The Republicans had all the leverage, the Democrats have been crying about the crisis on the border and all they had to say was "shut down the border or we shut down the government" and they would have done it. Instead they want to give work permits to an estimated 40 million illegals (that is a real estimate of what the number really is) and they pass a CR which is simply Pelosi's budget.

This is why I feel politics is a complete waste of time, all talk, all hypocrisy. Everyone elected in 2022 was running on a campaign of reigning in spending, and instead all we get are CR after CR.

Why do we have a hope? Because we are sanctified.

How do we become sanctified?

If you are sanctified unto God then the Lord will also be sanctified in your heart. Many people have "special treasures". You go into their house and there are things in there they treasure. Perhaps it is a painting, or a piece of furniture, etc. My mom had a baby grand piano which had a prominent place in our living room. Perhaps you have trophies or awards on the wall. Peter is telling us that in our heart Jesus must have the prominent place, like that piano, you must always be ready to sit down by Jesus and give an answer to every man that asks you a reason for the hope you have.

NYC has a population of 10 million, so that is close to 3% of the US population. The total number of illegals that have crossed the border is estimated to be 10 million. So the "fair share" for NYC should be 300,000, not 100,000. When people wanted to control the flow of illegals into the country with a wall NYC was vocal in condemning that as Xenophobic, racist and deplorable. They were the welcome mat to the US, they were a sanctuary city. They virtue signaled, making sure everyone knew they were holier and better than everyone else. Now that they have close to one third of their fair share of illegals they are crying, they are suing, they are throwing little tantrums.

But they don't have the guts to round them all up and deport them to Mexico. And Adams is not the only whiner. And when I said that the American military betrayed the country by simply standing by and doing nothing, that was not accepted as the truth. The solution was quite simple. Mexico declared war on America by allowing and/or encouraging mass migrant invasion since Biden took office (which was backed by the UN and many NGOs). Therefore the invasion would be deemed a national security issue, and the border would be deemed a war zone by the military, which would block further invasion, and also deport all illegals back to Mexico (at Mexico's expense).

The drug cartels are also waging war on America through the flooding of the US with fentanyl, and also by human trafficking. Various diseases which had been eradicated in the USA have been brought back in by the illegals. Now American cities and towns cannot handle the strain put on all resources and housing, and the Democratic mayors are whining and making actual citizens into second-class citizens, while giving illegals every imaginable advantage. We are talking about 15-20 million foreign invaders (including criminals, gangsters, and terrorists, since large numbers are military age men). And border security personnel have been actively colluding with Mexico, as has the Biden administration. Now Biden wants to sue Texas for protecting itself, when illegal immigration has been against the law from the beginng.

Why has no politician recognized this as another aspect of "asymmetrical warfare", since the UN wants to destroy all national borders and undermine all Western nations? Hungary refuses to go along with this agenda.
