God has a track record of being 100%

When he says it will happen, it will happen.

You saying it will not happen. or trying to spiritualize it away of speaking of some spiritual truth and not a literal reality does not make you correct..

I have come to learn that when people do this. they do it because a literal interpretation destroys some belief in them. So they make it say something else. so they do nto have to humble themselves.
I've just had a direct message from the lord to, dont sip from the devils cup

The lord said you've slipped from it to many times,

I asked why you telling me this

I waited.

Then the lord said he lures you in.

Then the lord said listen to me who promises peace to his people and his faithful servants, he said do not let them faithful servants turn to folly because I have already revealed the man of lawlessness.

Yes, and the Lord told us there would be false prophets, charlatans, and immature Christians. Daniel was told to "seal up the prophecy". Every time you speak you simply confirm my assessment.
Yes he did

And how can you tell a false prophet?

They say things will happen. and it does not happen.

Yes he did

And how can you tell a false prophet?

They say things will happen. and it does not happen.
No, that is not the proof of a false prophet, that is a superficial understanding and is foolish.

That would be like saying a quarterback who throws an interception needs to be fired.

A false prophet is someone who claims God told him something that turns out to be false.

Second, everyone should realize this accusation of being a false prophet was used against all the legitimate prophets including Jesus.

Whenever I hear that I know this person is a lightweight.

However, if someone gives a vision or dream that has a prophecy and it does prove to be valid, not some vague gypsie scam but a word that seems absurd or impossible, then that is proof, not that they are a prophet of God, but they are a prophet. There have been a number of "prophecies" from the Simpsons that have turned out, the AntiChrist does miracles to deceive the people.

So again, people who see predictive programming and so try and discern what is going to happen from Hollywood is getting involved in poison. Unless you are absolutely clear that the Lord is calling you to do that I would advise to avoid that as a deceitful well.

The proof that a person is of God is that they tell you Jesus Christ is the Son of God, king of Kings, Lord of Lords, He came in the flesh, He died on the cross and His blood washes away your sins, this sacrifice was given freely to all who would receive it.

Balaam was a prophet, what made him "false" was not the prophecies, but the fact that he was motivated by money and would sell you out for money. Judas was a real disciple, a real apostle and a real prophet. But he was false because he was motivated by money and would sell out Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.

Deuteronomy 18:22

when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

That would be like saying a quarterback who throws an interception needs to be fired.

Which is pretty much what I said

God said things will happen.

I trust him.

Because God is not a false prophet. so I will not question him, or try to say his words are not going to come to pass

It wasn't what you said. People who are trying to expound on the word of God and are brainstorming on the word of God are accused of being false prophets. They never once said that they got a word from God. This is a horrible plague that is everywhere and it isn't what you said. What you said is if someone says something that doesn't come to pass. Thomas Edison tried 99 things before coming up with the lightbulb, he wasn't a "false prophet" like he said he found 99 things that didn't work. What you said is what is being said and spread about to attack brothers and sisters who are studying the word.

I am talking about biblical prophecy. If a prophet says something will happen. and it does not. He is a false prophet.
Really, and who does that? A few loony cult leaders, the guy who started the Mormons, nobody stoned those guys. No the people they are stoning are those who are expounding the word of God. They don't claim that they got a word from God, they are simply studying and meditating on the word of God which is what we have been told to do.

I never called anyone a false prophet.. So your speaking to the wrong person

What does that have to do with OT and NT prophets and Jesus?

Can we stick to the word of God. or is that too hard for you?

I am speaking on the right forum because there have been people on this forum that have accused people of being a false prophet based on what you wrote. Obviously, not based on that post, but they used the very same justification, "you said something that didn't come to pass". So you, like James said, is accountable for your post. People who teach others will be held to a higher standard. You taught that if you say something that doesn't come to pass then you are a false prophet. This is absurd.

God said that not me, I just repeated the words of God..
No, they were not the words of God. God said that the person who "speaks in His name" or the person "who claims he has a word from God". You didn't say that.

Go back and look at how any truth was found in the word of God. There were very many "mistakes" and errors before we were able to hammer out the key doctrines and truths in the NT. The process is the same as what Thomas Edison did.

My point is the hypocrisy, no one has any problem with Edison trying 99 different things, he isn't a false prophet simply because he doesn't know the answer. No one accuses the great quarterbacks in the NFL of being false because they threw an interception. No one accuses Darby or Luther or Whittington, or any of the great Bible teachers of being false because they had to learn doctrines. Yet this is how they treat people studying eschatology. It is hypocrisy and demonstrates that the enemy is fighting against this right now.

Let me use an analogy of prophecy.

I was on a Pee Wee football team, we were playing in our championship game, both teams were undefeated. Our coach had scouted the other team, studied their tapes and told us their big play was an end around. He showed us the formation that they ran this out of. He told us that this play is how they score their touchdowns and would be their biggest play in the game. That was a prophecy.

As a result he designed a blitz to counteract the play. I was the middle linebacker and my job was to read the formation and then call the blitz. In other words I was a watchman, I was to know the prophecy and respond accordingly and warn others.

In the game we were leading 7-0 when they got the ball. We stuffed them on the first two running plays and then they went to this formation. I called out "end around". The quarterback was confused, he paused but then said "down", I yelled out "end around" louder, he again paused but then said "set", I yelled even louder and pointed to our defensive end telling him it was coming his way. "Hut 1", I yelled even louder. "Hut 2", louder still. "Hut 3" the play went on 3, I blitzed, we tackled him in the backfield for a loss of about 5.

They never ran the play again in the entire game. We beat them 45 - 14 or so (our first string was out of the game by the end of the first quarter).

So here is my question, was the coach a false prophet? He said it was their biggest play and yet they only ran it once for minus 5 yards.

Yes there are mistakes.. Because people read prophecy and do not look for the actual event.. yet claim it has already been fulfilled..

Yes, I understand prophecies are talking of future events and I also understand what is critical component for a person to be a "false prophet" is "speaking in the name of the Lord". You didn't say that. Based on what you said Thomas Edison and Tom Brady and all the other Toms are all false prophets.

For Example many people attacked people for being "anti Vaxx" in 2021. But they didn't say that they were speaking in the name of the Lord. They were wrong, but they weren't false prophets.

Fauci lied about it not being a lab leak and about not funding gain of function research, he is a liar, but not a false prophet.

Joe Biden lied about not knowing anything about Hunter's business, he is a liar, but not a false prophet.

People need to know what a false prophet is because you are about to see one on the world stage. He will do miracles, he will say things that come to pass, and he will speak in the name of God.

Good God man, Stick to the conversation. I could care less what Tom Brady or anyone else thinks

I care What God said in Matt 24 about when the great tribulation will come. and how it will end.

Great, and I care about accusing Christians of being false prophets and teachers who teach wrongly and about Christians being ignorant of the False prophet and how to identify him.

Saying something that doesn't come true is hardly proof of a false prophet.

Saying something in the name of the Lord that doesn't come true, that is proof, but be careful how you wield that sword because every genuine prophet was accused of being a false prophet including Jesus.

Performing miracles and giving prophecies that do come true is not proof that you are a prophet of God. You must also declare that Jesus Christ is Lord of all, He came in the flesh and His blood will wash away your sins and there is nothing else needed to be saved but to receive the work that Jesus Christ did. The false prophet will not tell you that, they will tell you that the Antichrist is the Messiah.

Also it is pointless to study the prophecies if you are not clear on the point of them and the point of all of them is to lead people to Jesus Christ, faith in Him and His work of salvation.
