Maybe if they had not been held in open air prison with no rights to self determination they could have lived different lives.

All people living in Israel have full equal rights.

There are no inferior or second-class citizens, unlike non-whites in South Africa or minorities in Islamic or Arab countries. Moreover, Arabs occupy senior positions on the Israeli police force, the Knesset and the Israeli judiciary. For example, Salim Joubran, who currently serves on the Israeli Supreme Court, is a Christian Arab. South Africans living under apartheid could only dream of obtaining these types of positions.

Ishmael Khaldi, an Islamic Bedouin, is currently a diplomat in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Majalli Wahabi (Druze) was the acting president of Israel in 2007. These are just a few examples out of the many minority groups holding prominent positions in Israeli society.

Really, then why did they reject the two state solution then, and every peace offer since?!
Because they don't believe in Jesus Christ.

If Hamas killed an innocent Israeli,Then the Jews will kill Hamas.right?
But in the process, innocent Palestinians killed by Jews by the war of mistake.Does this count as obeying the law of Moses? Do not kill.

So there is only one way, choose to believe in Jesus Christ.love your enemies.

Keep the patience till the end,Even Palestinian Hamas killed innocent Jews.

Otherwise,The two-state solution can never be accepted by either side.

Palestinians believe that Israeli Jews invaded their homeland. And Jews believe that they must get back all their promises land.

Like I said,Only believe in Jesus...To find a way to solve the problem.both them.

We are talking about Gaza not Israel.

Having said that, Israel has violated International Law in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights multiple times and continues to do so.

@Magenta

I feel like much of what I've shared in this thread answers this question already, so I'll attempt to be as succinct as possible (for me...).

Parable:
Let's say you witnessed out your window a gang bullying me and my family and to save me you let us run into your house. We thank you and eventually, the police come and jail the gang. To make sure we're completely safe you say we're free to hang out for as long as we need and help ourselves to whatever's in the fridge. We thank you. Hours pass and as it is now dark we ask to stay there the night. You agree, providing linen for us to bed in the living room and on the floor.

The next day, you awaken to a commotion in your master bathroom as you hear me singing badly in the shower. You head to your kitchen and see my other family cooking food for each other. The doorbell rings and a couple of my cousins are let in. You look and see a few more people than I came in with, wondering what's going on!

You look closer and you see my family rifling through your stuff as if it's ours. You protest! But instead of listening, my family ignores you. You return to me as I'm making my way down complaining about my family but instead of addressing your grievance, I say, "My great great great grandfather used to own this house. It was in my family for generations before we lost it in the foreclosure. It's ours by right! You're actually our guest! And we have just gone through such a traumatic ordeal with that gang that we need to recover and start over."

You answer, "But that's not my problem! I wasn't that gang! This is my house."

Then I say, "Well you sure are sounding like a gang trying to hurt me...I think I'll call the police."

Historic Quotes:

Here are quotes from the first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion expressing their intentions when they entered into the land.

https://christianchat.com/threads/the-hatred-of-jews.214439/post-5275353

“After the formation of a large army in the wake of the establishment of the state, we will abolish partition and expand to the whole of Palestine “ — Ben Gurion, p.22 “The Birth of Israel, 1987” Simha Flapan.

Every school child knows that there is no such thing in history as a final arrangement — not with regard to the regime, not with regard to borders, and not with regard to international agreements.” — Ben Gurion, War Diaries, 12/03/1947 following Israel’s “acceptance” of the U.N. Partition of 11/29/1947 (Simha Flapan, “Birth of Israel,” p.13)

Israeli leadership always intended to ethnically cleanse the land and expand into all territory.

Recent Proof:

It was never Israel's intention to allow two states. There's what Israel tells the international community and then what the state of Israel actually says and does when no one is looking.

The following is a video of a young girl posting a video snippet from a Jewish woman speaking with someone whom she feels free to share details with of their long-standing plan for Gaza.

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPRTgfXhx/
(Just confirm you're a human and then click view as "guest" and the video will play.)

If you can't play the video, she says, "we have 500 families ready to move in at a drop of a hat to just move into North, Central, and South Gaza and people who will start building. We have names of towns, we have where we're building them. It's already been planned and we have people signed up. You can't leave it without Jews in the Gaza Strip. It's too big of a piece of land, it's too important to let it become HAMAS town."

...so it's not about defending themselves.

By the way, this is why the app is such a problem now because they can't control the narrative anymore when video proof like this can be spread so quickly.

Why do Palestinians reject peace?

While Israel offers peace agreements and ceasefires, like with Oslo, Israeli bulldozers continue to demolish the homes of current residents and then build new settlements that move Israelis into their territory. How can you have peace if during negotiations the other side of the conflict never stops expanding through demolition even for a moment? So oftentimes "peace" is just a smokescreen.

For example, the West Bank was meant to be Palestinian-owned territory but if you look at the map Israel has paved roads and built houses dissecting every neighborhood where occupied Palestinian houses once stood. And then the IDF outlaws any Palestinians from traveling on any Israeli-owned roads, including ones that are created right through Palestinian neighborhoods.

"More than 173,000 Palestinian homes have been demolished in Israel and the Occupied Palestine Territory (OPT) since 1947." - Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions

Israel has also built 12ft partitioning walls between Palestinian neighborhoods cutting off the people from each other.

So if you can't use any main roads or bypass roads that lead to your home, and you can't walk through walls to meet your neighbors, how can they live?

....I failed to keep this short.

Perhaps ask me rather than feel exposed why I agreed.
No that's ok HeIsHere. My reply was more of a light joke for Magenta (I've known her on here for a while). I have no problem defending why I agree to anything on here.

Isn't it God's decision who He wants to give this land to? Obviously to the Jews - it's even promised in the Bible. Why would a Christian want the land to go to Palestinians who haven't been promised it, especially when the Palestinians hates Jews so much that they want to wipe Israel out?

You're fighting God. It's a hopeless cause. Palestinians will never get that land no matter how big the pity party they throw or how much support they get.

I think if Palestinians asked God nicely, God would give them their own land that they'll be happy with.

Because they don't believe in Jesus Christ.
...But...neither does Israel.

In fact, while we're all sharing extrabiblical text here's what a passage from the Talmud says about Jesus:

Gittin 56:18
18a The Gemara relates: Onkelos bar Kalonikos, the son of Titus’s sister, wanted to convert to Judaism.

Gittin 57:3-4
3 Onkelos then went and raised Jesus the Nazarene from the grave through necromancy. Onkelos said to him: Who is most important in that world where you are now? Jesus said to him: The Jewish people. Onkelos asked him: Should I then attach myself to them in this world? Jesus said to him: Their welfare you shall seek, their misfortune you shall not seek, for anyone who touches them is regarded as if he were touching the apple of his eye.

4 Onkelos said to him: What is the punishment of that man, a euphemism for Jesus himself, in the next world? Jesus said to him: He is punished with boiling excrement. As the Master said: Anyone who mocks the words of the Sages will be sentenced to boiling excrement.
And this was his sin, as he mocked the words of the Sages.

...forgive even referencing such blasphemous text but I'm just pointing out what they teach and preach...but we give them a pass and not Palestinians because of who they claim to be.

The partition of land in 1947 was that the Jews were allocated 55% of the land when they represented less than half the population of the Palestinians.

I think if Palestinians asked God nicely, God would give them their own land that they'll be happy with.

Maybe they could petition the Rothschild's for another piece of land and then another Lord from the English gentry can make a declaration like the "Balfour Declaration" and create a state for them.

🥪
Truly, it's The Almighty's decision who it gets to. At all times it's His decision. But if you recall, because the Jews rejected His Son they were kicked out of the land. In fact, each time they didn't do what The Almighty told them they were kicked out and did not get to return until they repented.

So, would you agree that when Israel was steeped in sin The Almighty gave the land to other people? That that's what He then wanted? That was His will each time His conditions weren't met for it?

Would you also agree that His conditions have never changed?

It would seem that I'm supporting The Almighty's stance.

So then the next question is, "Well, we see that a people calling themselves Israel have taken possession of the land. So doesn't that mean God wants Israel to have it now?" This is a reasonable question, but only if we assume that who they claim to be is true and not a lie.

So then we return to the scriptures to learn what The Almighty's conditions are for possessing the land. Was it merely identity? No, His conditions include but are not limited to:

- obedience to commandments
- not killing the innocent
- Belief in the Messiah

It was never simply about them being who they are. If that was the case nothing, not even their murder of Christ would've kicked them out of the land. This is why Paul explains in Romans 2 the requirements of being a true Jew, a few chapters before the well-known Romans 11 chapter that explains their punishment. He wasn't preaching on replacement but preaching on requirement.

The people currently in the land do none of the things I've listed, and in fact, do the complete opposite. We're forced to pit His Word against what we're seeing.

If what we're seeing is true, then God's Word is void.
If God's Word is never void, then what we're seeing is a lie.

And that lie was prophesied to happen in several places in scripture.

Did you notice I was asking someone else?
Yup, I was trying to save you some time, lol

Actually I am curious how he will respond.
I doubt there will be a long term solution, ideology is not destroyed on the battlefield, it will only come back stronger.
