‭1 Corinthians 13:4-13 AMPC‬
[4] Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. [5] It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. [6] It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. [7] Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. [8] Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth]. [9] For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect). [10] But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded). [11] When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside. [12] For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God]. [13] And so faith, hope, love abide [faith–conviction and belief respecting man's relation to God and divine things; hope–joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love–true affection for God and man, growing out of God's love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Thank you, JJGS! Hmmm, first and foremost it is God's Word which is the inspiration and the motivation...
and the desire to share it. Heh, there is a lot I could say about it because so much is involved in the
design of these creations, but really, I just want them to speak for themselves, even though I do
explain the process from time to time when asked about it, partly so it is known I am actually
designing these and not stealing from others' work and just putting my name on them.
I have been falsely accused of that before LOL. For me they are labors of love

Magenta, do you have artwork for this?

Meditate on this:

‭II Corinthians 5:14-21 NKJV‬
[14] For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; [15] and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. [16] Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. [17] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. [18] Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, [19] that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. [20] Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. [21] For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Just would like to know where your inspiration comes from. God's Word is already inspired by the Holy Spirit, so that's a great focus!!! ;-)

Wonderful. How old are you? Are you a graphic designer?
I am 69 .:D. I have worked in the photo finishing industry from the day of my 21st birthday after applying at one lab a number of times. (There were only two photo labs that I knew of in my home town and I had heard bad things about the other one, so I never applied there.) Initially they would not hire me because I had no experience, but they finally did because I persisted and also asked, how will I ever get any experience if nobody hires me? It worked. They had hired others in the meantime, and they had all quit after a short while, whereas I stayed for about a year and a half, and then moved to the west coast and immediately secured my second lab job, where I was employed for about five years. When that job ended, I was hired at my lab of choice where I have been since 1982. It was much larger and provided a wide variety of services connected to printing, but I have mostly always printed and colour corrected work for quality control. I did a lot of spotting also when it was done by hand, but now a lot of that sort of thing is done digitally, and I have been printing digital files for about twenty years now. We lost close to 80% of our business with digital! I have always credited God with providing me with that first job as a 21st birthday present, because photo printing is the only thing I knew I wanted to do after being exposed to photography and darkroom work during my one year of college. No pun intended .:). During my early years doing digital work I learned a few remedial skills in photoshop, though mostly that sort of thing was done in another department, and that is the program I use to design my Scripture panels... I had played around a bit with image files before I began designing Scripture panels and done work for friends and that sort of thing, freebies, because digital retouching can be very expensive. I started designing these panels in 2018.

What's your favorite music?
I like modern praise and worship music though I mostly sit in silence
while at home. At work and in my car, I listen to Christian talk radio
.:)

What is your favourite music?

PS ~ I work part time now, three days a week, six hour days.

Yes, sorry, it is my auto signature that gets automatically posted under every post I make. Mine is an
image I designed that says, Embrace God's Grace and Rejoice in His Everlasting Mercy and Love.
For Freedom Christ Has Set Me Free.
Underneath that are two links to threads I have created.

Also, I would not call myself a digital designer, although I am designing digitally. I am collaging with bits and pieces that are freely offered by others and made available online for use in personal projects with the caveat of no financial gain. I often do make many changes to the individual pieces I collect, and as I put them together to form my design, I make many edits and alterations to most of them, starting with correcting them for colour and contrast. I have also used famous people's faces which are basically in the public domain, though again, I often radically change their features, and especially the longer I was doing this, the more adept I became and also had more ephemera to choose from in my collections' folders... backgrounds, borders, frames, flowers, faces, facial features, dresses, special effects etc. Birds and butterflies. Lots of butterflies and flowers! I have spent hours at a time looking through what people offer, and sites designed to provide such things. Having worked looking through tens of millions of pictures throughout my career has no doubt helped me in this regard, as sometimes one site may have close to a thousand images of just one type of flower, and I look at every single one of them (not all at once!), selecting and saving those I think I might have use for, which might only be a dozen or so. I search by category, and when I find I am drawn to a particular person's work and style, I will then go to just their account and start looking at everything they have to offer. I found one photographer whose work I saved a lot of what she made freely available on Pixabay: Jill Wellington. If a site requires that I give attribution, I do not save anything from there, because I have thousands and thousands of bits and pieces to work with, and it would be far too complicated to keep track of stuff like that and give that info every time I post a panel.

What I would say is that I have been artistically oriented and inclined
most of my life, and the designing of Scripture panels suits me to a T
.:D
I also know they are not everybody's cup of tea, and that's fine by me...

Can I see your siggy?
Yes, it is there at the bottom of every post I make... the image, with two links to my threads below it.

Unless you have that option disabled in your user preferences...

If that is the case you can hover your cursor over my avatar beside my post and then click my name and go to my member where you will find the option find all threads by me to find the threads I have created. Scripture Art is the one...
