What is the Unpardonable Sin

Jesus is the only person in the word of God who said this. And it was after the Pharisees said that Jesus cast out devils by the power of the devil. Contextually, Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is equating HIS work to that of the devil.

Not Getting Born Again.

I would like to add this to the context: Jesus never said to the Pharisees, "You have blasphemy the Holy." Jesus spoke in the third person, which should be noted. Why is that important?

Jesus, in Matthew chapter 23, called them Hypocrites Jesus "YOU Hypocrites." & times Jesus said that to the Scribes and Pharisees.
He called them Vipers. Jesus did not play with words, But in this case, Jesus showed restraint. Why?

Why would Jesus not say YOU have blasphemed the Holy Spirit? Well, that is because doing this is a sin of knowledge and It is only God who knows. Why? Because Only God can decide what HE will not forgive, man cannot make that judgment. We see in the text the reason the Pharisees said Jesu cast out the devil by the power of the devil. The People were calling Jesus the Son of David. They sought to discredit him, and in ignorance, they made that statement. Therefore The Pharisees could not have done the "unpardonable sin."

This was a serious warning or admonishment, NOT a judgment.

I’ve heard several interpretations of this sin or blasphemy of the Holy Spirit but I’d really like to know exactly what it is and how is it committed and if it’s the sin of unbelief in Jesus can you repent of that sin before you die ?

Simple answer.

If you don't believe in Jesus, then the wrath of God remains upon you, in fact, your destined for destruction.

If you don't believe in Jesus but change your mind, you then are forgiven, i.e. reconciled to God.

Therefore, the disbelief in Jesus is definitely not the unpardonable sin.

Calling the power of the Holy Spirit, even including the gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit.

Calling that power, the power of the devil, is the unforgivable sin.

Anyone, Christian or non-Christian, can commit that blasphemy.

I’m afraid I committed this sin because I once was born again at 19 then fell into unbelief and false deceptions for 30 years but then started believe again 7 months ago …so I was wondering if that’s the unpardonable sin first having believed then walked away … people say if you commit this sin your conscience is seared and maybe mine was during all the years I was away from the faith but it’s not now so I don’t know hat to believe

To blaspheme is to speak evilly.

The difference between stumbling and falling away; is that when we stumble, we get back up.

2 Pet 3: 9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to usward, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance."

If the Pharisees were doing it as the ones being addressed, then it's about Pharisees

Mark 3:29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”—
Is this because you haven't read your Bible, or you simply want to argue?
