I read something from someone's post on Facebook and really saw reason with it on a particular day.
You know, until you are able to speak the love language of the person you're in a relationship with, you may go as far as moving the globe for the person, and the person would still feel like you do not really love him or her.
For instance, in a marital relationship, if the love language of the wife falls under 'acts of service,' and the husband keeps on buying the wife gifts and never renders service to her in any way, for example, assisting her in one way or the other around the house, or offer to do something for her that could mean 30 minutes or an extra hour of sleep for her, and instead keeps buying her gifts; she'll end up feeling unloved or inadequately loved at some point.
That is the same way it is with God. Yes, God has a love language, and it is 'Obedience'- John 14:15- If ye love me, keep my commandments.
So, if you say you are in a relationship with God and truly love Him, the evidence of that love would be in your obedience to His word and His Spirit.
Do you really love God the way you claim to?
