It isn't necessarily a matter of what I believe, it is a matter of what our Bibles report. And what our Bibles report is that human beings have a limited sense of free will.
no where in the does it say you have any free will.

Having a sense of free will makes no sense either.

What is a sense of free will

Free Will is the unrestricted and uninfluenced ability to make decisions on one's own accord.

err no will is something God saved you with

Grace means saved by Gods Good will.

Will also means self control for you and the will that lives in you either life or death and it also mean your self control to live.

I am a child of God. Are you?
I believe so. For I understand the below Scripture:

John 9:39-41 NLT - "Then Jesus told him, "I entered this world to render judgment--to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind." Some Pharisees who were standing nearby heard him and asked, "Are you saying we're blind?" "If you were blind, you wouldn't be guilty," Jesus replied. "But you remain guilty because you claim you can see."

Never heard of God saving a person with free will. That's the opposite of what Scripture reports.

Self-control is Godly behavior. Even athiest exhibit Godly behavior when they are required to be orderly during their evil meetings. They follow the Plan of God when they require self-control. Self-control is an illusion, for when a person possesses, self-control, they are possessing the behaviors that the Lord desires.

Pretty interesting ideas you have there. :D

It seems many conflate the making of choices with having free will...

Everyone, even the Elect in this age, must choose/make a decision to follow Jesus.

Yes. And it doesn't matter how many times I post the Scriptures that show that God gives His Children new hearts that are pre-wired to love, worship, and obey Him . . . it just doesn't matter. Nothing penetrates.

well if you don't have a will to live what self control do you have.

And why are you conflating free choice to free will

Hey, I have a question for you, considering that you have free will to choose the Devil or God, depending on your heart at any given moment of the day. Do you relate to Paul when he wrote the following:

Romans 7:21-24 NLT - "I have discovered this principle of life--that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God's law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death?"

I don't understand your first question.

If I don't understand free will, then help me out! Tell me! :D

“at any given moment of the day?” Being saved is a one-time event, Charlie.
