That's a backhanded way that people can be antisemitic, calling people Zionists because they support the Jews. It's the same as calling someone a "n$gger lover" back in the day. It's racist.
It is really sad you cannot differentiate between Zionism from being Jewish either ethnically or by religion.

Does not being in support of black people who are members of black lives matter make you a bigot?

Hatred means different things to different people. The word has been weaponised in recent years to silence the criticism of Communists. The so-called Anti-Defamation League has always been crying wolf about hatred of Jews (many of the acts of hatred being committed by Jews themselves), but few know that the ADL was originally created after the lynching of a Jewish pedophile and murderer, after a corrupt governor overturned his rightful death sentence. If hatred means supporting justice for pedophiles and murderers irrespective of religion, call me a hater. But that's not how God sees hatred.

People simply don't like Nazis or homicidal eugenicists (or pedophiles/rapists/murderers, if we're talking the reason for the creation of the ADL). They didn't like it when the Germans did it in World War II, and they don't like the Israelis doing it today. Just because people side with the opposing side to the Nazis doesn't mean these people hate Germans or Israelis.

The Israeli government has committed sadistic and evil war crimes. The German Nazis had some good policies also, but as with the current regime in Israel, the evil far, far outweighed the good.

I hope the Nazis and war criminals in Israel get the same justice as the Nazis in Germany did circa 1945.
Thank you for setting the record straight on this thread, even after pending mass starvation, documented death of over 10 000 children, rarely negotiating in good faith, people choose to be oblivious to the truth.

No, I can't, it's being used as a sneaky way to be against that Jew, and hide antisemitism. I have yet to someone who is against "Zionists" that don't speak like antisemites.

It depends on how you talk about black people. Pretty easy to spot a racist.

Ridiculous, many Jews have not supported the creation of the nation of Israel, especially at the turn of the last century, so I guess they were/are filled with hate against their own people.
Very impressive how easily you judge people's hearts because of an inability to execute any objectivity at all on this topic.

Yes, Muslims use the word "Zionist" as a pejorative against all Jews. But Orthodox Jews were against secular Zionism (which rejected the Messiah) at the time that the Zionist Movement was active (early 20th century). Neither were Sephardic Jews very keen about Zionism, to the best of my knowledge. Even today, Ultra-Orthodox Jews are not very happy with the government of Israel, which is trying to force them to serve in the military. The government should know better.

And then there is this:
Trump: Jews who vote Democratic ‘hate their religion, hate everything about Israel

Most black people think if you simply disagree with them, that makes you a racist.

BLM is definitely a racist organization

Jesus supports the creation of the nation of Israel and that's all that matters.

When Jesus returns to start His 1000 reign He is returning to an existing nation of Israel

But Orthodox Jews were against secular Zionism

Orthodox Jews in modern times follow a mystical religion call judiaism which has nothing to do with the old testament or the law of moses.

Actually Jesus warned of their very severe and horrible destruction at the hands of the Roman army

"But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children."
Luke 23:28 - 30

Orthodox Jews in modern times follow a mystical religion call judiaism which has nothing to do with the old testament or the law of moses.
However, I do agree on this.

Actually the Torah plays a key role in their system. Call it what you will, but they very definitely believe in "the Messiah" (of course it is not Jesus of Nazareth), and one of the tenets of Orthodox Judaism is the expectation of the Messiah. On the other hand Zionism rejected Messiah altogether. But Christians know that the Messiah they are expecting will be a deceiver -- the Antichrist. At the same time, some (if not many) Orthodox and Ultra-Orthodox Jews are turning to Yeshua ha Mashiach (Jesus the Christ), just as many Muslims are turning to Christ.

That was in 70 AD... God's Word teaches those dead bones will rise again which is the reformation of the nation of Israel which will be here for Jesus to come back to.

As does a lot of extra biblical teaching which is nothing more than mystical new age garbage that is NOT from the Lord.

Do you own a straw man facility? This has nothing to do with my question. Please don’t speak so lightly about children and murder victims. I have seen too many victims in my life already.
I simply answered your straw man. The irony is, if you won't admit your straw man argument was a straw man argument, my statement becomes an accurate reflection of your beliefs.

P.S. If you really have seen many victims in your life, you will agree that the perpetrators should face justice, irrespective of whether they claim to be Jews or not.

What really disturbs me is that the hatred of Jews is on the rise again. Both here and in Europe.

People I know and who I thought were intelligent and good people are just jumping on the bandwagon supporting Palestine no matter what.

I’m not ashamed to say I support Israel and the Jews, but golly how much trouble that causes me.

Nevertheless, I stand by Israel and the Jews!
Suzanna, you are innocent of this situation just by the fact that you are praying & you care. we are supposed to pray for Israel. you can surely pray with concern & not worry. in other words, a positive outlook always with comfort instead of worry. blessings to you.

As you probably noticed I clearly said that I was jumping on your straw man bandwagon.

Yes, I do realize not all Jews are Zionists. And I'm not really advocating for Zionists. We had a Jewish lady here who was against Zionism. It's just that I do see it used a lot by racists to pretend they aren't racists.

I didn't get a chance to look at the link but I have always wonder why Jews and black people vote Dem. Not sure it was a good thing to say though, Dems will have a field day with it.

Why did you badmouth Cajuns?

My reply was concerning the claim that some use straw man arguments.

It had nothing to do with cajuns so you can relax.

No cajuns were harmed in the posting of my post about strawman arguments.

And I'm not really advocating for Zionists.

Jesus is a zionist.

He supports the existence and security of Israel being a nation occupying the land the Father promised to the descendants of Abraham. It was God's idea in the first place for the Jews to have the land.
