That's one responsibility that husbands often shirk in relation to their families.
MY wife was a hypochondriac when I first met her. Always running to the doctor and jumpin thru their hoops to run get prescriptions, and always thinking she was coming down with something.

We do not have health care "insurance" of any kind (I don't get sick myself thanks to the Word of the Living God!) and I told her she's better start agreeing with me concerning God's promises for health / healing in His Word... over the years she has gotten much better because she knows we're not throwing away money on medical experimentation like everyone else does.

I might start a thread about how to stay healthy believing God's promises along with good common sense like eating right, taking vitamins to get good nourishment, drinking lots of water, exercise, getting plenty of rest.

Every time I have in the past I'm always amazed at some many that say they are Christians arguing against God's promises. It gets really freaky in a hurry which is a sad state of affairs in deed.

That's ONLY BECAUSE Perry Mason isn't on the case!

😆
Erm, the pharmaceutical industry has already admitted to possible side effects. I've had 3 shots. I was advised against one type because of my age. I've not had a flu jab for about 45 years because I had a nasty reaction. I'd rather have the flu. I had the COVID shots. I had a couple of days of lethargy after the first and no reaction at all after the next two.

And then they spend big bucks downplaying this admittance to drown it out.

so, according to center for disease control, the u s has had a 7-10% per month above average deaths for 2+ years.

covid deaths ( again, the c d c 's numebers) have been in decline overall during this time, with some spikes here and there, but overall in decline.

so, covid deaths are down, but numbers do not detect that decline.

so, what is keeping the number up with covid going down???

va.....??
As I've said many times, when I see people falling over in the streets, dying from vaccination side effects, I'll believe the hype. There are way too many factors in deaths. Cancer deaths went up because hospitals were crowded with COVID patients and it was hard for people to access normal medical care. Telehealth is not the best way to diagnose cancer. Medical staff, prior to vaccine availability, were falling ill because they were exposed to COVID more than most. There was an acute shortage of staff in the early days of COVID. I'm glad that was mostly resolved by the time I went into hospital. One of the great killers of older men is suicide.

Such a cogent rebuttal!
Somehow very apropos though.
"I haven't keeled over dead yet, so therefore all the Australian excess deaths couldn't possibly be from the vaccine!"

Such a myopic view.

I realise that this does not fit into all the conspiracy theories.
You appear to be blissfully ignorant that the conspiracy theory was believing the lies you have been told about covid, the vaccine, and other things that push their narrative.

Facts presented simply roll off your brain. You are at the point that NOTHING can penetrate the brainwashing you have succumbed to.

Your post doesn't even bother to address the excess deaths amongst highly vaccinated countries like Australia.

I know, I know. Blah, Blah, Blah! The retort of the mind numbed robots.

That's good that you didn't have the nasty reaction that my grandparents had to that reportedly safe and effective flu shot. You also had sense not to do it again in spite of the medical propaganda.

My grandma was given a case of brain damage that put her into severe dementia for well over a year. They never had any vaccines before. I sternly warned the dumb aunt when she told me her plans. She was too damned arrogant "follow what she's told by authority" type . After that Grandma spent the rest of her existence drooling in front of the TV not knowing who we were or ever speaking again, the aunt was rewarded by spoon feeding her and changing diapers.

Grandpa was tortured with a really bad case of the flu (that the medical pros assured was not possible). Unlike the 24 hour bug that's typical, he was provided the best that modern science had to offer. Nature had not contained such an influenza strain that lasts over a year of constant agony.

I'm glad you did not go through that to or die from the latest so called vaccines.

I understand how you feel. I had a hypochondriac in the family who was conned by "health care professionals" willing to harm her. They made her miserable throughout her life with unnecessary drugs and botched surgeries.

A good physician I know, who teaches low cost ways to recover on your own, has a lot to say about health insurance. It would take a while to find, but let me know if you want to listen to the recording.

She's helped many thousands of people without pay and saved us thousands of dollars individually.

something of note, he supported the aussie gov. beating people up during the lockdown.

and has said in the past that america is a sinful nation because we were founded in rebellion. and good Christian people should never disobey the government , no matter what,

so, the fact that " blah blah blah" was a response is no big surprise....

Heather McDonald got off easy with just a warning this time.
She only cracked her skull.
May she be a warning to others before it's too late!

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Me too. I did not die from COVID either, funnily enough. I've had a couple of flu sicknesses. They last a lot longer than 24 hours. 10 days more like it. I follow good medical advice usually. I always check side effects and compatibility of medications. I did not rush into getting the COVID vaccination. On balance, it seemed that any risks were outweighed by the risk of dying from COVID or the long term symptoms that accompany COVID for some people. I also regularly pray for wisdom.

I do my research. All the hysteria around mRNA vaccines is baseless. Some people suffer some side effects, like I did with normal flu vaccinations. It's risk v benefit. At my age, the benefit far outweighs any risk. My wife likewise has been unaffected.

Perhaps some Christians are less dogmatic than others. God's will generally is that we be in health. However, there are obvious times when Christians do suffer an illness. Paul was sick at some time, possible with eye problems. His friend and colleague Epaphroditis almost died from illness. Paul said that God had mercy on him, not that he deserved to be healed. Sickness has a number of sources. Satan attacks Christians, especially those who drop their guard. Sin allows sickness, as Paul told the church at Corinth. James says that some get sick and need to call the elders to pray for them. (James 5:14-16)

That doesn't mean Jesus didn't take that sickness upon Himself to provide a way for us to NOT have to have it.

I'm certainly glad I'm not called to be conformed to the image of Paul! Jesus is the model we are to follow.

Besides a man that was stoned and left for dead more then once, beaten, bit by poisonous snakes etc, etc is not a sickly guy. They misrepresent Paul. He was an over comer!

Ever read what Paul said in 2 Timothy 3:11 when he said the Lord has delivered him out of ALL of his persecution and hardships? It's very odd that this is not taught in church so some reason.

Ever read 1 John 5:4 that tells us whosoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith which we got from Jesus (Romans 12:3)

Some may lay down and expect hard times to keep them down.

I don't do that because there's power in God's Word and the Lord always has a way out to Victory!

Don't get me wrong, I used to do that and finally got tired of satan kicking me all the time and I finally wised up to the power and authority in God's Word and learned to kick the devil out!

James 4:7 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

But Gideon 300 is right. Where the covid vaccines fit in the conspiracy theorys which we could found in the last years, f.e. on CC?
I am still alive, although my 3 shots.
But Corona still works and kills people.
My conclusion is that Corona would have killed and made sick more people, without having the vaccine.
But this you will not see.

Then be glad. A doctor in my hospital died 14 days after covid infection because of pulmonary embolism. Suddenly, half an hour before that he was on our ward for visit patients.

it's not luck when you know what you are doing.

i listened to advice from doctors and scientists who said to take this and that, and not take the vax, you will have a better outcome.

so, i did. and sorry about the doctor, but things like that are rare.
covid= overcounted, overblown, ovevhyped.

and i don't understand why folks think that decades of proven medicine and practices should be tossed out the window, and useless masks, migation, social distancing should be forced.

if we would have carried on like normal. covid comes and goes in a couple of months.

not my opinion, have heard docs and scientist say this.

and, it's been almost 4 years of me following the protocols, and no covid. and got my 70+ year old to do the same, no covid for her either.
