i think of this often: most people are far from learning & knowing how to try their best. it seems especially in america, this prevails. in the field of music, it's really evident. i was just conversing with a fellow musician about another player who's been playing for decades & he's not a good guitarist. whats the sense in learning something if you don't want to be your best? & in music, people talk fast. this reminds me of a singer who decided he wanted to be in a band. he was a d.j. so you would figure he knew a lot of lyrics. he was fired from his first 2 bands because of laziness, slowness & inability to sing well. this guy was the only one unemployed which means he had much more time to learn the tunes & he was the slowest one. & he smoked like crazy too. all he did was give himself a bad name in the area. he's in a band now & they don't get any "likes" on f.b. i see this in any career or chore you can think of. along with this, people are hardly ever alert. they don't know what's going on around them. it could be someone walking down the street & an old car goes by & people never notice it. & then here's a famous one: grocery shopping: yes, you guessed it! you're in an aisle & someone stops to read the info on a parcel of food & they leave their cart right in the middle of the aisle so you can't get by! unbelievable! no respect.

2 Timothy 3:13 KJV
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Luke 12:4-9 KJV
And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

[5] But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

[6] Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

[7] But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

[8] Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

[9] But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Luke 21:8 KJV
And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them…………….

Summer?
I’ve never seen this heat in Sydney during December.

Revelation 7:14-17 KJV
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. [15] Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

[16] They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

[17] For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

True,

common sense is not common.

On the odd occasion I have to say “excuse me, I will just squeeze past you“

I tried that, but it did not help. My wife knows a tech guy from the high school she retired from who keeps all the computers up and running there. He is coming over on Sunday to get us fixed up for a small fee. Friends discount. :giggle:
Forgot to mention. That tech guy did an excellent job of fixing our computer on Sunday and it's working great now! :D We needed to turn off VPN in Mcafee anti-virus. That was the main problem, yet there were some other issues as well. He even made an adjustment to our printer connection and now it works more efficiently. He also taught us a few things. (y)

They need to deal with the problem of their wide receivers. That is really what Mahomes was angry about IMO... He just didn't want to call them out publicly. They will bounce back, but other teams are catching up with them. Buffalo, Phillie, Miami are three for sure.

Revelation 22
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Wow, gametime flies! I just realized there's only a few weeks 'til the championship. I usually don't keep up until it gets about crunch time and then play catch up.
