well your whole purpose of this thread was show how God had chosen us to be in him, then you went on to prove it, your intension was to prove Calvinism wrong on the bases God did not simply choose us.

This is back to front for a start, you where even corrected on that, and chose to ignore it.

You won't see that we where in him before the fall, neither do Calvinists.
why do you find this post boring @7thMoon

Are you suggesting that whenever God speaks, God must mean what the man hearing thinks God means?

Where did God speak of two deaths?
No, I mean if God gives a command to a man, the man needs to understand it as a man and not as if he is God. You think Adam knew God sees a day as a thousand years? That understanding came much later, indeed, even after God became as a man.

This has nothing to do whatsoever with what you where asked.

Obviously you have no idea what sleep means either.

Let me give your brain some more basic knowledge,. when your asleep you don't know what your doing.

Obviously your also lacking common sense.

God was speaking to Adam, it absolutely matters how Adam understood what He meant. You still ignored God spoke of two deaths.
"In the day you eat thereof in dying you shall die."

It is in the plural.

Most translators shy away from it being shown literally because they do not know what to make of it.
So, they translate it "surely die." Some even fight it when someone brings up the true meaning of the Hebrew.

So be it...

Where did God speak of two deaths?
I showed you where, in Gen.2:17 It literally reads "on the day you eat from it, to die you will be dying.

Adam was created spirit, soul and body. When he ate his spirit returned to God because the human spirit is born of God (Jn.3:6) and cannot abide with sin. He died spiritually and that death would cause him to die physically over time. "to die (spiritually) you will be dying (physically)". Now Adam needed to be born again as we all do because of the inherent sin nature (another law in the flesh) prevents God imparting something of Himself (a human spirit) until the issue of sin is dealt. As Christ is the lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world, God could make alive those who believed in Him even before the Cross was finalised in time.

I put you on ignore for two days, but after I saw some of your replies whilst logging in as a guest to read and learn, and have some privacy from people like you, I noticed your butting in to responses I made to other people.

Since responding to you I've noticed how you only respond to other people's ideas.

Or how you only try to work other people out instead of yourself.

This is called projecting. And not having a brain.

Did they change the meaning of naive? Does it now mean correct? Seriously, when God finished creating, He looked upon His creation and said it was very good...Genesis 1:31.

A Whale is brought forth on salt water and its mother conceives it in salt water, but it does not have salt water circulating around inside its body. We are all born in a world saturated in sin, and are all conceived in a world saturated in sin. But this does not mean we are born and conceived with sin in us.
if you believe that then you do submit to God's word which proclaims the doctrine of original sin and are not yet a Christian because you have not yet been humbled to understand that sin is not simply what a person does but what a person is, which is cursed from conception. If this was not true, it would be unjust for God to kill any babies if they are assumed to be without sin.

Psa 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb; They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.

Rom_5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned

Yet, you were not born again until you knowingly believed in Christ.

In other words? You were not born regenerated.
That's why Jesus said we need to be born again.

I said that to clear up some ambiguity your wording could have led some into....
the reason why I knowingly believed in Christ is because I was first born again by grace.

Psa_119:49 Remember the word to Your servant, Upon which You have caused me to hope.

Psa 65:4 Blessed is the man You choose, And cause to approach You,

Php 1:29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

Act 18:27 And when he desired to cross to Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him; and when he arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace;

Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Eph 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

God choses us for a purpose.
He chose His elect to glorify His eternal grace and the reprobate are chosen to glorify the goodness of His perfect, holy, righteous, just and eternal wrath.

Rom 9:22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,
Rom 9:23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,
Rom 9:24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

man believed in God before the fall, because God made man spiritualy alive before the fall.

He also still believed in God after fall.

Man gets saved Because God wants to save them.

Again your opening up and unnecessary debate.

Was you chosen to be justified before you where born to
It is grace that justifies (Rom 3:24) and it is given to God's elect before time began (2 Tim 1:9) but they are justified in time when they are granted a new heart and spirit (Eze 36:26) to believe on Christ (Rom 5:1,9).

That would be telling her not to believe the gospel, and opening an unnecessary debate.
Everyone is commanded to repent and believe the Gospel which is the means that God uses to bring His people to Himself but only His elect are granted the ability to respond and obey His command because they are made new creatures to do so.

Mat_22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen."

2Co 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Man indeed can believe many things after the Fall but because He became spiritually dead (Gen 2:17), he can not have an intimate knowledge of God unless he is first made spiritually alive which is why Christ came to restore the image of God that man had lost.

Col 3:10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,

man became spiritualy dead by one man, so God decided to save man.

This is the reason he decided to save man no other reason.

No one said "total depravity." We were born with a sin nature that is in our body.
God creates the soul.
Our parents produce the sin nature body that our soul lives inside of.

Total depravity would indicate that our soul is doomed to be depraved even after it leaves the body.
God saved our souls only. Not the body.

Total depravity would mean there would be nothing for God to save.
Wow! Your degree of illogical non sequitur hop-scotching is breath-taking!
