I didn't want to give you personally a thumb's down but the pope definitely. He is going against the truth of Gods word. He needs to read The Bible. God destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah because of the sin of homosexuality. It is not natural. The union is to be between a married man and woman. God has the final authority not the pope or anyone else.

The Pope has always been like some sort of politician and this news is just making it more obvious.

But, what got less coverage in the West is when Putin's priest, who is the head of the Russian Orthodox Church essentially blessed Putin's war and his tanks.
Many other churches sent him letters urging him to change his position but at that point he was more interested in politics instead of serving God.

It holds about as much weight as ABC/MSN blessing the unions.

I identify with Paul in the sense that I was raised to think that the law and sacraments were the means of salvation. I know he was just referring to the law, but as a former Roman Catholic, we were taught to have faith in obedience to the dogmas of that denomination. When I heard the Gospel
I decided to forsake my preconceived beliefs and accept the truth of God's Word instead.
I counted the former things that I trusted in as dung. So, looking back I consider Francis likewise.
A lot of RCs would agree on that last point, some perhaps for his last decree.

Philippians 3
"8Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith."

The other reason is that I don't consider Francis my father. The word for pope/ papa means father.
Matthew 23:9

"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father which is in Heaven."

Thanks for asking.

I don't watch mainstream media.
The reason I posted abc was because I couldn't find a YouTube video of the link posted on the other platform. For some reason I can post a hot link to a video and people don't look/ listen to it. However, if it's a full length YouTube video with picture visible they will.

At least they aren't claiming this is ex-Cathedra or "from Peter's chair".

So if a "good pope" comes in behind him it can be undone.

It's the ONLY positive note to the whole thing.

Its just one half step away from endorsing sin.....which they claim they are not doing.

There are only two ex cathedra dogmas and they both concern Mary... neither of which has any Scriptural backing.

The immaculate conception some confuse to mean Jessus' conception, but no, it concerns Mary's supposed
sinlessness which was required so Jesus could be sinless because apparently, He needed her help in this matter.

Then there is her assumption. Again, nothing in Scripture attests to this.

In fact these dogmas contradict Scripture.

But they are mandatory for the Roman Catholic to believe.

It wasn't pronounced ex cathedra, but listen to the 2 minute mark. The newsman is about as Catholic as it gets.

Rome finally listens to the Anglicans, Lutherans, Presbyterians, and Methodists, but on a topic they're all on the wrong side of.

Why is it not as simple as Mary was born in Adam, aka in sin. Jesus is NOT born of Adam, He is born of the Spirit, aka NOT in sin. This is the ONLY WAY one could be born sinless, they can not come from Adam. That simple, Come at me Pope bro. This isn't rocket science here, truly makes you wonder how they've stood so long being so far out of truth and without a shred of logic or consistant rational.

Yes, it is somewhat perplexing and a little bit more than a little disturbing how much the RCC venerates and elevates Mary to the point where they call her the second Eve and onto being the mother of us all, the queen of heaven, and other bordering on blasphemous beliefs, such as you must go through Mary to get to Jesus (according to RCC she is a co-redeemer = popes have referred to Mary as "co-redemptrix," "the gate of heaven," "Advocate," and "Mediatrix," ascribing to her a cooperative role in the work of salvation). And her perpetual virginity, even though she had other children after birthing Jesus. I suppose due to their belief that she never died is how she is considered to be consciously alive in heaven, ready and willing to receive and answer prayers on behalf of the "faithful," even though we are, again, nowhere instructed to pray to anyone other than God almighty. Some associate the phrase "come out of her My people" to being directed at those caught in the snare of the RCC. Many of us here were at one time.

What next? Blessing adulterous relationships? After all, they love each other.

When I taught at a parochial school, all employees were required to pass a background check and the VIRTUS Program.
The couple hours of filling out the workbook, listening to the principal sugar coat the queer priests was all I could take. He was just one person, but he represents many. He justified the numbers of crimes that the RC priests committed as normal and overblown. He was a real dirtbag like his poope.

I asked him if he thought they committed grave sins with those little boys. He said, No, it was just a sickness. He said that it was also the official church stance!

Yes, the RCC has the world's biggest carpet and broom to sweep all their sin under. God ensured that they would be found out.

He is endorsing sin, by blessing unions of people who Gods calls an abomination,

Thats not a half step away, thats a bunch of steps
