From the link:

Jesus experienced hours of limitless pain, cycles of twisting, joint-rending cramps,
intermittent partial asphyxiation, searing pain where tissue is torn from His lacerated
back as He moves up and down againstthe rough timber. Then another agony begins --
a terrible crushing pain deep in the chest as the pericardium slowly fills with serum and
begins to compress the heart. One remembers again the 22nd Psalm, the 14th verse:
“I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax;
it is melted in the midst of my bowels.”

But, His suffering stops on the Cross and when He went in to hell He preached to the spirits and was not being tortured or beat up by the devil in hell as some false preachers teach.

Some of these guys claim Jesus became corrupt becoming a sinner rather than an offering for sin which is what the Bible actually teaches.

Wow, I never heard those things and wouldn't attend a church that preached such.

If you search for "Jesus died spiritually" you'll find some disturbing teachings about this.
why would anyone search for this?

If I may, as brothers in Christ here we should not point to documents containing false doctrines, no good can come of this. We all know some are against Christ, no need to read their corrupt teachings. and possibly tempt ones whose foundational faith is not built on solid ground.

Peace.

I know Kenneth Copeland has preached it. Joyce Meyer used to preach it but I don't know if she still does. Word of Faith mainly; they say Jesus was tormented by Satan in Hell but overcame him. As a result, He was "born again." I guess they forgot about the part where He said on the cross, "It is finished."

It's not the doctrine so much as who is preaching it. People who preach this stuff should be marked and avoided.

Why do you say Jesus went to hell???

God's Word tells in in numerous places that Jesus went to hell after leaving His body on the Cross.

1 Peter 3:18,19 tells us He was preaching to the spirits in prison so we know He was not being tortured by demons while He was there:

Matthew 12:40
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Psalms 86:13
For great is thy mercy toward Me: and thou hast delivered My soul (spirit is inside the soul) from the lowest hell.

Psalms 16:10
For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer (allow) thine Holy One to see corruption.

Acts 2:27 (see Psalm 16:10)
Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption

Acts 2:31
He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Acts 13:35
Wherefore he saith also in another [psalm], Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Psalms 139:8
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

Ephesians 4:8-10
Wherefore He saith, When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
Now that he ascended, what is it but that He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things

Romans 10:7
Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.

1 Peter 3:18,19
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

Revelation 1:18
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

It's not just so-called WOF people preaching it, it was preached long before modern preachers ever got here

Those that know nothing of the false doctrines going around are unable to help those who have been indoctrinated by the false doctrines.

Something good can come out of being knowledgeable about false doctrines and that is being able to present the truth those those that have been effected by false doctrine.

So, you should learn something about catholicism, JWs, Mormans, 7th Day Adventist.

Or at least do what I did and collect teachings that exposes these cults and keep them on your computer so you have teaching to look at when you run across someone imprisoned by one of these cults so you can try to help them get out.

Many of them refuse to hear, but we can certainly plant the seed of the Truth of God's Word and believe the Lord's promise that His Word does not return to Him void that it will accomplish that it was sent to do. (Isaiah 55:11)

Well, the modern Word of Faith preachers are the ones influencing people these days; they're the ones to watch out for.

The reformed theology preachers are far worse and far more dangerous.

At least most WOF preachers teach people living in sin causes their faith to not work.

Reformed theology preachers teach even if one lives in sin they'll still go to Heaven which is false doctrine that causes people to go to hell.

I'm not gonna go there with you. We were talking about one specific false doctrine that's promoted by Word of Faith; now you're turning it into "whose false doctrines are worse." I've said all I had to say about it. Have a blessed day.

Yeah, I didn't think a follower of reformed theology would admit their doctrine is not biblical.

You can take comfort in knowing that ultimately if cornered with the question, the WOF preachers agree with reformed theology that one is "once saved always saved" so their soteriology is just like the false doctrines of reformed theology.

It's funny how the osas people get upset at false doctrine as though sometimes they don't really believe in osas unless one is following their group of reformed theologians.

They seem to forget sometimes that their own doctrine teaches one is saved no matter what.

LOL, sorry, you're way off; keep guessing. Theology has nothing to do with it. I don't make a habit of engaging with people who can't focus longer than a gnat.
