Some food items have gone up over 100% here. Simple things, like pasta. No more one kilogram of
macaroni for a dollar, nope! More like anywhere from 2-3 dollars for 500 grams on some types of pasta.
Many other things, a 50% increase sounds more accurate than anything close to 20%. But not all.
Still, one bag of groceries can cost over $50.00 and sometimes closer to or more than $100.00.
I feel sorry for young people, and those who are not well situated financially.

It's similar to when they say they have cut spending when all they have done is lessened the rate of increase. They are still spending more money.
If the United States budget went back to pre-Covid spending levels, we would already have a balanced budget.

Yup. I remember that well. Something like 2-3 years ago.
We sent loads of it back to family in the Philippines at that price.
Price has more or less quadrupled since then.

Overall inflation is more like 50%. And in some cases, 100%. Which is criminal. But the blame is not on the retailers but the political leaders, who are committed to wrecking the economies and printing money without limit. They should all be arrested and locked up.

The mid-lower rungs of the useful idiots/cannon fodder have little to zero feedback from the highest level sovereign puppeteers.
But the highest level chiefs of the proxies are informed to a certain extent IMO. Probably enough to save their skin.....in the short term anyways. Until their usefulness has been exhausted.

Trumps policies are not the problem.
His ego (which has him yearning for adulation) is the problem. It is his way of coping with his deficiencies. Of which there are many.

His ego blinded him to the identity of the many entrenched enemies in his midst. And the scope of the vast networked conspiracy against him. And was likely the weakness that had him fail to deal with these opponents by dismissal or worse.

At least it looks this way on the surface.

I think this is being blown out of proportion. Iran probably let Israel know they weren't going to use nukes and that was the red line they agreed not to cross.

The Biden admin refused to participate......cuz $150 oil is bad for the election. Simple as that.

He promised that if elected he would not start WW3 with a mean tweet at 3am and he has delivered. Even if you want to say that giving Iran the green light on the attack on Israel started this war you can't call that email a "mean tweet at 3am".

Who cares if it is a mean tweet, or a stupid tweet, or no tweet at all? Biden has supported Iran against Israel one way or another. So did Obama.

Biden has also been pestering Netanyahu daily to allow Hamas to survive and keep on doing what they have been doing. This is pure evil. "Cease Fire" "Cease Fire" "Cease Fire". A genuine president would have put Hamas and Iran on notice on October 7 that America would join Israel in wiping out the terrorists (who have also threatened "Death to America"). This is not about WWIII at all, so that is not even relevant. It is about the survival of Israel while surrounded by enemies.

Iran attacked to save face but doesn't want this to escalate, I suspect that it is Israel that wants this to escalate. They want to destroy the nuclear capability before Iran is building nuclear weapons.
