You are correct in that you are wrong on a lot of this.
Especially with Russian thinking and Chinese culture. Both are opportunistic....

Russia wants to restore the USSR's lands. Because they believe that once they were conquered by Russia they forever belong to Russia regardless of them having their independence. The Eastern section of Ukrain has mines that are the major source of income for Ukraine. Holding these will Bankrupt Ukraine eventually.
Russia is currently getting resources through Azerbaijan....who is not under any embargo and everything else is coming from Africa where Russian private armies operate (they did Bakhmut then went back to Africa where they rule with terror)

Which is why Biden is failing. This could have been avoided completely. Putin's interview with the American idiot Tucker Carlson demonstrated Putin's complete delusional status. Trump could have stopped this but the MIC was desperate to have a war. They got Biden to allow it. (Disgusting behavior IMHO)

China has ALWAYS hated Taiwan. They are exiles along with the Emperor who wanted Christianity and Free Market Capitalism when the communists took over. Taiwan is a prison island of exiles....but that island now has the ability to buy the Mainland China. China has had massive corruption, a banking crisis, and a bond crisis which created excess housing. Complete cities of apartments that are empty. No one paying rent to pay back bond holders.
Taiwan has investments from the entire free world. Japan, Australia, Germany, UK, Sweden, and Singapore.
They have had the skilled manpower to make computer chips. China itself tried to control the entire computer chip market back in the 80's by flooding the market with chips. But newer, Faster chips made CCP chips obsolete.

China has already nationalized all Hong Kong banks to strip them of cash. But it wasn't enough to fix their crisis.

So they want to steal the whole world's investment money (from Micron to Intel, NVIDIA and more) and control the world's supply of computer chips.

However, just because China wants the machines that make chips doesn't mean they know how to operate them. We refuse to sell them any chip fabs. And the operators will get killed in any war. (Scorched earth policy) not to mention all the Korean citizens, Japanese, and Singapore citizens that work on Taiwan.
I haven't been following up on the microchip manufacturing world, but I do like kettle chips. So good!

Interesting view points. I hope for the best, don't really want to argue on something, that I'm not sure about.

Just trying to stay informed. A country that many people forget about is India. They are ranked the 4th strongest military and they have known to put up a good fight. They have had a hard history and know how to persevere.

Anyways, I don't have any strong opinions, if find good articles post them in here. War scares me, not gonna lie.

Almost Heaven West Virginia
It looks like only some countries in Africa are having big families on average.

The West in on the decline, that would be hard to argue against. Still strong, but a shell out it's glory days.
How true. When I was a young boy, my Dad told me how the globalists would have wars that killed off a lot of men and increase production. What I finally discovered was the military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned about In his exit speech.
The globalists now want to replace us with radicals and commies that are more easily controlled.
It is certainly far from the USA of the past.
Some may say, then why are so many still coming here?

Answer: Third world countries are always horrible as in poverty and starvation.

Answer: They are sent by foreign governments to empty their criminal population.

Answer: They are sending young men to replace those here and establish a foothold.

Answer:. They plan to take over all resources of land, food, water, minerals and infrastructures once they activate their armies.

There's literally a blizzard of propaganda out there. Like trying to find the silver pin in a haystack pile of chrome ones.

And it's getting worse.

"The most recent leaflet, written in English, requests foreigners to join a 'special' unit in the Russian Army and highlights a monthly salary of $2,200, a signing on payment of $2,000, a Russian passport, free medical treatment and training," the UK Ministry of Defense said in an intelligence report on the X Social Network on Monday.

According to the UK Defense Intelligence, online recruitment adverts were distributed during the middle of 2023 specifically appealing to citizens of neighboring countries, sich as Armenia and Kazakhstan, with monthly salary offers of $1,937 and signing on payments of $5,140. During 2023 Russia had also been approaching central Asian migrants within Russia. More recently there have been reports of migrants from India and Nepal recruited and sent to fight in Ukraine.

The report suggests that "many of those that have been recruited are not professional soldiers but migrant workers and have been coerced to fight under false pretenses or with the offer of financial incentives."

With the shortfalls of recruiting in the U.S. military, military aged men and woman, should get a little nervous about a possible draft. Especially, considering a possible two-sided war front.

"The most recent edition of the US Army War College’s academic journal includes a highly disturbing essay on what lessons the US military should take away from the continuing war in Ukraine. By far the most concerning and most relevant section for the average American citizen is a subsection entitled “Casualties, Replacements, and Reconstitutions” which, to cut right to the chase, directly states, “Large-scale combat operations troop requirements may well require a reconceptualization of the 1970s and 1980s volunteer force and a move toward partial conscription.”

An Industrial War of Attrition Would Require Vast Numbers of Troops

The context for this supposed need to reinstate conscription is the estimate that were the US to enter into a large-scale conflict, every day it would likely suffer thirty-six hundred casualties and require eight hundred replacements, again per day. The report notes that over the course of twenty years in Iraq and Afghanistan, the US suffered fifty thousand casualties, a number which would likely be reached in merely two weeks of large-scale intensive combat.

The military is already facing an enormous recruiting shortfall. Last year the army alone fell short of its goal by fifteen thousand soldiers and is on track to be short an additional twenty thousand this year. On top of that, the report notes that the Individual Ready Reserve, which is composed of former service personnel who do not actively train and drill but may be called back into active service in the event they are needed, has dropped from seven hundred thousand in 1973 to seventy-six thousand now."

What was the youngest you could be drafted in WWII?

After the United States entered World War II, amendments to the Selective Training and Service Act on December 20, 1941, made all men between the ages of 20 and 44 liable for military service, and required all men between the ages of 18 and 64 to register. -wiki

Russia, China and Iran know that game plan, why would they allow the US to fight the war that way?

1. When the US entered those forever wars the dollar was king. They have created BRICS because they are not willing to play that game and if they want to change it will have to be with a different currency.

2. The forever wars have winners and losers. The big winner being the US that can print money, give it to the military industrial complex and then sell the debt to the rest of the world. That is not going to happen anymore. China was our biggest customer they are now dumping the debt the fastest. Japan used to be our biggest customer, their economy is in shambles and they are no longer a buyer, actually a seller. The UK was the biggest buyer before Japan and they also have an economy in shambles.

3. The biggest holders of US debt by far are the US banks which have bought this debt with US deposits. The problem is most people in this country are maxed out and are pulling money out of the bank, not depositing. If the banks have to redeem their debt at a big loss they will go bankrupt. Then the people who still do have money in savings are pulling it and putting it into money markets which pay a higher interest. Bottom line, is we are on the brink of a major banking collapse.

4. But it is worse than that because commercial real estate is getting clobbered. It is a bloodbath and banks are being left holding the bag.

5. But it is worse than that. We ran out of buyers on the 10 and 20 year bonds so Yellen went to short term maturations. As a result one third of our 34.5 trillion debt will be redeemed in the next 12 months. That is a ten fold increase over what it used to be just a few years ago.

6. Add to that the interest payment on US debt has tripled since Biden has been president from $500 billion a year to $1.5 trillion.

7. But it is worse than that because as this debt gets redeemed and replaced with short term debt in a year we may need to redeem half of the 34.5 trillion debt.

8. And the kicker is trying to do this will force interest rates higher causing overall interest payments to increase as well.

But we are heading into WW3 and the US cannot scale back its budget nor can it somehow cause our economy to ramp up because globally the world is in a mess, international trade is down, (Traffic through Suez canal is half what it used to be and through Panama canal is a 33% down). Our oil reserve is almost completely drained, and the Ukraine war has emptied the country of standard ordinance leaving us wide open to invasion.

The Suez canal traffic maybe down due to pirates, but NATO is in there calming things down.

https://www.reuters.com/markets/com...cks-impacting-shipping-suez-canal-2023-12-18/

That's rather gloomy way of looking at the U.S., but rest assured, the Federal Reserve Bank will never run out of money. They can print money endlessly. The dollar would take a hit, such as it is now, but compared to the rest of the West, the dollar will look strong.

The U.S. Military is still the bully and any country trying to invade, could be nuked. That is enough threat for most.

The dollar is backed by bullets and petrol, so countries that try to break away from the dollar, may get bullets for it's efforts. China and Russia don't want to play that no more.

It appears we maybe in a war time economy, and the U.S. is the biggest supplier of military equipment, so see how that goes. Maybe they can sell enough weapons, to boost the economy.

Rest assured, the US fiat currency will go the same way as every other fiat currency. The US empire will collapse just like the British Empire. Like mother, like daughter.

That is very possible.

The U.S. Dollar has never defaulted, but if you point to Nixon temporarily take the dollar of the gold standard, than maybe it did default. It was just temporarily, any time now, the dollar will be backed by gold again. :)

An ounce of gold buys a good bespoke suit today, same as 50 years ago and same as a hundred years ago. Gold is a very stable standard of value.

Over the last 18 months the US dollar has lost 50% of its value relative to gold.

They are gonna change to a CBDC, the world does not care what the US congress votes.

A digital currency makes it very easy to shut down criminals, makes it easy to eliminate tax fraud, and it gives the government supreme power over the peons citizens. The Kings and Queens Elites Honorable leaders are tired of having serfs deplorables citizens standing up to them with their insolence.

China warns of Taiwan 'war' as military drills encircle island

"China warned on Friday of war over Taiwan and said it would ramp up countermeasures until "complete reunification" was achieved, as Chinese forces conducted military drills around the self-ruled island.

Warships and fighter jets encircled Taiwan on the second day of exercises that Beijing said were a test of its ability to seize the island, days after its new president was sworn in."
