PRAYER TO PRACTICALLY HUMBLE OURSELVES AND RECEIVE THE PEACE OF GOD NOW!

Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus' name according to your Word. We choose to humble ourselves before you now by casting the whole of our care [all our anxieties, all our worries, all our concerns, once and for all] on You, for You care for us affectionately and care about us watchfully.

We are well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of ours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. We withstand him; firm in faith [against his onset–rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to our brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world.
