I believe many confuse or apply both to the same meaning, but throughout the entire Bible there is obvious Election and Elect. From the usage of YHVH's words in Deuteronomy and Paul's explanations in Romans and Ephesians show us how many have made these 2 concepts mean the same thing. Which is obviously incorrect because Election is a process and Elect is confirmation of that process.

The Apostle Peter gives us great insight in his second Epistle, 10 Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election.

Peter shows us we are part of the process (Election) but it's our job to confirm being Elect.

Peter confirms predestination, or the process of Election, mentioned by Paul. But Peter goes a step further instructing that we "confirm" that process.

The Elect just speaks about those who ""Are Saved.""
Election speaks about those who ""can be Saved.""
To be Elect means you have confirmed the Election process.

So many false doctrines have combined the 2 and we see it in this thread.

You are the only one left posting negatively. Judge for yourself.
Yep in case you didn't notice he had quite a few Hiden insults in there.

Also it wasn't Peter he called satan

It was actually satan Jesus was telling to leave not Peter.

Jesus could see what others couldn't.

It's like a gift all blessed people have.

I Was having a meaningful discussion with someone until he hijacked the discussion, and started to being Mr self centred again.

I was looking into a lot of understanding from others and we where getting somewhere until he hijacked the discussion and turned it into a barrage of unnecessary comment.

I'm sick of it to be honest I can't have a discussion with anyone here without someone butting in and changing the direction

I am only disagreeing because that was not my experience... in fact I experienced confession = agreeing with God concerning my condition before Him, long before I repented and came to believe. Some have told me I was saved then, but I find that nigh impossible to believe, since I was devoid of faith at that time.
I understand. And it's different for everyone. My oldest 2 sons were under conviction for several months before actually being saved. My experience was very quick. In some testimonies I've heard, there was just a realization that God was now present with them. So when you stated earlier in our conversation that salvation is myriad, you were spot on.

Longsuffering is a fruit of the Spirit. I frankly don't care if I'm insulted. Blessed are the peacemakers, not the troublemakers.

I like that word myriad! Yes, we get on the razor's edge of understanding and things can fall either way, but for me, I experienced the conviction of being a sinner and knowing I was unworthy of the love and forgiveness God bestowed on me 15 years before I became a believer ... which is why I was asking some of the questions I did of @awelight :)

Yes where seeing the typical slanderous attitude coming from the typical self centred Jew, who in the real world attacks God everyday thinking hes more chosen than another precious life yet to be saved.

Only trouble is he's in exile with his stained through rags
I'm slanderous? Your words just made me look like a gentleman.

I am not in exile. My Home is in Heaven, not Israel.

You better check your tires. You are getting too close to that rock wall you keep racing towards....

It's not uncommon for people who have been saved for some time to look back on their lives and see instances where God had come in part and put His mark on them long before they were actually saved.
I've seen God place these spiritual markers on my own children.

I agree but this thread was started to cause trouble as it was aimed directly at one person.

And she won't admit.

Neither will others admit here there deliberately trying to cause trouble for me.

Ive been on the recieving end of people trying to provoke me for weeks especially him.

And I've given him multiple peace offerings.

But making peace isn't always possible with some.

And in order for there to be peace there has to be a willingness from the other party.

Jesus gave his life for peace.

But that's only the half if it.

His sword is going to divide and confront those who don't want peace.

And when the truth is spoken it will judge the intent of the heart.

Now I've raised this question a hundreds times and got no answer.

Faith is about believing,

Revalation 3.5 clearly states all life is in the book of life unless it's removed.

That means. Spiritual all life on earth has spiritual life living in them who have all been chosen for election.

I can't get anyone who argue about being chosen to even answer if they believe this.

And the word clearly says it's true.

To err is human; to forgive, divine.

People are often offensive. There is no law stating we must take offense.

Does it say?

.......................... Blessed are those who aid and abet trouble makers?

Does it say?

...............................Blessed are those those who want peace for trouble makers so they can dig in deeper than before?

And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want
an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. For such people are
false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." 2 Corinthians 11:12-14

I also have a law that I will not take offence.

And another law that I will not serve two masters. So I dont hate people.

It says you can not serve two masters as you'll hate one and not love the other.

Whats becoming evidently clear here is we have Jewish people who are not Christian Jews

Oh I see you are Jewish

That explains why you won't share your beliefs without arguing.
Why even argue with that?

God does not care how you defy and deny at present.

For you are giving Him what you will not be able to deny and defy when you face Him.

God is Divinely efficient in all He does.

By trying to trip us up will leave you with no leg to stand on....

Enjoy the view while you can...

I haven't chosen a side. For someone who promotes himself as a teacher and purveyor of spiritual discernment, you clang alot. You can post as you like, but void of love, you might as well just break in a new drum set.

I'm not interested in you defending Jews until the death .

Or your vain attempts to provoke people or attack Christian beliefs

If you was a Jew who had kindness it wouldn't be an issue, as I know plenty, and one Jewish family who I regularly see and play soccer with.

And have meals with.

But there not like you a fake Jew

Now get the message I don't want to talk to you

That's not what I'm seeing. I just see a lack of genuine love. It's easier to put yokes on than take them off and tighten bonds than loosen them.

Remember for next time. .............. Do a curtsey when you say that.

You err.. We are not to forgive anyone who is denying any wrongdoing.

You, like him; have freely misused the Word to suit your own immediate need for seeking self vindication.

Keep going.... You are the Lord's problem to deal with.

I am only observing the process, and noting the great patience of the Lord.
