I've noticed for quite a while that the CC User Online List, doesn't show everybody's name that are actually online. One gal is a frequent poster in the US and her name is never listed, as are others I've just been noticing. What is the reason for that, it may sound trivial, but it's something I just don't know why but know there must be a reason, lol.

There is an option to set yourself as always offline, or to remain hidden. Something along those lines.

@TabinRivCA There is a work around if you'd like to see if a particular member is currently online, I think (although I haven't consciously tested it, but now made a note to next time a hidden member posts)? A green dot appears next to the icon of those currently active online, even if they are hidden in the member list.

*you can see if it is currently next to mine? I'll stay online for the rest of the morning until someone can let me know.

Not true. The main purpose of appearing off line is to Hide that dot, so no one can see that you're on.

Ok, ty, was just checking. How about as I am actively typing? it seems that I noticed one, FreeGrace, although he's been banned since and just might've actually gone through the motion of just logging in and out per post, but I noticed I could see him on the list coinciding with his subsequent disappearance at the appearance of his post... not that I'm actually that pressed about actually finding that out, I must be bored and killing time. I'm going to assume that he probably wasn't aware of this handy function.

In all my years I've never seen a hidden person showing any activity other than when they make a post. Obviously it shows the post made, as well as time, just like normal.

What is interesting is when you see the green dot and 'Banned' together at the same time...

???
There are different types of bans.
But perhaps they were banned while online and the dot hasn't had time to register that they're offline.
Maybe just a random glitch.
Personally I've never seen that happen.

It's to let everyone know, unless you're hidden. Then it doesn't come on for anyone. Though I'm not sure if it shows for you then, or not. I'd assume not.

I see that dot next to my posts when I'm on, and my setting is hidden so that you cannot tell from where I come from or where I am going ;)
