I see. Very informative. But your informative here actually supports what I said. The technology itself isn't evil, only its use.

One of my sons is a pharmacist. He's currently doing a residency at the VA. They have developed a monitoring device that can be put in patients bloodstreams that can give feedback in real-time. They are used currently for diabetic patients. Through the use of such devices and telecommunications devices, patients can receive better care in less time enabling doctors to service far more patients while administering superior care and less travel for patients more inconvenienced by travel.
A broom can be used as a cleaning instrument or a weapon. The broom never decides which way someone uses it.

Yeah, each Christian should ask God what they should do to prepare. If God directs you to grow your own food and live off the grid, it would probably be a good thing to set up a bartering system with other Christians. Maybe even have to relocate to make the bartering easier. Maybe get an electric car so you won't have to buy gas, etc.
