You have a weak opinion of Christians, as if they can so easily be lead away from their principles. How is Trump attempting to (re)define Christian principles rather than (re)establishing them?
Since I took my position from scripture, apparently God has a weak opinion of Christians too. Or maybe He realizes just how persuasive these deceptions will be.

Mammon worship, cheating workers, immorality, self-idolatry, abandoning the poor sick and foreign, hating your enemy, and embracing lies and hypocrisy are not Christian values. For a Christian to support trump, ya gotta look the other way on these, or worse yet embrace them.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There's none of this going on in maga circles.

Not much of either of these going on in liberal circles either - but I don't need to convince anyone here of that.

It's this idea that the enemy of my enemy is my friend that people need to recognize. He's not your friend.

Jesus said that of those who are, many will turn away from him because they are deceived by false prophets

That's what catholics and stripes bring to the table, false doctrine.

Hasn't your argument been that Biden would lead Christians to Christ before Trump would? What solution are we supposed to conclude from that?

No, when did I make that argument?

My argument is:

The left deceives the world (which I usually don't talk about, because I don't believe I need to convince anyone here of that)

The right deceives believers (which far too many don't see, because they are deceived into thinking the enemy of my enemy is my friend)

What do we conclude from that?

We were warned that the world will end up this way. We were were warned that at the same time certain people would lead believers astray. We were never told to stop it, no, we were told to prepare for it.

So I guess the conclusion is, we have to stop trying to change what was prophesied, and instead prepare for it.

We are told to, "Fear not."

We are also told to be wise

So, it's no problem to be in fear, top be a coward as long as we try to be wise?

That's not what Jesus warns about

Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

John Calvin was an unrepentant murderer so according to Jesus, ol John Calvin went to hell.

Tell me, where did this fear come in?

Tell me, where did this fear come in?

I'm a new creature IN Christ Jesus, all things are new and of God for me so I don't have fear.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

You're the one who brought up fear. I'm just wondering why. I'm not fearful, because I have studied and understand scripture and have prepared as scripture tells us to.

What concerns me are the scriptures that say many will NOT be prepared, and because they are not prepared they will turn away from their faith.

People typically don't prepare for things they don't believe they are going to see. Too many already have been deceived into thinking they can change what has been prophesied, and thus are not preparing for it.

So don't be conned into thinking a politician/political party is going to save us. That's not what scripture says will happen.

I invite you to read a book I wrote on the subject. https://sites.google.com/view/whatwilltheendbelike/home?pli=1

Nothing in my posts suggest I'm relaying on government or politicians.

And, I don't need your book because I have THE Book that the Lord provided.

Too many Christians these days ARE looking for a political answer to a spiritual problem. Glad you're not.

And rely not upon your own understanding. Nor on mine; but truth is only available to those who are willing to explore and question what they think they know. I wouldn't expect you to believe what I believe, but it is food for thought and consideration. My Pastor read it, and came to understand a few things differently.

And ya still didn't answer my question of how fear came into the discussion.

Fear is present in most people, and few even know it due to being deceived.

Christians should purposely stand on God's promises and be on the lookout for the wiles of the devil and be ready to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked using the shield of faith which is based on the Truth of God's Word.

Luke 21:26
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Voting none of the above is an odd strategy. You do realize that someone will win anyway, right?
Agreed. If you really want "none of the above" you are better off not voting, that way if say only 10% of the country voted it would take away the legitimacy of whoever is elected.

Left or right, evil will win in November.

I want no part in helping evil win.

Nor should any Christian.
Yes, but voting none of the above lends credibility to the election because they will say how many people voted. You would be better off not voting at all.

The problem with not voting is it makes it easier for them to steal the election.

This is sarcasm, right?
All the good jokes have already been taken, like saying Trump turned into rambo, overpowered the Secret service and from the backseat of the presidential limo took control of the limo and turned it around.

Or how about the absurd -- suing Trump for $450 million because he borrowed money from a bank and paid it back with interest!

Or the raunchy, coming up with names like Fanny and Nathan's hot dog to have the key stone cops admit to election fraud, perjury, etc.
