Christian related movies

I thought it would be a good idea to start a topic with all the Christian related movies we have all seen or not seen.
Post some of your movies here and you can also add a short review to it if you'd like, but you don't have to.

I'll start.
I watched the movie All Saints. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4663548/

This was a great movie based on a true story of a pastor of a church that is about to shut down due to debt and low attendance.
This true story tells you that we can't understand God's will in our journey, but in the end we may see it, and the end can take a long time through a lot of trials and suffering along the way. The movie also talks about us reacting on our egos sometimes, so we need to be careful to discern that from the will of God. Usually if you try to glorify God or help your fellow man, you are on a good path.

The acting and the script writing of this movie leaves a lot to be improved and it's a shame that this great story didn't meet with a great actor cast and a well-written script.

This is a wonderful movie based on a true story of an atheist journalist who sets out to disprove Christianity and in the end he ends up converting due to the evidence he discovers along the well.
A very well made movie in terms of writing style, acting and even the music. Highly recommended for anyone.

I've seen few good Christian movies. Out of the handful, I might point to Passion of the Christ, and Diary of a Mad Black Woman. Love the Biblical movies of the '50s, but not sure how genuinely Christian they are.

(Note: Great movie and message, but I do not agree with the director’s view on Calvinism - which is not promoted in any of his films at the time of this writing).

(Note: One of the best Christian films to get you excited about the Word of God. There is one scene where two characters appear to play act (lie) and this is not rebuked. But it is minor in comparison to the other great biblical messages put forth in this movie. I also do not agree with the director’s belief in Calvinism - which is not promoted in any of his films as of the dating of this writing).

(Great Christian movie with yet another good biblical message; Unfortunately, I am strongly opposed to the director because of his Chosen series and his fellowship with Mormons; But he did this film before he jumped off the deep end).

Yes, I liked this one. It’s not something I can watch all the time, but it is good to show to others who have not seen it. Definitely one to own.

The War Within is free to watch on AmazonPrime Video with commercials.
Exodus Revealed and Mountain of Fire documentaries are free to watch on YouTube last I checked.

The Christian film called, “Finding Normal” is not a perfect film. It barely makes the list, but there are some really good messages in the film that makes it worthwhile. The lead male love interest has a strong accent and is hard to hear. He is not the best actor, but there are some really funny moments and biblical messages in it. So I would watch this one last.

The Christian film called, “Heaven’s War“ has TV level acting, but the special effects and the biblical messages are really great.
Heaven’s War is also very action packed. So that part is really cool, too. There are no other Christian films like it exactly.

You are most welcome. I shared my list with others before and they really liked most of them.
Granted, art is always subjective and everyone looks for different things of course.
But the main important thing is that these films uplifting Jesus, or the Bible in some way.

I'm kind of intrigued by a Christian movie channel on, of all places, YouTube.
