faithful and true Christians have the Holy Spirit. What fellowship does light have with darkness? See this video here to learn more.

#5. Vlad says demons have sex with certain believers at night time while they are asleep and they have spiritual babies (See this video here). This has to be one of the most bizarre and odd teachings I have ever heard, and it clearly not biblical.

It’s not for me to say or judge.
We do not judge on our own thoughts. We let God’s Word judge them by quoting it.
George Sodini is not saved because he killed himself without having a chance to confess of such a sin to the Lord in this life.
He did not have a change of mind on his belief that he was wrong for thinking you can sin and still be saved, either.
1 John 1:9 says if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.
Forgiveness of sins is dealing with salvation. George Sodini did not believe 1 John 1:9 in that he had to confess of sins to be forgiven of sin. He believed the false teaching in that all his future sin was forgiven by a belief alone in Jesus.

Proverbs 28:13 says that we have to confess and forsake sin to have mercy.
George Sodini was not confessing and forsaking his sin. So he will have no mercy.
Well, that is if you believe Proverbs 28:13.

You said:
Didn’t David commit murder?
Yes, and he also committed adultery, too.
But David confessed of his sins to God in Psalms 51.
David did not continue down the path of thinking he could sin and still be saved like George Sodini.

You said:
How about the apostle Paul?
Paul’s sins in persecuting believers was all done before He met Jesus Christ.
When Paul said he is the chief of sinners, this was in reference to his old life before he was saved by Jesus. Just read the context.
Also, Romans 7:14-24 was also said while Paul was still a Jew seeking to be justified by the Old Law; Hence, why he struggled with sin.
But in Romans 8:2 says that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus had made him free from the law of sin and death (i.e., the Old Law).

You said:
I believe I’ve already explained this in another post to you. Only God knows who His sheep are and only God knows who is saved or not.
Not at all. Jesus said we can know false prophets by their fruit (Deeds) (See: Matthew 7:15-16).

You said:
A Christian (Elect/saints) do not abide in “excessive amounts of sin.”
But there are self professing Christians who do, and they believe they are saved by a belief alone in Jesus Christ.
These are the Hyper Grace Christians.

I can't believe Christians are agreeing and liking this video.

Let's look at the verse this person in the video says is conditional

27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: [28] And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. [29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Ok this verse has got to be one of the nicest verses in the bible.

How can anyone say that it's conditional that the sheep follow the shepherd ?

Or how can anyone use this verse to reason Osas is a false doctrine because of this verse ?

Is there Ann chance the sheep follow for any other reason than being conditional ?.

This is a sad day in Christianity for me 😞

This is a sad day in Christianity for me 😞

I think OSAS believers only tend to be believe some verses in the Bible and ignore other parts of it that are just as important. That's why they don't understand why they see other Christians agreeing and liking the video.

I used to be OSAS as well, but God kept pointing out the other verses that other people ignored and had me pay attention to them, to the point that I no longer believe in OSAS.

That was scary at first when the reality of those verses hit me but God reminded me that as long as I don't leave Him and remain in Him, not resisting His work to change me more and more into His Christlikeness, I'll be okay. :) That's what it's like for all non-OSAS believers.

Here's your problem. Deeds (works) are not fruit. See Gal 5:22-23 for examples of fruit.
That is incorrect.

Luke 3:8-14 says,

8 “Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
10 And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
11 He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
12 Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?
13 And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.
14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.”
So in verse 8, John the Baptist says to bring forth fruits worthy of repentance, and he condemns the idea of “Perpetual Belief Alone Salvationism” by John telling the Jews should not say to themselves, “We have Abraham as our father.”

In verse 9, John warns that the axe is laid to the root of the trees and will be cut down and thrown into the fire if no good fruit is brought forth.

In verse 10, the crowd understands this as good deeds, and they ask John the Baptist, “Master, what shall we do?”

In verse 11, John the Baptist lists out a good work of giving a coat to the person who has none (If you have two of them).

The conversation continues on in verses 12-14 with the same idea or theme.

Yes, Vlad teams up with Dr. Michael Brown in some videos. Michael Brown is a notorious Charismatic. Dr. Brown was a part of the Brownsville revival, which had some very questionable things going on there.

https://midwestoutreach.org/2015/10/04/an-examination-and-evaluation-of-the-brownsville-revival/

I am not Pentecostal or Charismatic. While I am not going to put God in a box, the Scriptures and history bear witness to the fact that the miraculous sign gifts have most likely ceased. Note: This does not mean we cannot pray and God can do a miracle. God can and does miracles. I am talking about the sign gifts. A sign gift would be a person healing 100% of the time because God gave them that gift. Tongues is a sign gift. However, most who speak in tongues today do so in an unbiblical way. One is supposed to have an interpreter present if they speak in tongues (according to 1 Corinthians 14). Then Paul says that what he writes are the commandments of the Lord shortly after he says this. So if a person is speaking in tongues without an interpreter, they are in disobedience to God. At least that is how I see it. Granted, does that mean they are not saved? The Bible has not revealed that to me yet. But it is very serious to disobey God’s Word. There are many commands in the Bible that if we disobey them, they will condemn our soul in the afterlife. So I would not take any chances in playing around with speaking in tongues without interpreter like many Pentecostals and Charismatics do.

I think OSAS believers only tend to be believe some verses in the Bible and ignore other parts of it that are just as important. That's why they don't understand why they see other Christians agreeing and liking the video.
Some see a denial of OSAS as works salvation because in most cases, Conditionalists believe in repentance as a part of salvation.
But Jesus basically told us to, repent or perish in Luke 13:3.

I used to be OSAS as well, but God kept pointing out the other verses that other people ignored and had me pay attention to them, to the point that I no longer believe in OSAS.
Praise God! That is so good. God is awesome and He can reveal the truth of His Word to anyone who is open to it.
I also believed in OSAS. But it was only like for a an hour or two while I was at the church when the Pastor was pushing it. But when I went home that evening and decided to check the Scriptures and read articles on it to see if it was biblical, I quickly discovered it was grossly unbiblical big time. From that point on, I have had many conversations on this topic online and in person with other believers. The more I learned by studying the Bible on this topic, the more and more verses just kept coming that revealed the truth even more. God would just keep throwing verses to me.

That was scary at first when the reality of those verses hit me but God reminded me that as long as I don't leave Him and remain in Him, not resisting His work to change me more and more into His Christlikeness, I'll be okay. :) That's what it's like for all non-OSAS believers.

Great assessment. I preach against OSAS because I don’t want people to go to the wrong place. I know that this teaching is leading many away from the Lord Jesus Christ, and more and more into their own sin or in loving this world. I think it is always best to pray before we even take up our sword on this topic with others.

Anyway, may you and your family in the LORD be well today.
May Jesus get all the glory.
