Kimberly Cheatle, director of the U.S. Secret Service, said she will not resign from her role after what she called the “unacceptable” assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump at his campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

An unacceptable failure?

So if she doesn't resign it is time to impeach her.

it just shows their character. as head of her department, it is her responsibility. The one in charge always assumes responsibility. but not these people. they make excuses for everything, its never their fault.

It wasn't her fault. She prohibited the shooter from being shot for three minutes. What more could she do, it was the guy who fired the gun from a point blank range that failed not her. Oh wait...you mean it was her fault in not stopping the attempt ;);) oh yes, terrible. I bet she will get a tongue lashing from Biden for that.

I haven’t completely vetted this, but if true, it proves the deep state’s tentacles have reached far and wide.

If only there were some way for the sniper on the roof to have communicated with the Secret Service protecting Trump to get him off the stage. Three minutes seems like plenty of time to get Trump out of harms way. Now I know @Susanna has pointed out how incompetent the new DEI hires are but still, if there was only some way to get the message to them.

Most people have too much faith in what the authorities are able to do - and what they know about each and every one. The truth is uglier than the conspiracy theories.

The truth is that the authorities know far less about us than most people think.

A security detail is not very efficient and then there is the human element that slows down decision making.

It’s often not possible to gear up security to a specific level inside a few minutes. Messages and alerts have to be handled and that takes some time. It’s the human nature.
Wow I had no idea it was this bad. The sniper said he had the shooter in his sights for three minutes and yet they still were unable to get a message to the security detail at the stage to get Trump out of harms way. If only these guys had some kind of way to communicate. I used to think those ear pieces in their ears were for communication but I guess that is all just for show.

Snipers Were INSIDE Building Used By Trump Failed Assassin; Reported Him Using Range Finder, Took Pictures, And Command Did Nothing

"This is a failure at the management or command level who failed to secure an obvious weakness in the security of this event..."

They must have been wearing their mil-spec earplugs not to hear somebody climbing up the ladder and banging around on the rooftop.
I am going to talk to the people who made this TV show, according to @Nehemiah6 this is not a joke.

Uh Oh, now I am confused. God is laughing at them and holding them in derision too.

Psalm 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Perhaps this is what @Susanna means about the DEI hires. They are hiring SS agents that can't see.

I know this is difficult to grasp without field experience. Things take longer time than anticipated even if the operatives are well trained and experienced.

You tend to forget the human element. There are decisions to make, fear of making a wrongful decision, fear of losing your job and fear of heat from the media. Added up the clock is ticking - fast.

Thank you for confirming I did understand what you had said.

I just want to make sure I have all this information correct.

1. The guy on the roof was spotted 30 minutes before he shot Trump.

2. Witnesses took pictures and notified the police.

3. The police also saw him on the roof.

4. In the building where the man who shot Trump from the roof were Secret Service agents who had seen this twenty year old man use a range finder to get the distance to Trump before he went up onto the roof.

5. A sniper there to protect Trump had the assassin in his sights for three minutes but was not permitted to shoot him.

6. Meanwhile during all this time no one thought to get Trump off the stage.

7. Finally a day later when asked if he had talked to the director of the Secret Service Biden said "yes, I have talked to him" (the director is a woman).

Meanwhile @Nehemiah6 is saying we cannot make jokes about this and @Susanna is saying it was probably just the result of a lone wolf and human error.

I think you missed my post about Sgt Schultz in Hogan's heroes. I think that is what you are referring to.

Let's clear up some misconceptions about the shot because @Susanna has shared her story and she is sticking to it.

You’re missing the point. Live incidents can throw anyone off. And if does. Over and over again.

You’re analyzing this in retrospect and then it all looks so simple.

Megyn Kelly did an interview with a someone in the know. He said you shirt first and ask questions later. Something is fishy about what happened. at the same time, he did say do not come to conclusions, You do not know what orders they were given..
